I personally think Ronaldo would bomb if he went to Real. I think without the support of Rooney, or Scholes or anyone else on the squad providing him with the crosses, through balls, etc that they do he wouldn't be anything more then really good. Greatness is rarely a result of individual skills, most need support and Ronaldo is no different.
 
As for Carlos Tevez. Stop talking up the 'lure' of Real Madrid.

Also Raul and Guti need to shut it. They are becoming the pawns of Ramon Calderon as he continues to play this silly game. They cannot be allowed to get one over us.

I think he followed up with his usual - it's between Manchester and the player and Madrid are just passive observers - thing. Or did I misunderstand him?

First thing first, he is one of the best players, no doubts. He has great technical ability, no question.

But i do agree he scores more goals, because lot of players in our team are not selfish, likes of rooney, scholes, tevez, giggs,hargo. All of this players have played a major role in Ronaldo's development and goals.

Ronaldo knows that, and so does SAf, which is why he said it would be big mistake for Ronaldo to go to Madrid.

I didn't understand him. The translation headline was 'Madrid will make practically zero new signings' or something along those lines

as moments in history go this was pretty small scale. although maybe 'you called?' would have been more apt to mark the moment in history when alexander bell invented the telephone.

Now we've all had a laugh at Ron's dress sense can we leave that topic alone - at least until his next fashion faux pas.

Tevez isn't saying anything new and with his contract history it would be more surprising if he didn't think players should be able to move when/where they want. Is it a good time to talk about it? No, but then a lot of things have been said during this saga (even on this board) that wouldn't stand up to selective quoting, press dissection and sensationalist spin.

Ronaldo's fashion clobber isn't what I would wear on a normal weekend but he's latin, they wear all kinds of bizarre shit (bizarre to me, that is). Good to see his "entourage" wearing a United shirt, mind you, an encouraging sign.

Now is there any chance he could get the feck out of LA and get back to doing some rehab with the club physios? I mean this little jolly is being paid for by Manchester United after all.
