Calderon impressed by Ronaldo's "World Class" Tan

Real Madrid cnut Ramon Calderon admits he can do little more as he waits for a conclusion to the "soap opera" of Cristiano Ronaldo's future.

The Portugal winger has been tapped by the fascist cnuts - Real (bunch of cnuts) all summer, although United are adamant they are not prepared to sell the man whose goals helped them to Premier League and Champions League glory last season.

Ronaldo has refused to confirm whether he believes his immediate future lies at Old Trafford or the Bernabeu, but a compromise could be reached by Ronaldo finding himself on the end of one United fans boot - Mr Red Hand Devil!

Ronaldo has yet to issue a firm committment to the Red Devils, and Calderon has once again claimed that his club are little more than spectators in the matter.

"Look, this is a problem that was created by Real Madrid, we know we're a shower of cnuts, its what we do... we think we're the best club in the world & we use motivational tenhniques in front of the mirror where we shout - "you're the best - you're the best..." he told Spanish fascist sports daily AS.

"Madrid are just spectators in this soap opera. A bit like a fly around shite - although we are the best fly in the world.... and we own the shite aswell... unless someone buys the shites buy-out clause of $300,000,000".

"At the moment Manchester United and the player are in an argument about how much tan a man actually needs, and Madrid are waiting... by the poolside with oil incase Ronaldo needs a top up.... and we can't do any more for the time being."

"Obviously, it's clear that we want Cristiano here with the quality tan that he has. Its an immense tan that can only get better & more defined. It is without a doubt the best tan in the world & far superior to Kaka's tan of last year."

"Will he persuade the club to let him go & buy some extra tanning oil - thats only a question that can be answered by Cristiano & Manchester of United? I can't say that, but Ronaldo has publicly said his dream is to play for Madrid... because of the unique tanning opportunities available here in Madrid..."

"We hear those words with pride and satisfaction, we have many great chemists that sell fantastic tanning oils, but his departure doesn't only depend on Cristiano. United are the ones that have to sort it out and it will either happen or not...."

Ronaldo, who is recovering from ankle surgery, is yet to return to Manchester, but Calderon believes when he finally does it could be decisive for player and club.

"It could happen then, but it's true that we have to wait developments," he continued. "Everyone's thinking so much about this matter that people can get confused and I understand that they're fed up.

"They (United and Ronaldo) will talk next week and if after this conversation United decide to sell him, then of course Madrid will be there."

Madrid have publicly courted Ronaldo all summer, to the Premier League side's fury.

United reported the Spanish giants to FIFA, but Calderon insists his club have nothing to feel guilty about.

"I would like to remind everyone that Madrid didn't generate this expectation but the player himself," he added. "The club has been respectful.:lol::lol:

"If he wasn't happy and wanted to leave we wouldn't fight to change his mind. But I don't think that's the case. It's absurd to plan someone's transfer if they're happy and I firmly believe that."

If Ronaldo does go to the Primera Liga champions there has been talk of massive pay package, but the Real chief insists that is not one of the reasons the 23-year-old is so desperate for a move to the Bernabeu.

"Look, when a footballer leaves a big club it's not for the money - it is for great tanning opportunities. I myself cannot tan, but it gives me great pleasure to see a young man tan so well - i fell immmense pride with that," said Calderon. "They leave because they're not happy with tan lacking opportunites, the sporting project, their family life, the local chipper not selling fish cakes, the coach and his decisions..."

"In that case it's better to let them leave. I don't want a single player in my Madrid who's unhappy. But we have the good fortune that in this Madrid the 25 we have are happy..... with all our tans....."

He's some cnut eh?! :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Being away right now makes that sorta difficult for me. Like the idea though........

Basically, there are three possible methods by which I could perform the numerical calculations which I am going to encounter during this filter upgrade.
First, I could use a mathematical software package, such as MATHEMATICA, MAPLE or MATLAB. The main advantage of these packages is that they facilitate the very rapid coding up of numerical problems and meter visualization techniques. The main disadvantage is that they produce executable code which is interpreted, rather than compiled. Compiled code is translated directly from a high-level language into machine code instructions, which, by definition, are platform dependent--after all, an Intel x86 chip has a completely different instruction set to a Power-PC chip. Interpreted code is translated from a high-level language into a set of meta-code instructions which are platform independent. Each meta-code instruction is then translated into a fixed set of machine code instructions which is peculiar to the particular hardware platform on which the code is being run. In general, interpreted code is nowhere near as efficient, in terms of computer resource utilization, as compiled code: i.e., interpreted code run a lot slower than equivalent compiled code. Thus, although MATHEMATICA, MAPLE, and MATLAB are ideal environments in which to perform relatively small calculations, they are not suitable for full-blown meters such as the Ronometer, since the code which they produce generally runs far too slowly.
Second, I could write my own program in a high-level language, but use calls to pre-written, pre-compiled routines in commonly available subroutine libraries, such as NAG,4 LINPACK,5 and ODEPACK,6 to perform all of the real numerical work. This is the approach used by the majority of football meters.
Third, I could write my own programs--completely from scratch--in a high-level language. This is the approach used in the Ronometer. I have opted not to use pre-written subroutine libraries, simply because I want supporters to develop the ability to think for themselves about foreign media and meter visualizations. Supporters should, however, realize that, in many cases, pre-written library routines offer solutions to meter visualization problems which are pretty hard to improve upon.
In other words, it is possible, but will involve some time and effort to instigate a Universal filter capable of handling foreign media and the copying of it by legit media and it may not be finished in time before it is no longer needed.
How about just throwing the metering lever on the warp core drive?

"Madrid are just spectators in this soap opera. A bit like a fly around shite - although we are the best fly in the world.... and we own the shite aswell... unless someone buys the shites buy-out clause of $300,000,000".

with that," said Calderon. "They leave because they're not happy with tan lacking opportunites, the sporting project, their family life, the local chipper not selling fish cakes, the coach and his decisions..."

Why waste your energy Calderon, when you could be filling in your jobseekers application?!

Funny thing is feck all's happened in 2 weeks and yet Calderon continues to spout this bullshit.

REAL MADRID directors want the club to end their pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Fed-up board members told president Ramon Calderon on Monday that they cannot risk missing out on signing other players while waiting for the Manchester United winger.

The Spanish giants have already set the wheels in motion to get Hamburg’s Rafael van der Vaart instead.

Some directors also openly disagreed with paying a world-record £80million fee for the Portugal ace, 23.

Calderon will now also try to land Valencia idol David Villa, who will cost around £30m.

Yet he STILL hopes Ronaldo will try to force his way out of Old Trafford when the player returns next week for a showdown with boss Alex Ferguson.

If, as expected, Ronaldo fails to persuade Fergie to let him go to Real, it will spell the end of Madrid’s efforts to sign the star this summer.

Holland schemer Van der Vaart plays in the same position as Ronaldo and will cost around £10m.

Madrid directors expect to seal a deal this weekend when they meet Hamburg’s chiefs in London after Arsenal’s Emirates Cup.

Ferguson has been steadfast in his refusal to allow Ronaldo to quit and that has left Madrid in limbo.

Real have not made a single signing and, crucially, the players already at the Bernabeu are becoming disgruntled by the constant speculation surrounding Ronaldo’s potential arrival.

Cristiano Ronaldo: Man United boosted as Real Madrid eye Rafael van der Vaart

By Mike Norrish and agencies
Last Updated: 12:28PM BST 30 Jul 2008

Manchester United's determination to keep hold of Ronaldo has left Madrid with few options, and the Spanish champions have yet to make a formal bid for the 23-year-old.

Real president Ramon Calderon has reportedly told the club's board it will be "very difficult" to sign Ronaldo, and put in place an £8 million deal for Holland international midfielder Van der Vaart, which he expects to complete next week.

"At the moment Manchester United and the player are in an argument and Madrid are waiting...and we can't do any more for the time being," said Calderon.

"Obviously, it's clear that we want Cristiano with the quality that he has. But there is a contractual problem that United and the player have to resolve, not us.

"Will he persuade the club to let him go? I can't say that. That question's for the player, who has publicly said his dream is to play for Madrid.

"We hear those words with pride and satisfaction, but his departure doesn't only depend on Cristiano. United are the ones that have to sort it out and it will either happen or not."

Real have been criticised by United over their pursuit of Ronaldo, but Calderon has claimed his side have conducted themselves in the correct manner.

"Look, this is a problem that wasn't created by Real Madrid," he added. "Madrid are just spectators in this soap opera.

"I would like to remind everyone that Madrid didn't generate this expectation but the player himself," he added. "The club has been respectful."

"Our desire is equal to that of Chelsea wanting Robinho and (Iker) Casillas or United wanting Sergio Ramos. We didn't blow this all up. The club at which I'm president sleeps with a clear conscience."

Ronaldo, who is recovering from ankle surgery, is due to return to Manchester on Monday for talks with Sir Alex Ferguson and Calderon hopes that meeting could yet open the door to a move.

Madrid know a world-record fee would be required to bring Ronaldo to the Bernabeu, prompting speculation that Robino could be sold to finance the deal.

But coach Bernd Schuster is adamant Robinho will remain at the club next season, and Calderon claims there is no reason to offload him.

"The coaches believe they (Ronaldo and Robinho) are compatible and Madrid don't need to raise funds to buy," he continued. "To sign Cristiano we don't need to sell anyone and even less so Robinho. It's not like that at all.

"I don't have any reason to think that Robinho is unhappy. Schuster adores him, his team-mates want him and last year he was very happy at the Bernabeu.

"If he wasn't happy and wanted to leave we wouldn't fight to change his mind. But I don't think that's the case.

"It's absurd to plan someone's transfer if they're happy and I firmly believe that."

Robinho Strengthened By Ronaldo Failure

The Brazilian forward has been the subject of interest from Chelsea and is now demanding that los Merengues pay him the same salary that was on offer at Stamford Bridge, El Mundo Deportivo reports..

Madrid president, Ramón Calderón, is keen to keep Robinho and has put forward a five-year package worth around €4m-per-season, but that is nowhere near the player's demands.

Instead, the 24-year-old is asking for €5.2m after being informed that is that amount that Chelsea were prepared to pay him to join them in the past few weeks.

Robinho's optimistic outlook at the Bernabéu has been dented by the continuous delays in talks with the club over a new deal and his mood worsened when he was said to be included in one proposed package for Ronaldo.

Chelsea's interest and Madrid's failure to give an outright rejection to that also made him think twice and has now made him dig his heels in at the negotiating table.

"I think Robinho appears to be a bit sadder at the moment," Iker Casillas confirmed. "He is not in a bad way, but it is true that he does not have his usual character."

With the move for Ronaldo now looking more unlikely, Madrid may be forced to raise their salary offer in order for Robinho to settle down once more.

Lucas Brown, Goal.com

So he's happy is he Calderon?

So he's happy is he Calderon?

Calderon reckons he will be when they treble his salary.

That's what he means when he says it's not about money - Madrid think a top club can always pay the wages if it wants to / has to. And in Robinho's case Madrid will probably have to.

Calderon is full of bollocks. The amount of tapping he does - just ask barca and juve about figo and zidane- and the media campaign he conducts are enough to piss even the Chairman of Bayern Munich. Yes, Ronaldo is partly to be faulted for his flirting but to claim that Madrid are a mere spectator is a lie. Just read the history of Real Madrid and you'll know whether they're to be trusted or not.

Calderon says he has the funds to buy Ronaldo so why not make a bid?

Yet another one of his lies

like what they did with Claude Makelele?

Madrid is the club that treats players and managers as slaves. None of their managers last more than 3 years irrespective of the success.

Ahhhhh, so this whole business about slavery has been another case of meaning being lost in translation? Ronaldo actually wants to be a slave? He wants to go to Madrid out of some sort of Max Mosley-esque slavery fetish?

In that case I say we shouldnt stand in his way. Sexual desire is a very strong and complicated matter.

Unless we get Vidic to dress up in black leather outfit and dominate him for a couple of hours every day after training.

Schuster, who spoke to the press in Irdning (Austria), sent a direct message to the club and Mijatovic, with whom, he admitted that he does not speak "frequently". The technician stated that he was not receiving timely information on the negotiations with Cristiano Ronaldo and expressed the need for signings to happen.

"At last I am glad that the president (Calderon) is coming, he intends to talk to me, to inform me directly about the situation. The plans we made some time ago were quite clear. I do not know if they have changed but it would be nice to know," he said.

"I'm not upset because I am used to being more or less the last. Everybody learns, at least someone like me, who has more importance. It is not pretty to learn these things from others and not knowing or able to answer questions. It is not good. I would like to know more, " he added.

Calderón ready to wait for dénouement of Ronaldo soap opera

'The club at which I'm president sleeps with a clear conscience'

The Real Madrid president Ramón Calderón said today he is prepared to wait to complete the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United and is meanwhile enjoying the drama being played out between the Portugal winger and the Red Devils.
"This is a problem that wasn't created by Real Madrid," Calderón said of the apparent disagreement between Ronaldo and his club. "Madrid are just spectators in this soap opera."
Calderón made it clear earlier in the summer that Real are interested in signing Ronaldo and the player admitted during Euro 2008 that he would welcome a move to the Bernabeu, despite helping United to Premier League and Champions League success last season.
"At the moment Manchester United and the player are in an argument and Madrid are waiting," Calderón said. "We can't do any more for the time being. Will he persuade the club to let him go? I can't say that. That question's for the player, who has publicly said his dream is to play for Madrid. We hear those words with pride and satisfaction, but his departure doesn't only depend on Cristiano. United are the ones that have to sort it out and it will either happen or not."
Ronaldo is recovering from the ankle surgery that caused him to miss United's pre-season tour of Africa. Calderón said he does not expect any progress to be made on the potential transfer until the player returns to Manchester and speaks with his current employers.
"They [United and Ronaldo] will talk next week and if after this conversation United decide to sell him, then of course Madrid will be there," Calderón said. "I would like to remind everyone that Madrid didn't generate this expectation but the player himself. The club has been respectful."
United are known not to agree with Calderón on this point, and have reported the Spanish club to Fifa over an apparently public courting of Ronaldo. But Calderón said their desire to sign him is "a natural and logical desire" and that none of Real's actions has been underhand. "We didn't blow this all up," he said. "The club at which I'm president sleeps with a clear conscience."
Real would likely have to break the world transfer record to bring Ronaldo to Madrid, and the potential cost could be offset by selling the Brazil forward Robinho to Chelsea. But Calderón also insisted today that they would not sell to buy and that the club is sufficiently wealthy to keep both players, comments that are likely to be welcomed by the Real coach Bernd Schuster, who is a known admirer of Robinho.
"Madrid don't need to raise funds to buy," Calderón said. "To sign Cristiano we don't need to sell anyone and even less so Robinho ... If he wasn't happy and wanted to leave we wouldn't fight to change his mind. But I don't think that's the case.
"I don't want a single player in my Madrid who's unhappy," Calderón told the Spanish newspaper AS. "But we have the good fortune that in this Madrid the 25 we have are happy."

Do We All Hate Ronaldo Now?

July 30, 2008

ronaldo_man_utd_1_man_city_2.jpg

Early in the summer Ramon Calderon, the unctuously smug president of Real Madrid, let slip to the club’s propaganda organ Marca, that Cristiano Ronaldo would be signing for the Spanish champions on July 7th.
It’s now almost August and not only has Ronaldo not signed for The Regal Meringues but neither have Madrid bothered to interrupt their ceaseless campaign of insidious rumour by actually making a bid for his services.
It’s safe to say Ramon Calderon is feeling altogether less smug now as the end of the transfer window begins to loom on the horizon. Madrid are rumoured to have made an £8 million bid for Hamburg’s Rafael van der Vaart, who, whilst a great and previously under-rated player, doesn’t have the neo-galactico appeal of the man currently topping up his tan Stateside.
Calderon claims that the Ronnie deal is not entirely out of the question, suggesting that much of the impetus for the deal had come from the player himself.
“At the moment Manchester United and the player are in an argument and Madrid are waiting…and we can’t do any more for the time being,” said Calderon.
“Obviously, it’s clear that we want Cristiano with the quality that he has. But there is a contractual problem that United and the player have to resolve, not us.
“Will he persuade the club to let him go? I can’t say that. That question’s for the player, who has publicly said his dream is to play for Madrid.”
Whilst we’re loath to agree with anything Calderon says, it’s hard to hide away from the fact that his assertion about Ronaldo’s motivations is largely true.
Couple that fact with the likelihood - re-inforced by United’s repeated statements on the matter - than Ronaldo is not for sale and we have an invidious arrangement ahead of us next season.
A young man who was previously idolised by the Old Trafford faithful and the legions of worldwide fans has been ‘found out’.
On fan forums the bitter invective directed at this ‘turncoat’ has flowed freely, social networks like Facebook have seen a proliferation of anti Ronaldo groups and every punter in the pub now has nothing but bad things to say about the fellow.
What a transformation - from hero to pariah in a matter of two months.
Can Ronaldo win back the United fans?
Or is it impossible - do we all hate him now?

It's still too hypothetical for a real answer - even if we do make the assumption that he's staying.

It's easy for me - because annoyed as I've been at various points during this saga, he hasn't actually lost me. I can look at a Youtube video of him in action and smile. I may never buy a piece of CR7 merchandise (OK - so I wouldn't have done anyway) but I will see it as Ron/United Arranged Marriage Mk2 and I'll be as keen to see it work as I was the first time around.

The Villa fans, the other night, actually chanted for Barry as he came on as sub in the Intertoto.

Imagine two months of the press going on about how Ron'll be received before he actually makes his comeback as a sub sometime in October.

There may not be a lot of love when he reappears, but hate? I don't know. Give us a common enemy like Alan Green, the away fans, some fullback determined to become famous by being the first one to put stitches in the newly fixed ankle.

Sure, the tribe's going to ostracise him for a while, and it'll always be suspicious (not that many people, over 9, trusted him before ) but it's no fun resenting one of your own players - especially if he's playing well, or even if he's struggling for form after an injury.

they like to make it life or death but the fact it's gone alittle quiet, dickface aside, has helped calm some not all but some. Once Ronaldos back in training it'll die down further but it's pretty much run out of steam :)

happy days
