Alexis Sanchez | Staying at Arsenal after City deal falls apart

I think he should be our #1 priority this summer, but I think it's inevitable that he'll move to Bayern, as I don't think Arsenal will sell to an English side and I think Bayern offer the certainty of trophies.

Ok, No Griezmann, No Ronaldo, No Bale face it they aren't coming here. Lukaku who I like is going t cost the same ammout as a Griezmann, Bale or Ronaldo same with Bellotti.

Sanchez is World class and on the same level as Griezmann Imo. I'd offer Arsenal £60m-£70m and see what they say. You can go on and on about Wengar not selling to Mourinho but it's the board/owners that makes the final decision. Does Wengar have a choice if a player wants out and is promised 250k a week which Arsenal can't match. Sanchez in my eyes was the best outfield player this season in the prem, I thin we would be laughing if we signed him.

This. A million times over, this. He's definitely on Griezmann's level and premier league proven. He's better suited too compared to Griezmann imo. Chuck the £87m at Arsenal, they're not saying no to that. Give Sanchez what Zlatan is on right now and nice bonuses too, he won't be saying no either.

A few seasons ago it was RVP's signing that sealed the league, last season it was Kante's, next season the winners of the league will be the team who sign Sanchez.

I think all of us would love Sanchez, but I'd be shocked if Arsenal sold to us.

They basically gave us the title when we signed RVP.

And who knows if Sanchez even wants to come here?

Sanchez will come if we offer him the most £££, I don't know what Arsenals bests offer is but i am sure we can trump it. Let's say Arsenal offer him 250k we could easily give him 280k to even 300k perhaps more. If you are the best player in the PL you deserve to be one of the best paid.

Forget Lukaku, Bellotti and rest Sanchez is the man we need. Would any United fans moan if we sign Sanchez for £70m who would be on 280k a week?

even though he may go abroad I don't see why we can't at least dangle the bait out to Arsenal for Sanchez....they might bite.

If we were willing to pay near enough to 90 million for Griezmann just offer Arsenal £70 million for Sanchez and throw smalling or something in too.

I think they'd have to seriously consider it considering his contract is nearly up and they'd risk losing him for nothing in a years time. I can't see Bayern spending that much or even PSG

Would love Sanchez but would Wenger do business with Jose on his best player? It was different with Van Persie and Fergie

But why would he joins us though? It's not like we are in a much better position than Arsenal besides us having CL football. And Arsenal is ready to offer him 280k, so it's not about the money if he goes.

Bayern seems to be the most obvious for him.

This club has money to burn. If the likes of China and Anhzi could make players move then I'm sure we can offer enough to make Sanchez and Arsenal agree to a deal.

He is surely a must now. A week into the transfer window and our options seem to have reduced already.

He will be going to Bayern and if not there he will go to Chelsea or City but not to us, no way is Wenger selling his best player to Mourinho, no way

No idea why he'd leave london and 5th place for a side that finished lower than his current club, not just this season but the last 4 years running. Not when he'd have Chelsea/Bayern/City as options.

Reason RvP left Arsenal for us was the fact we were constantly challenging, in case people haven't noticed we haven't put in a hint of a challenge in 4 years.
He also spoke about wanting to stay in london if he could.

All the people that are negative in this thread about signing Sanchez who else are we going to get... perisic?....

Sanchez would be a good signing but highly unlikely with Arsene still at Arsenal. He would rather sell him to Chelsea than Mourinho managed United. That would literally be handing the title to United which would be too good to be true.

Isit Wengers final decision who Arsenal sell Sanchez too? The board and the owners have the final say. If no other team can match our offer for him and wages, there is a good chance we can get him. Wenger didn't want RVP leaving yet the board overruled him and sold him. Unlike Arsenal we are building sometching special. If we had Sanchez in our team last season we would of been top 3 easily.

I have a fair idea why....

I don't disagree but it's highly improbable. Chances are we might end up with Perisic and some striker. This summer isn't going to be us signing too many high profile players as last summer.

Wenger has final say over all the footballing decisions. The board is just a bunch of clowns, with the only other person with real power at the club being Kroenke (the owner). Kroenke could technically overrule Wenger but it would probably cause a huge rift and he just isn't an active enough owner to do something like that, especially right now. He took a ton of heat from supporters over the past six months and is unlikely to be any more willing to sell Sanchez to a rival than Wenger.

If Sanchez leaves, he will move to a club like Bayern or Juventus.

I disagree, The owners/board can tell Wenger who to buy and sell like Abramovic does, but they 'don't'. I am saying if an offer from us for £70m or more came in, I am sure the owners and board would consider it, Wenger will obviously say no to any transfer involving Sanchez but if the player wants out does he have a choice?

To me that would be very disappointing, without sounding like a spoilt brat, if we want to be champions we should be aiming for players that can improve us not just add depth. As much as people want to believe it, perisic won't really improve us.

With 1 year left and this being his last chance for a big contract, sanchez holds the leverage not you. If you refuse to sell to a premier league club, he can just sit it out and get an even bigger sign on bonus next summer. Juventus cant afford huge wages and bayerns wage structure is lower than top premier league clubs. Thus it is likely you will be forced to sell to a rival this season (with maybe a 5 to 10 million premium). Wenger being the stingy old man wont allow a 35 million + transfer fee to evaporate anyway.

Yea sign him up

10 times better than that Griezmann anyhow, and whats with the gurly haircut and them silly telephone sign celebrations, like whats that all about? Pifft! Who needs him!

Can Juventus offer the kind of wages he's looking for?
