I don't get this. Lacazette who scored 37 in 45 for a team placed 4th in Ligue 1 in average. Mbappe scored 26 in 44 for a side which placed 1st is so much better?

So according to Lequipe of Tomorrow, Lacazette could still join Atletico in January after a 6 month loan, Arsenal are after him and United abandoned Griezmann a few days ago and are looking at Lacazette.

Doesn't that basically disprove the rumour that Griezmann decided to stay because Atleti couldn't replace him? I wouldn't mind Lacazette here tbh, as long as we get some proper players around him.
Eleven of Lacazette's goals were on penalties so he had 26 non-penalty goals and 5 assists in his 3480 minutes. This is still pretty good, albeit in a relatively weak league.
But, in contrast, Mbappe had 26 non-penalty goals and 14 assists in 2633 minutes. And he did at 18-years-old. That is mindblowingly insane, weak league or not.

I watched a compilation and most of Mbappe's goals were tap ins. On the other hand Lacazette all looked like good finishes.

Yes please for Lacazette! Give us much needed pace and a reliable goalscorer who just turned 26, so is in his prime ages. Would partner Griezmann well if he does end up coming in a year as well. But for now, it's what we need. Hope there's some truth to it!
I'm all for this one. Young, prolific and the sort of player we need. Also, we'll be fecking over Atletico as well so even better.
