tevez cunnnnnnnnnnnttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111

Congratulations for being the dumbest poster on the Caf. Trust me, that's quite an archievement.

I think its fair to say we don't really need our players adding to the speculation of the Ronaldo transfer. Just adds fuel to the fire however good Tevez's intentions were.

Just to throw in another opinion..

You know how us lot are getting a bit fecked off with Ronnie, well may be the players are too. Tevez seems like a heart on the sleave sort of bloke and whilst the rest of squad is getting focused on defending our two trophies Ronnie's twating about with the media.

I he said what he said then maybe he's just echoing the feelings of many other people, as in if he doesn't want to play for United, who are just as big a club as Real then he might as well feck off.

I don't see what Tevez said that was wrong.

Fistly, he never even said Ronaldo should go if he wants to, he said IF he went they would respect his decision.

Secondly, he is saying he can understand why he wants to go to Madrid. Fair enough, as Tevez himself has said he wants to play in Spain one day.

Finally, the quotes are from AS so even if Tevez did say that stuff, they probably cut some quotes out to make it look more pro-Madrid.

Don't be suprised if Tevez didn't say half of the stuff AS said he did though as they are just as bad as Marca and make up quotes

While Sir Alex will keep the dressing room as one, i'm sure 1 or 2 lads won't be impressed but they're professional. I don't know if Tevez said that or not, AS aren't exactly moral but if he did, what he said is correct.

However clearly Sir Alex doesn't feel Ronaldo is as desperate to leave as madrid or the media want us to believe

It depends what you read. if a player says you don't know the future, half the media will print that and the rest will say he definately does

I read Tevez wants to stay 4/5 years here at United and then go back to boca while he's still in good shape. I don't see how he could fit spain in.

Having said that, would be nice to retain him for longer and you never know with the players, support we have

Cannot believe how many still take notice of any of the crap printed in the tabloids then regurgitated on sky etc. They distort, twist, badly translate and completely make-up quotes to suit that days "news item."

Hence Fergies comments on Chelsea about being full of mature players that are unlikely to show much improvement becomes "Chelsea squad past their best or over the hill ..........very different meaning and complete rubbish.

Funny how Tevez's quotes (even though there was nothing wrong with them) only came from Spain and no other country .

Tabloids twist stories to make a controversial headline and unfortunately people believe the controversial headline

Calderon: We Don't Need Ronaldo

Thu 24 Jul, 11:09 AM

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon believes the Spanish champions will be a force to be reckoned with next season regardless of whether they sign Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Manchester United winger has been tracked by the Primera Liga champions all summer, with the player himself fuelling speculation by refusing to commit his future to the English club.

United coach Sir Alex Ferguson, who met Ronaldo for clear-the-air talks last week, is adamant there is no chance of the Portugal international quitting United for Spain.

But Calderon insists, even without the Portuguese, Real will go into the new campaign with a "complete" squad.

"We can't talk about footballers who aren't ours," he told Spanish television channel Atena 3.

"I've already said several times that we have a very complete squad, who have just won the Primera Liga.

"We built a great team last year. If we finally make some signings, they would be few but very good."

The Real chief claimed the Spanish side are mere spectators in the transfer saga which has dominated the summer.

"We don't have anything to say about that issue," he said. "We are only spectators, a passive observer in this whole story.

"It is the player and the club who are talking about a possible problem, we are unconnected to all that."

Calderon also poured scorn on suggestions unsettled Barcelona forward Samuel Eto'o could return to Madrid.

Eto'o has been told he can leave the Nou Camp this summer, and although he is reportedly the subject of interest from Real, it would be a controversial move for the player who left the Bernabeu on a sour note in 2000.

And Calderon has laughed off suggestions that the striker could move back to Barca's bitter rivals.

"There is not an 'Eto'o case'," he added. "I don't know where all this came from, because moreover Barcelona, as is logical, will not sell a player to Real Madrid."

The few players who have moved between the arch rivals have felt the full wrath of their former fans on their return to their old home.

One of Barca's favourite sons, Luis Figo, caused such a stir when he moved to Madrid he was pelted with bottles, coins, bricks and even a pig's head on his return to the Nou Camp.

Sour grapes?

Some signings means they don't think they will get Ronnie. They haven't got the money for that deal let alone anything else as well.

What a bleedin' scream this hubric fool Calderon really is! Do Real people genuinely buy this shit? If they do they must be the biggest bunch of dickheads in existance!

"we can't talk about footballers that aren't ours"

yeah thats why you have been doing it for about two years calderon :rolleyes:

Alas it has come to this.

On Tevez topic; it is probably just some misused and badly translated interview, if it was true i don't recognise any bad intepretations that he has made towards this ongoing saga.

Now is there any chance he could get the feck out of LA and get back to doing some rehab with the club physios? I mean this little jolly is being paid for by Manchester United after all.

According to what I've read he's with the (United approved!) Portuguese physio until after the first scan on the ankle, that's scheduled for a month after the op so that's still a couple of weeks away, and then they review again.

Tevez won't said that kind of thing. misquoted probably.

No i think we are pretty sure he did say what he did! It's people that have a problem with it.... It's an honest answer and he hasn't said anything pro Ronaldo to Real Madrid like most headlines state, neither slating his current employers.

Tevez probably did say what he did. However, its the media here that have chosen to twist his quotes in to reporting he said something which he didn't say and create misleading, controversial headlines from the quotes

Tevez probably realises that if Ronaldo goes to Real Madrid, his chances of staying at Old Trafford would increase greatly.

Thats how media work...but some bellend choose to ignore those things and go by what the ''headline'' of the article says...

Isnt the first time Tevez has spoken warmly about Spain. Most likely, he doesnt want to face the same thing when eventually he wants to move.

It's sounds real to me. It sounds a lot worse with the UK press spin and than it does in Spanish though. It's no surprise that it's AS who've got it. The reporter has been covering English as well as Spanish football for them for a while - Tevez will have met him before. For people who fancy translating the whole thing it's at:
http://www.as.com/futbol/articulo/f...tar-cristiano/dasftb/20080723dasdaiftb_43/Tes

Just the (apparent) quotes in that article, in the sequence the article uses them.
"This team has great players, including Cristiano Ronaldo of course. Clearly he is is a very important player for us, but these are personal decisions and he has to take him. "

"I understand Cristiano Ronaldo. Every footballer wants to play at Real Madrid. On the other hand I also think that everyone wants to play for Manchester. If what he seeks is something else, I think that should be respected. "

"I haven't talked to him, but when these things happen, neither side feels good. Now in addition, he's got the injured ankle, and that'll make him feel bad too. I hope that everything will be resolved well. "

Well Calderon has certainly picked up on something which I thought would quickly be identifed on the Caf in the wake of SAF's remarks to the effect that joining Real Madrid would be the worst career move for Ronaldo. As no-one else has made the point, I shall do so. It is simply that once SAF had singled out RM as a club to which a move would represent something entirely negative for Ronnie, it instantly became impossible for United to accept a bid from them, even if one were forthcoming. The simple reason being that to proceed with the sale in such a case would be equivalent to SAF conceding that he didn't actually care about the future welfare of someone whom he had been responsible for for over five years, since he was but a tender youth.

Calderon, I feel, knew the instant he heard Sir Alex's remarks that the game was over.

I cannot recall another instance of a club determined to hang on to a player using this rather clever tactic.

Trust SAF.

so lets get this right, tevez said, i play in a great team, people want to play for real and people want to play for united and he hopes everthing turns out ok.

what a complete cnut.....burn the fecker......traitor.

or its just mindless drivel, stating the obvious and should not be taken as anything more than that

I agree the cnut sentiments are ott but it dosent sit good if players like Tevez are spouting in with this kind of stuff, makes you think they will be the next ones saying "I am a slave".

Gullible media twat.

Tevez has said he wants to stay in England 4/5 years and then go back to boca. So it's different as him leaving wouldn't be a suprise. However obviously we hope we can keep him for a little longer then that

If the player moved and failed, it would prove Fergie right, that Madrid are wank. It's, certainly, extra pressure.

what I gather from the article as I have read it is that Tevez believes that if a player requests a transfer it should be granted, which is entirely fair. Ronaldo isn't man enough to come out and say he wants a transfer.

Well he obviously isn't to bothered about leaving enit!!! So whats the fuss...

I don't think manliness comes into it. He's spoken to SAF - he's told him what he wants. If it's a transfer, SAF knows.

Meanwhile he's a United employee until United say they've sold his contract.

Gullible media twat.
Such eloquence Pimpy, how did you learn to express yourself with such creativity?

I must admit though that i did forget to include the word IF

As in 'IF Tevez said this or that'.

But then again you also failed to include the word IF

As in 'IF Tevez didnt say this or that'.

Because IF he did say what he is supposed to of said, then who will look the gullible twat.

For wants of a better word!
