Start of this season he got a good few, he was well up the assists table
This season? Yeah he had 3 or 4. I'd still rather have Alexis, or Di Maria for that matter.

I like your term gracious.....as if Arsenal are a football charity trying to sign footballers down on their luck to keep him off the streets.
He doesn't deserve his current salary and on merit he absolutely doesn't deserve an increase I agree with you on that. However sense and merit don't exist in any of this. Sanchez doesn't deserve 300k a week, Jose doesn't yet deserve a contract extension etc..
He did not ask for a transfer so he is chancing his arm and I have no issue with him trying to play hard ball on that one and if he is not happy he can come back and sit in the stands till the summer.
He was a very bad man that LVG stopping ADM from putting any effort into his performances after his initial good start.
The only reliable bit I got was Raiola saying he proposed the idea 6 weeks ago. Can't really interpret to whom he proposed this idea. But with his United connections, I thought Us is more likely.Just bits and bobs on SkySports overnight.
What I disagree upon is players demanding a payrise just after failing.
of course Mkhitaryan is at Carrington, he is training lol. He is employed by the club
People bitching about Raiola make me laugh.
The bloke is literally calling this "The Mkhi Transfer". He's a right git, but he gets transfers done.
We should be fecking ecstatic that Raiola is pushing this hard to make it happen. If Mkhi pulled a Martial and said "no" straight away. This whole deal would be off. Raiola knows his player is not wanted at MUFC, however he+mkhi stand to make the most money NOW by making a deal happen. If Mkhi doesn't leave, Jose will make him nothing more than a rotational player with the odd euro appearance. Raiola knows arsenal want to save face.
He will get the best deal for himself and Mkhi and we will get sanchez. There is no going back.
In fairness it's easy to forget when he's played like absolute rubbish in the league.Although his performances haven’t been up to scratch, I can’t help but feel Mkhi has been treated poorly since joining us.
Sanchez is obviously an amazing player but some of our fans have been blinded by the “shiny new toy syndrome” and have forgotten Mkhi’s performances on the way to our only major European trophy since SAF.
I mean if Arsenal want Mkhitaryan and only Mkhitaryan for Sanchez, that puts a hole in your plans.I don't get why we should be ecstatic as you put it, that Raiola is at the heart of this. He complicates this more than anything due to his exorbitant fees. The simplest way of doing this is paying the money and put Mkhi up for sale. What would Mkhi and Raiola do then? It's not like Mkhi's got a lot of leverage, he can keep taking his money and not play, or he can leave.
Feel bad for him. He has to move, otherwise he's not getting a game for the next 6 months, but he doesn't want to move to arsenal
I for one support Mkhis stance of getting a payrise.
If he doesn't want to leave he shouldn't, even if it torpedos the Sanchez deal. You sign a player and you give him a contract. Live with it. That's life.
If you want to use him as bait then compensate him accordingly or at least ensure you get yourself a payrise Mkhi. If it's not acceptable then offer Arsenal more cash. If they don't want that then tough titties!
Mkhi has been shocking for us in the last few months especially. But from what I gather his attitude is not the problem and he's been a good professional.
I don't get why people keep saying Mkhi doesn't want to go to Arsenal. His agent said this is the Mkhi deal not the Sanchez deal and they suggested the deal themselves, not United, Sanchez or Arsenal. Further to that Mkhi has in the past expressed his love for Arsenal and Wenger in particular. So yes he'd want to go, he's just making sure he gets a good deal out of it.
Mkhitaryan could have gone there in 2016 but United will have offered more money.
Looks so forlorn.
Yeah I haven’t been a big admirer of his performances in the league either, just feel sorry for the guy.In fairness it's easy to forget when he's played like absolute rubbish in the league.

He got his dream move, got dropped and didn’t even get played the first few months. That would knock anyone’s confidence.
If you are using the PC, you can just hover over the green arrow in the redcafe main page for the particular thread.
I like Henrik and last year he played well for a period of time but in the end,
Mhki will be a loser in all of this if it doesn't happen.
You need to stop embarrassing yourself on this thread. Sanchez has 4 months left on his contract and it would make no sense for them to not take the money incase Micky decides to stay. Your comments on this post have been nothing but a mess.
Agreed, but Mkhitaryan was his own worst enemy this season. After his performances at the end of last season many thought that was the turning point for him and that he'd finally kick on. Sadly, he seemed to regress and his performances showed that despite some assists early on. I do wish he'd worked out though, seems a likeable bloke from his interviews and even though they're our rivals I do want him to well at Arsenal (to an extent).Yeah I haven’t been a big admirer of his performances in the league either, just feel sorry for the guy.

No he won't, he'll be a United player...he'll play his games, and it's up to him to recapture his form...
Tough, to be honest. We're contractually obligated to pay him for the next two and a half years of his current salary. If we're trying to push him out of the door, he's perfectly entitled to try and make that happen on terms that favour him.
Bernardo Silva has had a similar experience and we don’t hear anything
I agree, but importantly Mkhi doesn't think he failed. He likely thinks he has been let down, publically humiliated and badly managed by his manager. I don't agree with that but his agent definitely does.I think top players deserve top salaries. If clubs can make millions then so should players who works hard to the risk of getting injured, to make that happen. I also think that players are like foot soldiers. If purely managed they will fail. You can't possibly blame ADM for failing with us as most of our players underperformed under him.
What I disagree upon is players demanding a payrise just after failing. Arsenal are a top club, they are willing to offer the same terms we offered and will provide him the ideal platform for him to dust himself out from this unpleasant experience and shine. Asking a payrise from them stinks big time.
If I was an Arsenal fan I wouldn't want a player like him anywhere near to my club. Let him rot at that club. That what he deserves.
He doesn't?

Mkhitaryan: My favourite team is Arsenal
Via Uefa in 2009:
“My favourite team is Arsenal. I like their attacking play and fast style. Moreover, Arsène Wenger puts faith in young players while demanding results at the same time. I like that and want to play there one day.”
Mkhitaryan could have gone there in 2016 but United will have offered more money.
I am not referring to us but Arsenal. Lets give you an scenario
Lets assume we're in 2006 and Ferguson wants to bring Gravesen from Real Madrid. The guy had failed with them and United is simply a too good of an opportunity for him to lose. Real wants to sell, United want to buy and yet, Gravesen say no unless he gets a substantial salary increase. Would you still want the guy??
Really?!
And how many games you think he'll play ?
No he was Penelope Pitstop's fella in Wacky Races, wasn't he?Who is this Peter Principle you speak so highly of, is it Victoria's husband ?
A more expensive option too. Which is why the you could reasonably expect to get more money doing it in London vs Manchester.Tbf, most people would consider that an upgrade
I mean, it's not like he's come here and scored a dozen own goals. He's been an OK 6/7 typr of player most of the time, which would keep you gainfully employed at most jobs. Just not promoted very frequently. Doesn't mean you'd stop getting paid. And certainly doesn't mean you'd take the move to the North London office for freeIf I had a job and I under-performed for most of the duration, I wouldn't have a job, anymore.

Real wants to sell and they had made it quite obvious they don't want him there, United want to buy and are willing to offer same terms to the one he's got with Real and yet, Gravesen says no unless he gets a substantial salary increase. I drank.... a lot.All of those being bored and nervous, how the hell did you guys survive the Pogba transfer?!
