What’s this I read about Lukaku confirming it on Snapchat? Was that true? Apparently he put a Chilean flag emoji with an arrow and a devil

None of that matters. These guys (journalists) have been waiting years to really stick the knife into Manchester United. A lack of success, coupled with us being managed by Mourinho and the darling of football managing city, is the perfect storm for them. It's funny because every single player and coach at City is a money grabber. They have no academy products nor ties to Manchester. It is an oil regime club. Everyone goes to City because of the money. They bought where they are, it is not on the club's own merit.
The media narrative that claims otherwise is deluded as feck!
If we do get Sanchez, as looks likely right now, it really does make so many of them look embarrassingly out of the loop. I mean even as recently as this morning they were all on Sunday Supplement saying he would go City.
That will probably be a big part of the resentment. They've been made to look clueless.

Top five (outfield) players in the league are probably de Bruyne, Kane, Pogba, Sanchez and Hazard.
Whatever it costs, on paper it's worth it.
God dammit, why was that showing Sanchez's tweet as from today?!
It’s not really Wenger though is it? He doesn’t own the club, nor does he have any power to stop the player from leaving for free in summer. Getting 30m odd for a player who would certainly end up at a rival in 6 months is a good piece of business. For the first time, I actually agree with the salty bastard.
I would explode if our manager sold our best players to a PL rival time after time like that.

In amongst all the excitement here, may I just ask a question?
In the hypothetical scenario that we do sign Sanchez and Ozil, where would Lingard, Rashford and Martial play or fit into things?
Surely people would not actually want them to not play??
Rashers would probably alternate with Martial (Probably on the wings too, if needs be) , Sanchez can play both Right and Left (R>L), Lukaku can spear head the attack. Ozil can do whatever he wants with that licence. In amongst all the excitement here, may I just ask a question?

Well I'd imagine Sanchez on the right, Ozil at no.10, Martial on the left. Lingard and Rashford would become backup/rotation.In amongst all the excitement here, may I just ask a question?

There was no reason to make that last sentence as confusing as it was.In amongst all the excitement here, may I just ask a question?

The last big piece of news was a highly regarded city journalist saying they'd pulled out of the deal. Are we really getting Alexis? Havn't read it all, but like everyone, probably, i thought he was City bound and we we're just a deflection for more money. What do you guys reckon the odds are now and what means this for OziL?

Nobody wants Rashford to be starting games at present. Football is also a squad game more than ever you need options.
Let’s just say he clearly needs a break. What?? Nobody wants Rashford to be starting games at present???
Why the heck not?? He is a young, exciting, excellent player, why would anyone in their right mind not want to see Rashford start?
More importantly he is one that we have developed, there is that connection with him and the fans, that is just soooo puzzling why anyone would not wish to see him in the team!

Neither ozil nor Sanchez will be signed to play where martial and rashford play. What?? Nobody wants Rashford to be starting games at present???

Sanchez will play behind the striker or on the right. We aren't signing him to play in a position where we're strong already. That'll give us more depth in the squad, I mean we have seen that Lingard show that he is okay with being rotation/squad player and Sanchez will take pressure off on Martial and Rashford and let them developing in few years and ready to take over Sanchez when showing a sign of decline and ensure there would be competition in this position. I don't want passengers in the first XI if there's no competition to challenge for a position. Plus, we can cover in attacking position if one of them get injured.

Because he's nowhere near good enough yet. I want to see him used to rotate in and out, be an impact player and develop normally. His current level is pretty far below someone who should expect a starting spot at a team like United. What?? Nobody wants Rashford to be starting games at present???

Imagine the conversation...
"Guys we've signed Sanchez! We've got a starting 11 with Pogba, Sanchez, Matic and Rom in it!"
"That's great...but one problem..."
"What?"
"Which one of them do we bench we ensure Marcus Rashford starts?"
"...erm"
Have you watched Rashford over this season...? We all want him to succeed here, but you can't be going for titles and CLs with Rashford starting games in this type of form.
There'll be plenty of opportunities for him off the bench (his best role), or if that doesn't suit him, a loan to somewhere like Southampton, Watford, Everton, West Ham would be a sweet deal for him.
José's given him plenty of game-time, but he's shown that he shouldn't be starting, not at this level. Not yet anyway.
So you think or believe that this form that you speak of, will be what he does for the rest of his career??
You don't just think that like every single other player, it is just that, a small patch that he will come out of the side, if anything better for it?
Wow, how quickly some people are to just chuck away and write off a player of immense talent!
The guy was if I am not mistaken third in the golden ball list of top young players, and people just want to see him not play??
Sorry, that for me is the totally wrong attitude to have here.
Us self employed don’t take MLK day as it’s only a bank holiday. Work as usual for me.Guess we are some lucky bastards here in the US, tomorrow is a Holiday, while transfer business resumes as usual in the UK. A whole day to indulge in muppetry
Who's writing him off? We aren't saying he should be sold, he just shouldn't start at the moment if he isn't playing at the level required. So you think or believe that this form that you speak of, will be what he does for the rest of his career??
