Hope this is done in the morning. Otherwise it’s going to be an unproductive day at the office. Good thing I’m self employed or I’d probably be unemployed.

Let's give Arse and extra £10m just for shits and giggles.

That'd still be £7m less than, honest to goodness, City paid for their last LB.

Top five (outfield) players in the league are probably de Bruyne, Kane, Pogba, Sanchez and Hazard.

Whatever it costs, on paper it's worth it.

You'd think that they've won everything and that they represent all that is good and just in this World.
While MUFC represent everything that is evil. It's as if Sanchez has defected to the dark side.

Where 4 years ago, when Moyes was in charge, we were the laughing stock and people would pity us.
Now, there is clearly fear that next season, MUFC may be back at the top.

The media would have been exploded if we batter everyone next season and winning the league for the first time since SAF retired, would they praise us? Hell, no, they would imply us as a villain and fear us that we may be back at the top and possible chance of dominance is so high because we're used to doing over nearly 30 years. More important, we are everyone's biggest rival, not City, they would hate us winning the league again rather than City.

I feel like I'm in the twilight zone or trapped in a genjutsu. Is Pep handing out candy to the press or something?

all of a sudden the evil red side of manchester aka money manchester has nothing to offer but more commas on a paycheck, and City are the bastion of hope and all that is right with football, and its just not one or two journalists going with that. some downright disrespectful stuff being written about one of the biggest clubs in the world

Salah has to be in there.

Probably D.Silva too.
I don’t think Salah has shown enough for him to be regarded as better than Pogba. He has already scored more in 20 apps for Liverpool this season than he did in 29 apps for Roma last season, in a much easier league, especially for wingers. I think he’s a very good player that has been in amazing form lately, but his true level is undoubtedly a notch below Pogba (who is arguably the weakest player in MG’s top 5) and he has to perform the way he’s doing now for more than half a season to get that stamp as a ‘world class’ player. Remember Papiss Demba Cisse? He scored around a goal a game for about half a season. It just shows that people can have purple patches for that long, and considering Salah’s statistics at Roma there’s good reason to believe that he’s not going to maintain his form throughout the season and in future seasons.
I’m not saying he isn’t good though. I think he’s a very good player and I’d love it if we had him. But he’s just not in that top 5 bracket imo.

Well played, Ed. The press would have you think we were destroying our wage structure to get him. He'll still be earning less than Pogba and eventually Dave. In fact, I'm fairly sure he's just taking Ibra's wages (assuming we're still paying him).

"Have to judge case individually though"

God I miss the days when everyone recognised goal.com as clickbait.
What a salty daft cnut.

So he basically says that Alexis should be a money-grabbing glory hunter, instead of just "money-grabber", because he decided to join one of the biggest clubs in the world, instead of joining a team that has basically already won a PL medal for him?

Wow I am loving at the hatred shoqn towards us. Even the arsenal fans don't want him to join us. This is bitter sweet.

Has anyone seen this yet? Be warned, the saltiness will completely dry your mouth out...

Also @Olly and @Code-CX
:lol::lol:
It's funny because every single player and coach at City is a money grabber. They have no academy products nor ties to Manchester. It is an oil regime club. Everyone goes to City because of the money. They bought where they are, it is not on the club's own merit.

The media narrative that claims otherwise is deluded as feck!

Guess we are some lucky bastards here in the US, tomorrow is a Holiday, while transfer business resumes as usual in the UK. A whole day to indulge in muppetry

 I forgot about him. So satisfying just thinking, imagining, even fantasizing about his reactions to it all.
It will get much better. When Piers sees the unveiling of Sanchez wearing our shirt, and hears about Sanchez's childhood dream of playing at Old Trafford, his rage will kick into overdrive and his Twitter will be popcorn-worthy.

Mental, been saying since last summer at that price United should be in for him. And here we are.
