The Villa fans, the other night, actually chanted for Barry as he came on as sub in the Intertoto.

Please don't compare Barry: a decent bloke whose spent 10 years loyal to a club and wants to pursue a champions league dream; with Ronaldo: a vein, selfish tosser of a person with an outragous talent.

I have always never liked him. Besides the talent, what else is there to possible like? Think ofGiggs, Scholes or even Evra, Rooney, Vidic, and then think of this twat.

Hope he doesn't get too many chants this coming season. I'm not saying none at all, but I hope his position as fans favourite is long, long gone.

This is just MY opinion and everyones entitled to there own. Please, no Ronaldo-cock-riders start threatening and abusing me over the web.

Tbh, I still hate the cnut, and I cant wait till he pisses off. Whether it be this summer or next...
As long as we get paid handsomely and we bring in a quality replacement, I'll be a happy chappy...

Good for you. SAF thinks otherwise :boring:

We won't get full value from those shitheads at Madrid, and a replacement for him would be hard to find

Regardless of what has been said and what hasn't it really is sad how he has ruined the relationship he had with the fans, not sure if I've seen anything like it before... really stupid.

Oh yeah, that cnut Heinze :D

Nobody mention players like Rio or Ince... totally different scale of cnutishness.

It's still too hypothetical for a real answer - even if we do make the assumption that he's staying.

It's easy for me - because annoyed as I've been at various points during this saga, he hasn't actually lost me. I can look at a Youtube video of him in action and smile. I may never buy a piece of CR7 merchandise (OK - so I wouldn't have done anyway) but I will see it as Ron/United Arranged Marriage Mk2 and I'll be as keen to see it work as I was the first time around.

Imagine two months of the press going on about how Ron'll be received before he actually makes his comeback as a sub sometime in October.

There may not be a lot of love when he reappears, but hate? I don't know. Give us a common enemy like Alan Green, the away fans, some fullback determined to become famous by being the first one to put stitches in the newly fixed ankle.

Sure, the tribe's going to ostracise him for a while, and it'll always be suspicious (not that many people, over 9, trusted him before ) but it's no fun resenting one of your own players - especially if he's playing well, or even if he's struggling for form after an injury.

You are very wise, jojojo.

Real Madrid cnut Ramon Calderon admits he can do little more as he waits for a conclusion to the "soap opera" of Cristiano Ronaldo's future.

The Portugal winger has been tapped by the fascist cnuts - Real (bunch of cnuts) all summer, although United are adamant they are not prepared to sell the man whose goals helped them to Premier League and Champions League glory last season.

Ronaldo has refused to confirm whether he believes his immediate future lies at Old Trafford or the Bernabeu, but a compromise could be reached by Ronaldo finding himself on the end of one United fans boot - Mr Red Hand Devil!

Ronaldo has yet to issue a firm committment to the Red Devils, and Calderon has once again claimed that his club are little more than spectators in the matter.

"Look, this is a problem that was created by Real Madrid, we know we're a shower of cnuts, its what we do... we think we're the best club in the world & we use motivational tenhniques in front of the mirror where we shout - "you're the best - you're the best..." he told Spanish fascist sports daily AS.

"Madrid are just spectators in this soap opera. A bit like a fly around shite - although we are the best fly in the world.... and we own the shite aswell... unless someone buys the shites buy-out clause of $300,000,000".

"At the moment Manchester United and the player are in an argument about how much tan a man actually needs, and Madrid are waiting... by the poolside with oil incase Ronaldo needs a top up.... and we can't do any more for the time being."

"Obviously, it's clear that we want Cristiano here with the quality tan that he has. Its an immense tan that can only get better & more defined. It is without a doubt the best tan in the world & far superior to Kaka's tan of last year."

"Will he persuade the club to let him go & buy some extra tanning oil - thats only a question that can be answered by Cristiano & Manchester of United? I can't say that, but Ronaldo has publicly said his dream is to play for Madrid... because of the unique tanning opportunities available here in Madrid..."

"We hear those words with pride and satisfaction, we have many great chemists that sell fantastic tanning oils, but his departure doesn't only depend on Cristiano. United are the ones that have to sort it out and it will either happen or not...."

Ronaldo, who is recovering from ankle surgery, is yet to return to Manchester, but Calderon believes when he finally does it could be decisive for player and club.

"It could happen then, but it's true that we have to wait developments," he continued. "Everyone's thinking so much about this matter that people can get confused and I understand that they're fed up.

"They (United and Ronaldo) will talk next week and if after this conversation United decide to sell him, then of course Madrid will be there."

Madrid have publicly courted Ronaldo all summer, to the Premier League side's fury.

United reported the Spanish giants to FIFA, but Calderon insists his club have nothing to feel guilty about.

"I would like to remind everyone that Madrid didn't generate this expectation but the player himself," he added. "The club has been respectful.:lol::lol:

"If he wasn't happy and wanted to leave we wouldn't fight to change his mind. But I don't think that's the case. It's absurd to plan someone's transfer if they're happy and I firmly believe that."

If Ronaldo does go to the Primera Liga champions there has been talk of massive pay package, but the Real chief insists that is not one of the reasons the 23-year-old is so desperate for a move to the Bernabeu.

"Look, when a footballer leaves a big club it's not for the money - it is for great tanning opportunities. I myself cannot tan, but it gives me great pleasure to see a young man tan so well - i fell immmense pride with that," said Calderon. "They leave because they're not happy with tan lacking opportunites, the sporting project, their family life, the local chipper not selling fish cakes, the coach and his decisions..."

"In that case it's better to let them leave. I don't want a single player in my Madrid who's unhappy. But we have the good fortune that in this Madrid the 25 we have are happy..... with all our tans....."

No - fair comment; you're entitled to your opinions. But do bear in mind my comments a few pages back about unrequited love. Which would you rather have, a team full of rather self-obsessed Ronaldo's, or a team of really great guys, each as loyal to the club as the most dedicated fans, but none much above Div 1 standard?

Life has taught me that you can't have it all ways. What about you?

It's easy really, you take the good with the bad. I haven't heard Ronaldo utter anything disrespectful towards us. Being from Portugal will obviously give you other dreams than people from the Orkneys, and we've all heard about his dreams a long time ago.

We can't have an entire team of loyal servants, that's just childish considering the modern day footballer. As long as the gaffer, the players and Ronaldo can see eye to eye, that's all that matters.

I think he's a dickhead but I also feel quite sad that it's come after last season, I loved watching the guy play for us especially since I'd watched him grow into the player he is. It'll be strange watching him next season, I don't know what I'll feel.

Hold me, Rimaldo.

For me, he s just a small boy who needs to grow up. Even if he 's 22 or 23, he showed that he is not mature enough.

Still I won't hate him as I m convinced that come next season, he ll produce the goods again. And at the end of that, that's all that matters.

On saturday, Ronnie will say he is happy to be at the club and is definately staying

Obviously, you've plucked this out of the air but I actually think Ronaldo could win over the vast majority of fans with a carefully worded statement, as soon as it becomes apparent that he's staying.

He will need to be honest about being tempted by the offer to join Real Madrid (which is actually fair enough, to most reasonable people) he will also need to say that it was an incredibly hard decision to make and he was genuinely torn (hence the "I stay" vs "it is my dream" crap) he will need to apologise for seeming to agree with Blatter and clarify exactly what he meant, he will need to apologise for causing so much stress to the fans who sang his name, and to the manager who made him what he is and he will need to say how he is honoured to play for Manchester United and looking forward to giving his all for the team in the coming season.

If he says all of this, I reckon 90% of right-minded fans would be prepared to let him start the team with a, more or less, clean sheet. I wouldn't be expecting anyone to sing Viva Ronaldo the moment he sets foot on the pitch but I reckon his reception would be fairly positive.

If he doesn't say all of the above, feck him...

Ronaldo: I'm Joining Real Next Week

Cristiano Ronaldo has sensationally told Spanish newspaper 'AS' that he will be joining Real Madrid, and will next week travel to Manchester to notify Sir Alex Ferguson that he is leaving the English and European Champions.

Real Madrid have been on red alert ever since the Portuguese international spoke of his ambition to join them. Madrid President Ramon Calderon has even boasted of how he would splash out €100m on the United man, only for the English club to refute all offers and shackle the player.

It now seems as if the English club has no choice but to sell, as Ronaldo has issued an ultimatum as he attempts to cut and run from Sir Alex Ferguson’s side.

Ronaldo is currently in Portugal where he is recovering from injury but he admits that he will return to England next week to confront his club and tell them that he is joining Real.

"Everything is fine. Next week I will return to England and tell them [Manchester United] that my only desire is to play for Real Madrid and that I will not negotiate," Ronaldo told AS.

According to reports in Spain, the winger will hold a meeting next Tuesday with Ferguson and the club's owners to tell them that he has had enough.

It's not what United fans want to hear but it seems as if the Ronaldo saga is finally coming to an end and no doubt Calderon will be dancing to the tune of Ronaldo's words.

How do we know that Ronaldo is going to speak on Saturday? is it because Calderon said so?

If those quotes are true it would be on the main page of Spain's government website, let alone AS' website. And an article about VDV is in the main page on As. Which tells you all.

As is marcas butthole

Even if he has said that he's not in a position to not negotiate.

Theres no chance he said that. Any desire to leave, he'd have told Sir Alex when they met. Weren't they the ones that did the tevez comments too? You know the ones that Sir Alex said weren't true? They're fishing

But I think we established that is what he did and Fergie told him where to stick his dream.

What a shite paper, utter shite.... do as they please, write what they want.

He does have a desire to leave and that's what he told Fergie when they met. Thing is, Fergie told him to wise up.

I'm genuinely amazed that we have people on here who still seem to think that everything's hunky dory, that Ronaldo isn't even considering a move and this whole thing has been completely fabricate by the press. I mean what the feck?
