Hopefully we're in for him. If Arsenal, Liverpool and Juve are the competition, I'd make us favourites if we're serious.

No CL for a season doesn't mean shit. If we pull out a couple of quality signings we will leapfrog Liverpool and Arse, and we can offer more money too.
 
I can't believe that Liverpool will get him, the Swiss lad at Bayern seems to me a more likely target for them... Having said that I can't believe Barca would sell him to begin with anyway
 
I'd be upset if we wasn't in for him/ I'd be gutted if he ended up at Liverpool.

I know some claim we don't need a winger over other positions, but our wingers have been poor for a good few years, and Sanchez would fit the Van Gaal system very well it seems
 
I don't want to end up getting quoted on rawk if the unthinkable happens and he ends up at Liverpool but he's been the one player I've really wanted this summer.
 
You all are in for a massive disappointment.

If anything, he will be rewarded with a new improved contract at Barca.

He's been the only shinning light in a tough season for them.
 
It is scary when you think about how their three forwards have lit up this world cup..

Neymar, Messi, Sanchez. I think if they played 4-2-3-1, with a striker in front of them three i.e. Suarez pre-bite or a Lewandowski. It would be sensational.
 
I think Louis might want to try for Robben and only if that fails will he look at Sanchez. Of course by then he'll either have moved or signed a new contract.

Given how smart LvG is supposed to be I doubt it, Robben is 30 and Bayern will want a fortune even if they intended to sell, which seems unlikely, we'd be chasing the impossible. Sanchez on the other hand is reportedly up for sale and not even at a crazy price, we'd be absolutely mad not to be in for him.

I hope we are in for Sanchez. If we are not its surprising. Sanchez is a perfect player for us. Absolutely perfect. We can then even off load Nani for 5 mil I dont care.
 
Mail are going with the us and Arsenal story as well.
 
If he's available, just pay what Barca want and sign him. He's quality, a very direct runner and scores goals from out wide. We'd regret it if he went to another team in England.

We'll see. I don't think it's an issue in the slightest as every player under the sun will know that its a temporary blip. We've got a world class manager back at the helm now.
 
I wouldn't put much credit on the supposed Alexis' club preferences. There's absolutely no reliable source for this.
 
So I said earlier this week that we were very interested and in negotiations.

Now, it's come out in the press that we're very much in the hunt.

Can my tagline be changed to ITK wizard now?
 
A lot of talk about a deal invloving Sanchez and money for Suarez. Surely if Suarez gets a big club football ban then it would put Barca off.

Not really no.

Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Juventus have all been linked, with fans of both Arsenal and Liverpool saying its in the bag.

Plus the fact everyone knew already what you were talking about at the time and where the info came from, means your not a transfer wizard.

Yes I think many would take that even though Ideally another CB would be fantastic. But lets not be greedy. 3 top players in one window is the first for a while...?
