Not a bad guy (Whale Killer)
I hope we get one of either Alex or Hazard. I don't want both of them to go to Arsenal.
All right, get back to topic you gimps
What's the deal about this Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain? I'm told he's the next white Pele
Great advertisement for the caf: people with a reading age of 8 and others who can't add up.
However, it is acknowledged that the youngster's advisers are more in favour of him moving to Arsenal, given the club's reputation for the quality of their football as well as Wenger's ability to groom players into stars.
Yup, if that's genuine he needs to fire his advisors.I'm not really concerned with whether we sign him or not but Fergie surely has just as good if not better record with young players.
Ramsey knew that whoever you have playing in the middle would fcuk off once they come good for a season or two.And you guys think Ramsey joined Arsenal because it would be easier than getting past Gibson as a midfield starter?

yes, along with the breakup of Yugoslavia and global warmingI thought it was agreed the Ramsey thing was Gary Nevilles fault?
Weak? We are after buying someone who's father says is weak!Well if robust means strong, then "not the most robust" means....

He's as talented as hazard?
but is he left footed or right footed?
Sir Alex Ferguson on red alert over Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Sir Alex Ferguson is hoping to make it third time lucky in his hunt for Southampton sensation Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The United manager has seen targets Gareth Bale and Theo Walcott slip through his grasp at St Mary’s in the past and is determined not to be denied this time around.
He will get a close-up view of the highly-rated 17-year-old when United take on Southampton in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Ferguson is expected to confirm his interest then in the hope that he will fend off the challenges from Arsenal and Liverpool for the midfielder.
Arsene Wenger remains in the driving seat to sign the £10m-rated starlet.
He beat Ferguson to the punch when landing Walcott from Southampton in 2006 and Aaron Ramsey from Cardiff two years later.
Bale left Southampton for Tottenham in 2007, despite interest from United, and is currently one of the most highly sought-after players in Europe.
Ferguson exacted some revenge on Arsenal last January when convincing Chris Smalling to choose Old Trafford over the Emirates in a £10m deal from Fulham.
On that occasion Smalling was loaned back to Craven Cottage for the remainder of the season.
United will look to do something similar with Oxlade-Chamberlain – perhaps even allowing him to stay at Southampton beyond the summer.
The player is understood to prefer a move to Arsenal – but his future will be determined by who comes up with the highest offer. Southampton chairman Nicola Cortese is hoping to deal for a fee in excess of £10m, which could frighten off Arsenal.
But Ferguson has made it clear that he is willing to spend serious cash on emerging talent having increasingly become frustrated with inflated prices in the transfer market.
He was happy to spend £25m on the relatively unproven Smalling, Javier Hernandez and Bebe last year with the former two already paying dividends.
Saints set-up impresses Fergie
The 17-year-old is the most coveted young player in the country at present, with Arsenal said to be the front-runners in the chase for his signature.
However, with the Gunners failing to reach an agreement so far, Manchester United could make a move, with Ferguson getting a chance to assess the teenager's merits against his own side in the FA Cup at St Mary's Stadium tomorrow evening.
Ferguson is too experienced to get involved in discussion about that potential transfer. But he does acknowledge how well Southampton have done with their development of young players down the years.
"Alex Chamberlain is only young but he has potential," said Ferguson.
"Southampton have done very well bringing young players through over the years.
"He is another one along with Gareth Bale and Theo Walcott. Before that they had the Wallace brothers and Alan Shearer.
"They have been good at that. They have done a lot right."
Oxlade-Chamberlain will be one of the major threats to United's hopes of progressing into the fifth round.
Southampton are starting to re-establish themselves amongst the League One front-runners again after a turbulent campaign that involved the dismissal of Alan Pardew in August.
Nigel Adkins had an unenviable task steadying the ship at a club who have been mired in financial strife.
But Ferguson knows United must expect to overcome a tough test if they are to reach the last 16.
"Nigel Adkins is doing an excellent job," he said.
"To follow Alan Pardew was not easy.
"Alan is a really good manager and did a great job at Southampton. "They also had to cope with administration and relegation.
"But now they have a good opportunity to get back into the Championship and it looks as though they will do it.
"I went saw them at Oldham recently when they won 6-0, so I know it won't be an easy game."
He looks a fantastic talent. Really impressed today.
Agreed, has bags of potential. Agree with their chairman though, he should stay where he is for the season as least or his development could suffer.
