It's totally normal for a fit girl to make an instagram account, accumulate anywhere from 50,000-500,000 followers and strike deals for sponsored content like posts about 'Fit Tea Detox' and make enough to live well. What a time to be alive!Yeah you can, some of those girls we jizz over in the NSFW thread makes serious coinage from their social media stuff.
I don't get why its worse to sell to us than City or Chelsea? The Jose factor shouldn't come into play. Give them 70+ million and they'll take it.
Sure but at the end of the day Arsenal is a business. Why risk a valuable asset leave for nothing for pride's sake?It does, there would be riots if they sold their best player to a Mourinho Man United side.

Pay whatever it takes. Who cares if it's £70m, just throw our hat into the ring at least.
Apparently he only started 25 games last year, don't be that guyThe only season he managed less than 30 league appearances was 13/14. Funny half season that.
Isnt that what Lukaku said as well, that he wanted to join another team?Pointless if his representatives have said he wants to join City.
Barring Van Persie, none of those players are proper match winners and none of them will be the difference maker in the other team. Why do people say there will be riots like they haven't sold Cole, Toure, Adebayor, Gallas, Nasri, Clichy, van Persie and Sagna to Premier League rivals in the past? Wenger is clearly happy to do it and has once again fecked up by having a player who wants out in the last year of his contract. He obviously won't want him to go for free so if Sanchez asks for transfer he has to sell him to anyone who has the £££.
Unfortunatley I only see him going to City in the PL.
Don't want to reek of desperation ala Chelsea and lukaku, if he wants to play for City. Would love him at United but don't think it would ever happen.Pay whatever it takes. Who cares if it's £70m, just throw our hat into the ring at least.
Think its the latter. Is there any murmurs of Sanchez moving to United or are we just wishing to the stars at this point?
But if they reject 60-70m offer from City, then why would they accept ours?I hope the club have, or are going to, at least test Arsenal's will to keep hold of Sanchez. Fair play, they don't want him to go to City. Bayern probably haven't got room for him now they have James. Juventus just signed Douglas Costa. Possibly he only really has PSG left that could both afford him and want him, other than ourselves. I'd say try throwing £60-70m at Arsenal just to see what they say.
Think its the latter.
That hasnt stopped him from saying he wants to go there.Outside of us and Bayern, who actually needs him and has the financial muscle for the move?
City is stocked. Chelsea are balanced as is.
Yeah because Pep decided from January onwards he preferred Jesus and benched the lad, nothing to do with injuries. It was only an injury to Jesus that got Aguero back in the side again. Don't twist the stats to fit the message (don't be that guy).Apparently he only started 25 games last year, don't be that guy
I'm failing to see how this is helping the defence of him keeping Sanchez out the teamYeah because Pep decided from January onwards he preferred Jesus and benched the lad, nothing to do with injuries. Edit: If I remember correctly he was also suspended for 7 games for two red cards for violent conduct.
Did he say that or just profess admiration for Pep? And was that recent? I'm just reading headlines here and there trying not to get too sucked in hereThat hasnt stopped him from saying he wants to go there.

No they wouldn't. Selling Sanchez to us is a genuine sackable offence; the last time they sold us a player of that calibre we won the league. He would genuinely be an x factor player for us. Add the Mourinho factor to that and its just impossible. The only way I'd say we get him is if he runs out his contract and makes a deal with us in January to join us next season, because then there's nothing Arsenal could do.Not saying they would, but we aren't City, and we can probably offer more than City. If we register interest, and can offer beyond £70m, they might start to soften their stance. It's worth a shot anyways, and I would hope that we at least try.
How is it any different selling to City? Arent they title contenders as well? If you're not selling to one rival, then you shouldnt sell to another. No they wouldn't. Put yourself in the shoes of an Arsenal fan; would you put up with selling your best player to your biggest rival who has a talismanic-shaped hole in their squad? Wouldn't you want the executive who did that ousted, and the manager who sanctioned it sacked?
But if they reject 60-70m offer from City, then why would they accept ours?
I dont think you understood my point. I was suggesting if they reject the 60-70m from City, why would they accept the same 60-70m from us?Cos Wenger isn't daft.
Sanchez can have a pre-contract agreement with another club as early as December/January and will walk free next summer if Wenger doesn't cash out now.
This is the same as the RVP contract. If Arsenal reject the £60m/£70m offer from City, United are the only club left that can offer a higher bid. If we add Sanchez to that attack, we woudl surely challenge for the title.

I don't think they want to sell to City either, or to any title rival; unfortunately for them Bayern dropped out, while Juventus and Paris have shown little interest. The only clubs who are interested/can afford him are English. And given he only has a year left on his contract, they may have to sell him if they can't reach a deal. Selling to City would be bad, but selling to us would be worse. The Mourinho/Wenger relationship, plus the Van Persie spectre, it's just too much of a bitter pill for fans, and probably also Wenger, to swallow. Plus, as I was indicating before, Sanchez would probably improve us more than he would improve City, who already have more attacking talent than we do.How is it any different selling to City? They really dont have a choice. Sanchez has made up his mind he wants to leave. Its a case of Arsenal wanting to make 60-70m this summer and lose him or force him to stay and lose him on a free next summer. Either way they aint winning the league.I don't think they want to sell to City either, or to any title rival; unfortunately for them Bayern dropped out, while Juventus and Paris have shown little interest. It is a fair point that fans can't really do anything, but pressure from fans can seriously affect results and team morale (as we saw last season). It reached dangerous levels last season, and this sale would make it worse. To start the season with that much bad faith between the manager and the fans sets you back a long way.And what are they going to do? Arsenal fans are always pissed and they've wanted Wenger out for years now (and then changed their minds about 100 times throughout the season) and they absolutely hate the board. If Sanchez was sold they'd cry about it just like they did for van Persie but ultimately it won't have any impact on the board or Wenger. Arsenal have put themselves in this position by allowing yet another world class player to run their contract down to just one year. They have no leverage and only themselves to blame. Sanchez will choose wherever he wants to be next season and the Arsenal fans won't factor in one iota.

I think it would be us dont you think? City are comfortably looking to be in the top 3. Us, on the other hand, have been closer to Arsenal over these past few years. So IF we are fighting for the 4th spot, it might be with Pool and Arse. So short term we are a bigger threat to their Champions League than City.Oh, that?
Well perhaps because City are a bigger threat to Arsenal than us(as things stand).

My overall point is basically that Arsenal, by circumstance, will probably be forced to sell Sanchez to a premier league club in order to get any money for him. And if they have an option to sell him to anyone other than us, I believe they will.
He most definitely wont. He can make easily make twice of what he is making at Arsenal if he moves to either one of the Manchester clubs plus he has clearly stated he wants to play Champions League next season which clearly Arsenal cannot offer him. Arsenal wont break their pay structure too much to offer him 300K per week. The problem with that is Sanchez won't be pressured into going anywhere he doesn't want to. Wenger might want him to go to PSG but if he wants to go to City he'll go to City, if he wants to go to United, he'll go to United. If he's happy enough to stay at Arsenal as long as he gets a big wage rise, he'll sign a new contract and stay at Arsenal. As mentioned, tensions between the fans and manager isn't ideal by any means but the reality is there's nothing they can do about it and they won't let him leave next season on a free.
