Catalan radio said he doesn't want United because we're not in the CL.Only way he is going to arse over us is if we weren't interested.
We desperately need a quality winger. Our current time options are beyond shocking

You're kidding yourself if you don't think a millionaire South-American couple in their mid-20s don't find London a more attractive place to live than the North West of England. That's a load of Bollocks.Everywhere in England is a shithole compared to Barcalona. If he's willing to move to England, he won't care where.
That is all true, which is part of the reason I don't feel too bothered about his future, especially after all the links to Atletico this summer. If we're playing Theo and Ozil, another weak(er) midget who lacks pace isn't going to help us much either way. Even more so as he gives the ball away so cheaply - like Podolski, I just don't think he's that good a fit for the team we've built now.Cazorla isn't on the decline. Someone who is as two-footed and as good on the ball doesn't decline A player like him has a hard time chasing wingers and full-backs when he's played out wide, he's just doesn't have the physicality for that kind of game.
Only way he is going to arse over us is if we weren't interested.

Did you listen to it?Guesswork on their part, probably can't understand why we're not in for him either.
Yep, Mike Mouse FM.
Places I'd rather live than London:
In order---
Manchester
Basra
Prison
Hell
Under a bridge
Leeds
Luis Suarez mouth
Hitlers right arse cheek
Liverpool
And if there was absolutely no other option than this or London, America
I'm probably in the minority, but I think his best is in the middle rather than out wide on the right. His best season for Udinese came when he was playing behind Di Natale, and for Chile he's been excellent playing behind the striker. His vision and playmaking abilities are definitely underrated. He doesn't beat his man as often anymore, and he's nothing special in tight spaces. His end product has been improving for Barcelona playing out wide, but he's restricted as Messi and recently Neymar will always be the main men.I've asked this before and I'm not sure anyone answered, but where does Sanchez play when Walcott returns? They both play most effectively on the right wing, right?
If you have money everywhere is a terrific city.If you have money London is a terrific city.
Someone's never been to Swindon. If you have money everywhere is a terrific city.
Manchester has plenty of ultra posh suburbs and you can actually drive that flash Ferrari without getting stuck in traffic every 50 yards.
Granted, the nightlife doesn't measure up to London, but I don't want to be signing players who treat that as a priority. If we'd signed Ronaldinho ahead of Barca in 2003, I reckon he would have stayed world class for at least an extra couple of years.
We better go all out for Di Maria now.
I rate Nani.If you don't like Nani, trust me, you won't like him [i know he's better than Nani, mind you]
If you have money London is a terrific city.
I didn't present it as a dichotomy. I was just commenting on the rather peculiar British habit of shitting on their capital, which is admired throughout the rest of the world. I like Manchester, my brother lived there for a while and I visited a couple of times, was great fun.I always scratch my head at this "London great", "Manchester sh!t" breakdown as if it's a simple difference.
Both are big cities, and any top player won't be living in the crapper areas. You'll get a lot more for your money in Manc then London as well.
You can understand a bit the Chelsea rejections over us, top dollar, and recent history of a lot of trophies, but Arsenal takes a lot more head scratching.

It doesn't really look like you are in for him.
The anti-London bias of some of the northerners on here is hilarious.
Being rich in London is absolutely glorious. Food, nightlife, culture, art, events, whatever the feck you want.
Comparing London and Manchester is like comparing Man United and Bolton.
To international footballers, it is as attractive a place to live as any city in Europe.

Yep, a real shame, but then it's been one of the maddest summers I can remember for players we're linked to.
just seems odd that a quality team like Barcelona, are shifting someone who scored 20 odd goals from a wide attacking position off, and we're not having a gander.
Nope, really surprised we aren't in for him.Am I the only one who doesn't recall this ever actually being "on" beyond a few suggestions from ITK types?

Di Marzio says Sanchez prefers Arsenal. From that article:
Liverpool, however, have been given no indication Sánchez would snub Merseyside and obtaining his services was an essential element of what were described as “productive and realistic” preliminary negotiations over Suárez’s sale to Barcelona on Wednesday.
For some reason a narrative has taken hold that Sanchez doesn't want to join Liverpool even though sources suggest that is not the case - he hasn't stated it anywhere.

I guess it's the same type of delusion United fans had when we said Suarez was gonna leave Liverpool last summer.
