Fallen Muppet. Lest we never forget
Wheeler saying United will take £60 + add ons from chelsea
We truly didn't know how good we had itRemember when the biggest issues we had was that Nani keeps trying to beat his man (successfully), Valencias crosses are too hard and Carrick passes sideways and backwards too much?
It's an overexaggeration, but we should have a marked up fee when selling to rival PL clubs.Which is silly and totally unrealistic.
I’ve never seen a fan so desperate to sell a player beforeYeah, that is fine. Sell
Few are at the required level aged 20. He has his faults but he’s also shown some great things at such a young age. Gone appear to be the days when we give youngsters time. He’s a kid. He shouldn’t be starting so frequently for such a high profile dysfunctional side. In an ideal world he’s rotated in and out with more experienced players and the team doesn’t shit the bed on a weekly basis."Already done a lot in this league"
It's interesting that most of those who are bothered by this potential sale can't honestly say that they think he's a good football player.
Good fecking grief. How is there not a Premier League/rival tax here?Wheeler saying United will take £60 + add ons from chelsea
Which leads him to take stupid shots and not play as a team member.I think in terms of when they broke into the scene
Adnan had the best overall package, then Rashford, and finally Garnacho. Garnacho though has the best goal threat out of the three, he seems like he's actually really hungry to score every time.
But but 60 million plus add ons…Few are at the required level aged 20. He has his faults but he’s also shown some great things at such a young age. Nkunku, Mudryk, Chukwuemeka, Tyrique GeorgeJust joins the rotation crew with Neto, Felix, Manduke and probably 2 or 3 others I'm forgetting.
Januzaj may have been more technically gifted, but that's clearly only part of the equation. Garnacho has shown much much more for us, not even particularly close
No it's just sensible.I’ve never seen a fan so desperate to sell a player before
If we set our expectations after two of the dumbest deals in recent memory, we won’t make many sales.Good fecking grief. How is there not a Premier League/rival tax here?
We gave them £60 million for that waster, Mount, with a year left on his contract. Now we'll accept £60 million for a young talented winger with 3 or 4 year left on his deal.
The same winger is 4 years younger than Mudryk who they paid £80-100 million for and Garnacho already has more goals and assists than him in his career.
What is this club doing?
You've shown consistently that you're clueless, laugh away
He was also far more intelligent on the pitch. Then he wasn't a better player, was he? He was better technically, but that is just one important attribute.
It's irrelevant from each other, but you still can't ignore those numbers. Mudryk, a lesser known winger from the Ukraine for 89m (incl. addons) and Mount for 60m, while we gave them Sancho for cheap and now these greedy feckers want to hijack Garnacho, but only willing to pay 59m. It's unacceptable. If we set our expectations after two of the dumbest deals in recent memory, we won’t make many sales.
Mount being a terrible buy at 60m, doesn’t mean Garnacho is a terrible sale at the same price.

No it's not.The poster I was responding too claimed Januzaj was more effective, which is clearly untrue.
JokesNani is one of the mot overrated players of all time for United.
Even Rashford was handsdown better.
Nani playing upfront with Hojlund instead of rooney would have been hilarious to watch
A purple patch of one season masked by playing as a squad player in arguably one of the two best United teams of all time.
We must sell In order to bring 2-3 players. Given that nobody wants Casemiro, Rashford, Eriksen, Lindelof and the list goes on, he is the one player that can fetch a good amount.Good fecking grief. How is there not a Premier League/rival tax here?

Then United are stupid, Chelsea paid far more than that for Mudryk who had achieved a lot less in a weaker league. 100M should be the bare minimum we take from that mob.
Mudryk was £62 million but I hear your point. Then United are stupid, Chelsea paid far more than that for Mudryk who had achieved a lot less in a weaker league. 100M should be the bare minimum we take from that mob.
Obviously it is - what on earth are you rambling on aboutNo it's not.
Fairly irrelevant since we're short on actual money, but up to 300m if amortised over five yearsSo what will £60m translate to in terms of what we can spend without violating PSR?
feckton of boni (that he'll likely never reach) on top, right?Mudryk was £62 million but I hear your point.

He had less output, at least as inconsistent, but he was more technical - on the other hand, he was slower, weaker, worse workrate, less intensity to his game etc. So overall, he was indeed not a better player.
So next time we want to buy a player do we go back to how much we paid for Antony and then make sure we offer an additional 20m to be consistent?
Yeah, but those deals say nothing about Garnacho’s actual market value. Do you think the club is going to go: “Look, we overpaid for Mount, so you gotta cut us some slack here”? It doesn’t work like that. Look at each deal individually - does it enable us to move forward? It's irrelevant from each other, but you still can't ignore those numbers. That's got nothing to with it.The fact that teams who are currently better than us are trying to sign Garnacho for circa 60m, while Januzaj got shipped to Real Sociedad for 8.5m should tell you that he wasn't.
