Maybe he'll get 35 goals, 25 assists and a bigger influence on the team. :P

True.

But anyway, he's no going anyway, unless his mother's a liar liar her pants are on fire.

"He is fine where he is," she told Portuguese television station TV1.

"The future only God knows, but what is sure is that he is going to continue in England."

charleysurf it appears your tagline is very appropriate. 4000 fecking posts and almost exclusively shite.

4000 posts?

What's your problem? One of the Little Englanders I refered to?

Nonsense.

First of all, a lot can change in a season. Depending what happens here and at Real next season he may well decide on sticking where he is for another season after that. And another season after that etc.

Second of all, we will get no less money in a transfer next season than we will now. But we will get the services of the best player in the world to help us in our hunt for the holy grail, the "double double"

No-brainer really. If we can convince him to stay one more season we should.

one more season doesn't make sense, for a start this nonsense annually would be too painful to bear, if we can get 100m euro now it's good business.

If the boy has a shit championships - possible if he misses another crucial peno and it gets into his head - or he then suffers an injury or one of his facilitators (roo & tevez) suffers one and his form dips and he still wants to go his value will drop ..

I think all in all, if he wants to go , and that does seem a possibility then I would rather he did.

What's the point having a moody player messing up the buzz?, and I imagine if anyone can throw a strop it be our boy Ronaldo.

Mum's arn't exactly the most reliable source for information, but then, neither are weird Brazilian websites which I've never heard of, or interviews which apparently never happened.

100m is unrealistic. 50m and if the player really wants to go to Real, we should sell him because no player is worth 50m in the first place.

We're not in the business of doing madrid any favours....

Especially ones that have a link with Real Madrid. They've taken the piss, big time. What an awful club.

Personally, I think it will begin to plateau before descending and then suddenly growing again exponentially as I log in to take the piss out of everyone who's called him a cnut after he's said he's staying :D

He's a already a cnut for putting the fans through this. If/when he leaves, he'll be a judas megacunt of the highest degree.

fecking cnut.

You're assuming he'll be moody though. All the "I stay" crap means that he's in two minds, at the very least.

I take your point though. That's the one thing I'm a bit worried about. On balance though, I think he's a born competitor and will give his all regardless, in the same way he coped with the boo-boys in '06.

Real paid GBP 50m for a 29yo BPITW a few years ago, now you think we should sell a 23yo BPITW for the same price?

50m & Ramos & Casillas and we can think about it...

Scolari has just said that Ronaldo will only talk about his future after the Euro.

I'm off to bed. I expect to have 20 pages to read through when I get up. The bullshitometer might increase. Can't see the Ronaldometer changing much.
As I thought. After reading the last 16 pages..........

Ronometer says...........

we were champions with him and we will continue to be champions without him. It's a fact of life that he was always going to go to spain so let him spend a couple of years in the stands, if we don't the same thing will happen with nani and anderson if they break through.

I'd love to see how him and VNS get on

to be honest....we could let rvn heinze and beckham go...they were players who had casued problems in the dressing room..disrupting uniteds play but ronaldo no way...i dont think there is a replacement out there than united could get ...
maybe aftrer couple of years..but thts then..

ditto.

I don't think the scouse bastids treated gerrard this way even when he handed a transfer request. nah, they upped our muppets on this one

They were burning his shirts.

Talksport referred to it as "Trusted Brazilian website":lol:
I bet they had never heard of it until yesterday either

yea but its the mums that are talking sense..
ronaldos mum saying he should stay...kakas mum sayin he wants to play for united..

sack gill....sign the mums..

The only direct quote any of us have heard from Ronnie was "I Stay" all the rest has been from "sources" and the supposed interview, that did not take place according to the portugese camp, was written by a journalist with very close connections with madrid ----- suprise suprise

That's fair enough. I'm not sure what Terra is, or how credible they are. However, Ronnie could put this all to bed by saying "I stay at United until I die, so feck off Real" loudly, several times, in front of some English and Spanish journos, but he didn't. Instead he's playing hard to get.

I don't really blame him for wanting to move. But we'll see.

As conglomerations of retarded drama queens on crack go, I haven't seen one bigger than this thread.

areporter talking in spanish(dont know if hes spanish) just asked Scolari if he didnt think that it was a lack of respect to Sir Alex and United a team that Ronaldo has 4 years left in his contract that he advised Ronaldo to go To Real.
and he said that he didnt advise Ronaldo to go to Real.

I tend to believe the report.......

"The words were provided on Wednesday night to Julio Filho, a Madrid-based journalist for the Brazilian website, Terra, who is known to be close to Acaz Fellegger, the agent of Portugal national manager Luis Felipe Scolari. One theory in Portugal is that Scolari encouraged their publication, in order to get the subject dealt with before Portugal's opening game in the tournament, in Geneva tomorrow. Filho, a mainstream journalist, also works for the official Uefa website. "
