The deal isn't done yet. People, including myself, were told off the record that talks were very advanced at a fan Q&A meeting.
If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. Advocating a permanent ban when I, in jest, suggested a week off would be a suitable punishment, is really a little humourless.

It took you two weeks to post this information on here. Also I follow various Arsenal accounts(DarrenArsenal) and he retweeted some off the record comments and none of them mentioned Sanchez?

This was a later meeting that was linked to a private company event which involved some directors and former players and a drinks party.
It was all pretty boring and I'm aware that anything they said was said for a reason. They must have known it'd be leaked, so maybe they're bigging it up to appease the supporters.
The most interesting thing to come out of the 5th June was the fact that no-one at Arsenal appears to have any idea why we've been linked to Aurier when we all thought it had been done.
edit - would also add the Sanchez move was mentioned at the AST meeting in passing which led to it being brought up again.
For some reason this feels like the Fabregas situation last summer. I don't think Barca have any intention of selling him. Agent may just be trying to get a better deal for Sanchez.

When he was at Udinese I thought of him as a flashy winger who could dribble past players for fun and score some great goals. At Barca he seemed to have lost some of that flair but became way more efficient. He seems to have combined the two when playing for Chile and think he would be an asset for any top club.

To be fair, Arsene did say that Arsenal were working on some big signings, and as they didn't want Fabregas, then it's very possible that Sanchez has been identified as the number one target after Draxler turned them down.

I think we did bid for him when he was at Udinese but he chose Barca (surprise surprise)

And I'm not trying to be ITK here (apart from for a laugh) - it's quite common knowledge that we're at the very least after him and a big bid has gone in. The big Arsenal ITKs were onto this at the same time as everyone else.
I don't think we will go for hime all gun-ho like a big bid or something. We already have januzaji. If we sign depay fella, januzaji/depay/wellback/kagawa/Valencia and Tom Lawrence for few appearances here and there on the wings.

Not really. As far as I'm aware, there's only one great ITK in the world who exists and it so happens he's an Arsenal fan. I'm as cynical as the next man about ITKs on the internet but given this guy had Arsenal threatening legal action over his account, it seems legit. Oh, and the fact he gets everything right.

If Liverpool have to sell Suarez I wouldn't like them to get Sanchez +£50m. He's very difficult to replace but Sanchez is also very good.
I wouldn't care it still weakens them. When has Sanchez suddley turned into this amazing world beater. His a very good player like a lot of footballers.
