Alexis Sanchez | Staying at Arsenal after City deal falls apart

No, Arsenal will rather let him leave for free than to sell to us. There would be riots in London if this happened.
There's no chance they'll sell him to us and yet on twitter all I've been seeing for the last few days is "Sign Sanchez" from United fans.

On the other hand why would they sell to City or Chelsea?

Arsenal have let a few players leave to Premier league clubs who've had their contracts run down.

Does anyone actually believe we'll sign Sanchez this summer?!

I don't for a second believe we will but what I don't for a second understand is us trying to sign Perisic for £50 million when the Arsenal board would probably sell Sanchez for a similar amount due to him leaving on a free the following season, same age but difference is Sanchez is probably only behind Hazard as the best wide attacker in the league.

Their owners are very profit oriented. If someone is offering close to 80m for a player with less than 12 months in his contract, they will accept it no matter who it is.

Surley if would be better to try to tempt Arsenal with 60-70m instead of 45-50m for Perisic?
Stop making sense! Sanchez and Perisic are very different players though. If Mourinho wants a defensive winger then Sanchez doesn't fit the profile. We should be in for Sanchez anyway but it wouldn't be instead of Perisic.

Let him go free to potentially join Utd or City or Chelsea the following season without the club making any profit? Hard to see that. If he won't sign a deal he'll be sold. Just not convinced it will be to us.

MUFC Insider is threatening to go private soon  That bastard knows what he's doing to get followers.

This is the next stage of silly season muppetism - actually creating transfer rumours without any sources (terrible or not) to get excited by. Claudio Bravo.

Even if some small miracle were to occur and Wenger sold his best player to Mourinho, United are not the players first choice. I think the majority of people around Sanchez and in football agree that he wants to join Man City.

Its just a case of Arsenal wanting to tempt him to either sign a new contract or move abroad. If both options fail they will sell to City towards the end of the summer. My guess is at around the £50-60m mark.

Yep. They don't give a f*ck about their fans' opinions.

I thought that he was Bayern bound but now that they signed James PSG might be favourites to sign Alexis? Arsenal must be eager to sell him abroad. To PSG maybe?

He would be a fantastic signing for us but it is very unlikely. Imagine Arsene being forced to sell his best player to Jose

Get him, whatever it takes just get him. He would be the difference between us winning the league or not.

It would be quite stupid for him to do so. Silva, Silva, Sterling, Sane, KDB, Jesus, Aguero... they have enough attacking talent, contrary to, let's say, us...

Arsenal have to figure out whether keeping Sanchez for another year is better than selling for say £50m this summer. Also, apart from China, there aren't many clubs that Sanchez would want to sign for and can afford the fee and wages involved outside the premier league. Further, we haven't challenged for the title (or even come close to it) since Fergie left, so Sanchez may well decide to join City and Chelsea over us.

Maybe Sanchez doesn't want to join us and after we ascertained that, we moved on to more realistic targets.

He is going to city. Only city is mad enough to pay 70,80 mil for a player in last year of contract. They have only sane on the left.
And he is peps type of player.

Still the best GIF of Arsenal fans ever. You get something new every time you watch it. It's how I like to imagine them over Sanchez.

If he doesn't back himself to get himself on the team sheet ahead of the others then he's not the player City think he is and I wouldn't want him at the club however he's a feisty, almost cocky little guy and I'm sure he's been assured that a start in big games is his to lose.

And what exactly is that?

Expensive.
Ha ha good one. Except that, his tiki taka is useless without player in front 3 who can do something by himself.
When robben and ribery were injured bayern was shit. The same goes with barcelona without messi. They pass, pass, pass, pass......pass but chances come when some super player like messi or robben do some magic.

Serious question...can you earn money on twitter? Like if 1mln people retweets my message then ibget dosh?

Yeah you can, some of those girls we jizz over in the NSFW thread makes serious coinage from their social media stuff.
