I don't think Carrick will be a starter for us under LVG. He's just not mobile enough anymore.
I'd love Sanchez at United. I really think he's a perfect player for us and he's a RW which has been a weakness in our squad for a while now. It makes way too much sense not to go for him. Although if we are interested in Robben, then I think we'll probably go for Robben over Sanchez.
I'd be gutted if any of our direct rivals sign him. We should be going all in for him.

I will be livid if Arsenal or Liverpool sign him. Fair enough if he specifically wants to move to Italy for some reason but if he moves to England and it's not us then we have missed a massive opportunity to sign a world class player.
Crazy if he joins Liverpool. Joining Arsenal, fine. But Sanchez to Liverpool just doesn't look right. I'm not really expecting him to join us (it would be a lovely surprise) due to the lack of CL and I think he's the type that wants to play at the highest level all the time. I know it's only one season out of the CL (hopefully!) but still, there's always a risk.

I agree. I don't see ANY reason why we wouldn't going for him. We need a new wide player and he seems to be the perfect fit. I find it worrying though that Arsenal and Liverpool are being linked more than us.

Funny thing is, in all seriousness, we actually stand a decent chance imo with 4 of those signings. Only one I think won't happen is Hummels, rest I could see happening. The recent Vidal quotes about him know being certain about his future should have everyones interest perked up. I hope LVG had a quick whisper in Sanchez ear the other day!

Kagwa and welbeck cannot play on the wing, Valencia makes has many assists has his goal scoring record, if he is available united should look to snap him up

Not going to lie, I would be pretty annoyed if he joined Liverpool. He would be great for us.
Could care less what we do with Valencia, Young, Nani and even Kagawa if we get Sanchez. Or even Welbeck. Don't think Welbeck is good enough to ever become a starter here, Kagawa doesn't seem to have the mentality for a club like United and even in his best position we have Mata here, so he's not going to be a starter. Sanchez would be perfect for us. Only player who I wouldn't want to get rid of in our attack/wings is Januzaj, all the others I couldn't really care less if they moved on. They just aren't good enough.
Stick with Kagawa. I think Welbeck has immense potential, we just need to stop dicking him around and play him as a CF, if that means he's on the bench and used as a Sub so be it.

^ That always gets me. Football is a team sport - you don't always need 11 world class players to be successful. Valencia just signed a new contract, did you see this coming.? We need the likes of Welbeck and Kagawa in our team. Don't forget we have Tom Lawrence and Wilson aswell - if they don't go out on loan they will need playing time aswell. I will love to see Sanchez play for us, but I can't see it happening. I am more then happy to go with our current lot and I hope januzaj will have a cracking season.
All credible sources report the same thing. Liverpool, Arsenal and Juventus interested in signing him. Without Barca/Real, that means whoever pays him the most will get him, easy as that. Who knows, maybe we are in for him aswell and just try to do it Ninja-Herrera style.

I wouldn't rule us out at all. The Media have no idea what we're up to, it's been obvious all Summer. They've not got a scoobies who we're after apart from Shaw.
