Alexis Sanchez | Done deal

It was an announced that a deal was agreed just before kick off. He was actually confirmed as a united player at about half past midnight, on Tuesday morning.
I wasn't following the conversation but I assumed she meant when United first announced the deal

From a moral point of view you don't get to remain at an elite club unless you do your job. That's why they pay you in the first place. Mkhitaryan should be courted by the likes of Everton or Palace by now. Instead he's being courted by Arsenal. He should be thanking his lucky stars for that. Instead he's asking for a payrise.
By that logic Di Maria should have looked to join Stoke after his spell with us.

There are good players all over Europe who can't find a decent club to play for. We have players who're trying to make a choice between two top European clubs an issue in their careers.

That is true but as much as it gets lost due to agent power, he still works for Mikhi. When you say put his foot down about the move it depends what you mean. If he said that he doesn't want to go to Arsenal and wants to stay and fight for his place I'd respect that. Just trying to leverage his self inflicted situation seems cringe worthy, not illegal and probably pretty smart but not respectable imo.

Not much more to be said to be honest. Just want to clarify that I don't think it's smart. He'd be better of having certain game time at Arsenal and i'm sure he'd do okay there. But yes, I get what you mean and I can agree. But fact is we don't know what are his motives or if in fact his wages are an issue at all.

Yup! What a moment that was

I remember it like it was yesterday. Someone on here posted a promo for the season a few minutes after that finished with Pogba showing up with Bruce Buffer announcing in the background. Great times.

Get in a room and sort it out. Could be done in a few hours and would benefit both players who could start training and be ready for the weekend.

Your agent tells you he can get you a payrise. You say:

a) "Sounds great!"

b) "Oh, I don't know Mino. I haven't been in great form lately."

Which idiot mentioned that....

Don't think a cash only deal for Sanchez is an option for United, it was Arsenal that wanted Mkhitaryan and have offered us Sanchez in a straight swap, United didn't go to Arsenal as was first reported and ask for Sanchez and be told give us Mkhitaryan and you can have him.

You need to stop embarrassing yourself on this thread. Sanchez has 4 months left on his contract and it would make no sense for them to not take the money incase Micky decides to stay. Your comments on this post have been nothing but a mess.

ADM was our best assist man that year so he wasn't a flop at all. He was being kicked out by a manager who made it a mission to provide the most tedious style of football since the catenaccio

But that's not the argument. If there's demand for Mkhitaryan then he should move to the better club. Having said that, he should be thanking his lucky stars for the opportunity given to him by Arsenal and not ask for a payrise instead.

That's completely hilarious and unrealistic though, you realise that? It just isn't close to real life.

Sleeping? He was announced like an hour before KO at Wembley.
Pogba was actually announced around midnight UK time cause the stormzy video was put up about a half a hour before that. I remember that night very clearly.

Hey, Mkhi was a big assist man for us last year also. I'd bet if you asked him his opinion of Jose's style and the defensive approach he wouldn't be glowing in his praise also.

Both players were excellent before they signed for us, it didn't work out and both ended up looking poor lost imitations of their previous selves.
ADM has gone on to reproduce his previous form and maybe Mkhi will do likewise.
We didn't tell ADM who he had to sign for our what level of club he now deserved and rightly Mkhi will think the same.

Can we not pay Arsenal 30m and loan Mkhi to them for the season, sell Mkhi and recoup our money in the summer?
It cuts out Raiola completely from this

This has officially gotten to the point where if it doesn't happen i'll forever have PTSD towards any drawn out saga, even outside of football.

@Nick7
You don't negotiate new deals or golden handshakes on a loan deal.
You're also relying on Mkhi not to kick up a fuss but you may as well play for Arsenal for 5 months than sit in our reserves?

Dragging out a bit too much for my liking now. I hope this is sorted at least before the Burnley game.

There is no 'we'. His fans raved about him while the rest said that his assists masked general poor performances, which eventually dried up leaving him no saving grace.

I've watched him for years, ever since he came to Dortmund. He's a complete coaster that falls to pieces when there's any sort of pressure being put on him. It's not our 'style' that forced him to be unable to carry the ball five meters without losing it, or fall down at the slightest of contact after one and a half year playing in this league. If you think that will suddenly change the moment he goes to Arsenal, you are in for a big surprise.

I guess there are fans and non fans and unless you do a Messe Lingard evolution (similar to Magicarp turning in to Gyarados) it's hard to make people switch camps. I'm actually for him leaving, I think his style of plays and his strengths are at odds with a Jose team setup, but don't think he's completely flopped - he's just had big expectations and been so so. A flop would be Falcao.

If he leaves tomorrow his stats will read 39 starts, 11 goals and 6 assists in all comps. Won the League cup and Europa Cup. Yes he didn't turn up in some crucial games but his overall contribution (especially in winning the EL) shouldn't be ignored when Mkhi is judged on his time here.

Chill bro
If he come he come if not we just continue with the current squad. Only repercussion will be for Mkhitaryan imo

Mkhitaryan would have to agree to a move, that involves Raiola.

Are we training at Carrington today?

If not, it's probably a good sign tbh.

ADM was good even with us up until LVG squeezed every ounce of happiness out of him and the rest of the team. Mkhitaryan never impressed.

As said its not about the club he joins. Its about asking for a payrise after failing to a club whose gracious enough to give him a second chance.
