Lets face it, there is no smoke without fire. Ronaldos advisors are obviously making Real believe that Ronaldo wants to move.
how many times does ronaldo have to say he is staying at united :|

he will probably move to spain sometime .. he needs to stop saying the noone knows the future bs ..
but he has made it clear that he is staying at united , atleast for now

madrid are taking it to a whole new level of cuntishness

Im sorry, i want him to stay here his whole career as much as you do but he has never said that, he makes open ended statements most of the time. He also talks differently to the english media than he does the spanish. Also what u said has nothing to do with what you quoted.

Real Madrid are acting like cnuts who think they can do whatever they want are untouchable. Arrogant twats

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has pleaded the club's innocence after the speculation over Cristiano Ronaldo's future at Manchester United took another twist.

On Tuesday, United threatened to report Real to Fifa if the Primera Division champions continued to pursue their attempted capture of Ronaldo in an 'unacceptable fashion'.

The Portugal international's future at Old Trafford has been in doubt in recent weeks with various Real officials publicly speaking about their interest in Ronaldo.

However, the Red Devils have vehemently denied that they will be losing the PFA Player of the Year this summer.

Magnificent relationship

Real have now moved to ease the growing tension between the two clubs, but do insist that the problem lies between United and the player.

"We haven't done, nor will we do anything against the wishes of a club that we consider a friend like Manchester United," Calderon said on the club's official website.

"Our relationship with Manchester is magnificent and we will not do anything that would violate the will of a team, just as we would not like that done to us.

"We know Manchester doesn't want to sell and we have nothing to say. It's a problem between the player and his team."

How much bollox can one club spout?

At the moment however part of me thinks they deserve each other.

Schuster didn't have nothing to say yesterday when he was talking as if the signing was done and dusted.

I really think his head is telling him to stay at United but his heart is basically with them. He probably grew up thinking they were the ultimate club. It's hard to shift that notion. He certainly could've easily said a lot more to put a stop to this crap but has chosen not to, other than vague statemensts about being happy where he is but not going any further. He knows when he's well off and he knows he's well off at OT. He just can't decide when and if he actually wants to move. Hence the reluctance to put a stop to this.

Must admit, I'm struggling for an answer to the accusation of United doing the same to sign Hargreaves.

Ronaldo could put all this speculation to bed with a definitive I'm staying rather than airy fairy "I stay, who knows the future" claptrap. Why would Fergie need to go out there if there was no problem at our end? At this moment in time, Real would be a step down for him anyway. Not even champions of Spain and well off the pace in Europe.

The Hargreaves one is simple. We made several bids and got our man. The problems is that it looked worse because it was protracted over several transfer windows.

I just looked at sky sports and there are these two headlines:

Schuster eyes Ronaldo capture:

"Here he'd line up alongside world champions like (Fabio) Cannavaro, important players like Raul, Guti, (Ruud) Van Nistelrooy, Pepe, (Gabriel) Heinze. "

Real plead Ron innocence:

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has pleaded the club's innocence after United threatened to report Real to Fifa

Ronaldo brings a lot of this on himself, if he wouldn't say things like its his dream to play in Spain, he loves it here but he can't predict the future, etc. He always adds those little comments everytime so the speculation will never completely go away and Madrid won't give up.

Hehe, Cannavaro, Raul, guti, Pepe, Heinze... hardly the best in the business (anymore)...

Bollox. Bayern told us to piss off in no uncertain terms but we kept going back becase we wanted the player and the player wanted us. I don't see the difference. I'm usually too red-eyed to point the finger at us but I really can't see the diff between what we did there and Real are doing now. I suppose the only difference is that Ron hasn't come out (and been honest) and said categorically where his preferences lie. Not that I give a shite - Real should feck off, regardless.:D

Did we buy a car for him and go through a newspaper to tell him what we'd be doing, how we'd be playing him, etc.? Did we persist everyday in talking to the media about him joining us? He made it clear from the start that he wanted the move; Real are laying bait and that's the key difference.

O please......

Seriously, Fergie really wont be going to that extreme for these circumstances!! I'd personally be pissed off if he has to travel to Portugal to try sway a player that hasn't stated anything about leaving his next term!!

Ronaldo shouldn't have said about wait for more news in 2 or 3 weeks time, it got he press in full swing on his future.

hehe.

I don't think a new car would be an issue with a reported salary of over 7.5 million a year. Most of these stories are rubbish, and it's hillarious to se how easily people get wound up by them.

The Madrid president believes his side's pursuit of Ronaldo has been blown out of proportion by the Spanish and English press.

"The media have fed this problem and we are not going to get into a conflict with Manchester, who are a club we consider to be our friend, and one with which we hope to continue enjoying a good relationship," added Calderon, who revealed he hopes to speak to United chief executive David Gill to clear up the matter.

"I am going to personally speak with David Gill because I want to clear this up with him and assure him that we are not going to influence any player to break a contractual relationship.

"There is no 'Ronaldo case' and I regret, in the name of Real Madrid, any discomfort this may have caused.

"Our posture in this case is the same as the rest of the teams when there are players under contract."

However, the 57 year-old did not rule out signing the United forward at some point in the future.

"If the team decides to sell the player, that's another thing," he said.

"What is occurring is a problem between the player and his team."

I think it's more the symbolism of it rather than the motor itself.
I'd like to think it's as symbolic as Beck's right-hand drive Murcielago that he ordered a few years ago - fecking useless to the intended owner.

So the interviews with Schuster and Calderon where they talk about Ronaldo are fake? Did they tell Franco that too? Give me a break!

It's absurd. All these quotes attributed to them by a paper - words he didn't say, you'd think he'd sue...:)

the best thing that could happen for us in the euros would be portugal meeting spain. ronaldo then would get torres red carded ala rooney and then he would become spain's public enemy no.1. his dream would quickly disappear.

Who is this fool? the funny thing is he laughed at his shit joke.

I heard from a mate of mine who is ITK (that's In-The-Know for all you who are not in the know) and he told me that apparantly Madrid are after Ronaldo.

I don't believe him myself.

What's this 2 to 3 weeks shite ?

I'm getting fed up now with Ronaldo ! and so are plenty of others, who know they will get slated on here for saying it.:nervous:

I think he could be one of the best United players ever, and I love to watch him play and ofcourse I want him to stay,

But

whos to blame ? Ronaldo or Madrid ?.. I say both !

If you eye a girl up in a club and give her a nod of the head and she winks back, you go after her. If she tells you to get stuffed you get another pint !

Either tell Madrid to "Go feck themselves" and say you love and want to play for Manchester United or feck OFF !!

That will give us time to rebuild.

I support Mancester United, Not just Chistiano Ronaldo, he's just a player for the team.

Ronaldo isn't bigger than the club? No fecking way!

End of fecking story.:annoyed:

If you had read those interviews you are talking about you would have realised that he does in fact say "I am at the right club, I want to stay" in every single one of them. All the rest is just media-hype and contract tactics.

Everyone knew this was going to happen. How the feck can so many be freaking out after one week of off-season?

Anybody who does not think there is some truth in what FergiesRedNose is saying is kidding themselves.

Seriously you should read his actual interview instead of the Mirror's edit and then go and feck yourself.[/QU

Read what I wrote dipshit ! All I said was he should tell them to feck off, That he hasn't done. If he did this would be over.

This is the problem with guys who wank themselves to sleep dreaming of Ronaldo.

anyone who tells the truth about their lover they get upset about it !

No the problem is people who go around thinking every player that plays for us is Ryan Giggs or Gary Neville. Ronaldo`s not more loyal than what we give him, he wants a high salary and he wants to be in a team that challenges for trophies every year. So far that`s been us, and he wants to stay. As he says in every interview. He also says that he wants to play in Spain someday, something we have known all along, so he`s not going to ask Madrid to feck themselves now is he?

Everyone knows this situation, we all wish he had the loyalty of a Neville but that was never going to happen. You just realised it a bit late mate.

I duno what to think to be honest. The interview with Ronaldo on the beeb when he says 'I stay, I stay' I thought that would be the end of it, 100% clarification. But then new quotes keep appearing saying 'I promise nothing' etc. Then theres the old saying theres no smoke without fire, im more inclined to think that he is staying, but like FergiesRedNose said, I wish he would just come out and say feck off to madrid and end it all there and then.
