I think Derry could win in Ulster. I have a sneaky suspicion.
Good to see wisdom is alive and well in the capital mate, yes I am confident that we will destroy Redhands summer.

You can see what I was saying about croker. Okay attendence - completely lost in Croke Park
Kerry were the better team today but at the end of the day we should have bloody won it.Five of Kerrys pts are down to awful referee decisions and all through the match he leaned heavily towards Kerry,at times Kerry must have been embarrassed by his decisions. He must have been originally from Tyrone or maybe his ancestors were.Anyhow not too worried, now to put the red hand to the sword, watch out RHD
Hard luck man
Cant beat a load of juicey mushys alright
Jesus man your starting to sound like Rafa
"He's cracking up - he's cracking up - Crerand's cracking up...."
I must say I am taking a very logical view of things, the sum total it is time for the Tyrone men to graciously leave the stage, your time has gone.Anyhow I am forgetting about the GAA for the next four weeks too busy crapping myself about United,if we win both again I getting drunk for at least a week
Should be an interesting few months with United hopefully doing the Double again & Tyrone hopefully doing the Double (Snr & Mnr) again - fecking great year for me it has to be said & i'm greedy as feck for the same again please...
We are at one as regards United as for your other wishes you will need more than a Fairygodmother to realise them LOL
When it came down to it, you couldnt beat the big boys (Tyrone & Kerry) when it mattered, so i'm baffled at your over-confidence CL
All questions answered on the pitch over the summer RDH,can see the fear in your eyes from here
Better believe it big lad - thats the way we always do it.... see last years Dublin result for reference!
After May 24th - Good luck in the play-offs btw
Wont need any luck in the playoffs cheers,we are going straight down the middle
What makes you think you'll beat Monaghan & if you do - what makes you think you'll beat Tyrone (if we get past Armagh) in the Semi's?
Sure we already beat ya's & half our team was missing!
We are in for the long haul this year,we were not even going at anywhere near full strength for the national league nor were we that interested but despite that we got to the national league final.Cassidy is now fine tuning by the time we run into yourselves we will be purring like a Ferrari, your Mitsubushi while once a nice exciting car has had its day and will have no answer
Now the nitty-gritty is out of the way, the Chmp starts on Sun., where for a change Connacht kick it off, with Mayo V (the might of) New York!
So predictions please!...... Here goes....
Hurling;
Kilkenny for Leinster & All-Ireland.
Cork for Munster
Dark horses; Galway.
Football;
Connacht.. Galway
Leinster.....Kildare
Munster.....Cork
Ulster........Monaghan...(you d'ont think I'd go for anyone else!)
All-Ireland......Cork
Dark horses....Monaghan.
Monaghan for the Anglo-Celt & Monaghan for Sam
Take it the goat has Monaghan relations then
The 'aul Goat is indeed a very proud Monaghan man living in Galway!
Going to miss our little encounter in two weeks, heading to Dublin that evening to catch the following early morning flight to Rome so I am going to settle for the telly. It only the second time in years I have missed a Derry championship game, best of luck,in the backdoor competition of course

Not going to spoil your holiday, but I'll talk to you when you return!
No prob, you going to Derry in a fortnight?
Confident RHD,confident. Not confident of two tickets for Rome, becoming an obsession trying to get them.My brother who is a fanatical Tyrone supporter is after getting one from a friend in England,Im depressed
Not going to spoil your holiday, but I'll talk to you when you return!
The Mayo lads had a great piss up in New York anyway.
Yeah it seems so
Some folk are kicking up a fuss about that, ffs they're amateurs & put alot of sacrifice into their game - fair play to them I say, as long as they didnt disgrace themselves or their County & GAA Board, then i've no problem nor should anyone else!
I'm not condoning them. They are right. I would have been the first in the pub.
Didnt think nor say you were NC - i was saying that folk have been a little downbeat about it & that bemuses me!
I'm gonna be using that word quite a bit now - why? Its bemusing for me
I meant to say condemning not condoning. Luckily you didn't cop it!
Duffy hits out at managerial payments

The practice of inter-county managers receiving under-the-counter payments must stop, GAA director-general Paraic Duffy has said.
Speaking at the NUIG alumni event in Dublin on Tuesday, Duffy claimed unofficial payments of £30,000 were made to a "well known mercenary" manager in Ulster. He said the payments were not from the GAA but from two successful businessmen.
It is common knowledge that many counties and clubs are ignoring the GAA's amateur ethos by paying managers and Duffy admitted it was the "biggest single most difficult issue" facing the Association.
GAA spokesman Fergal McGill said last night that Duffy stood over the remarks which have reignited the management payments debate.
"It is most important to note that the director-general was not saying that anyone in the GAA had paid a manager £30,000 - it was two private businessmen, outside of the Association, who were alleged to have been finacing the manager in question," he said.
"This is a very important distinction. Furthermore, and just to be absolutely clear, there is no suggestion whatsoever that any of the current managers of Ulster counties were being referred to in this anecdote."
