Getting rid of this guy, Rashford and Sancho could bring in £100m. He's not all that, and believes in his own hype way too much.

Fair enough, he didn't deserve to be taken off over Hojlund but 1. He sulks off down the tunnel and 2. After an important win for us, he (or his dickhead brother) is straight on to Instagram posting sad face pics.

Another brat we've raised.

Poor. I believe he fully should have stayed on but it's shit like this that just makes me think he is not worth the hassle

He's young yes and will be impulsive but he has played a lot of games now and knows how things can play out in the media. It was deliberate and I am sure Amorim will want rid instead of extra drama needlessly

Yeah clearly sending a message by punishing the bad players.. Funny how half of the team and Casemiro manages to get minutes every single game include the goalkeeper..
Casemiro gets minutes every single game?

He's a trier but I'm not sure he is all that, problem is he thinks he already is.

I've seen people furious at the prospect of selling him and I understand both sides, but there's a serious discussion to be had I think. 60 or 70 million for a player with some petulance issues and that's more suited to counter attack football would be hard to ignore. You're balancing that on the bet of potential.

A winger who’s in the worst 2% for dribbling in the league? He’s never looked like a winger to me. He’s an inside forward who potentially could score a decent number of goals. Just has a lot to learn about decision making. Which will hopefully come with time.
Define him how you please, but he excels in wider areas affording him more space. Garnacho’s bread and butter is to play high and wide. Receive the ball in general buildup as close to the byline to afford himself space to come infield to shoot or make a final third pass. It’s why he ranks so highly on progressive carrying into the final third and into the penalty area. Garnacho’s natural game is to drift wide and then come back in.

That sort of playstyle doesn’t seem quite likely to mesh with what Amorim allegedly wants from his “inside no.10s”. I’m not convinced the manager sees him as someone who fits his system.

The team is struggling, workers are loosing their jobs and the mood in the club is as depressing as it can get. This was a great win to boost morale and bring some joy that hopefully can translate into results. It isn't a time to make about yourself. He's showing himself to be a selfish player. Sell him. Use the money to fill in other areas. We don't need players who care about themselves more than the team.

should have taken off hojlund before him but needs to cop himself off with the childish reaction. Watching the post match press conference I'd be surprised if he's not fined and dropped off the squad v Fulham on Sunday.

As Keane would put it. Baby. What a big baby. I understand he is unhappy being one who got sacrifaced but he needs to think about bigger picture before posting things.

Such a pain though with the squad so thin. He’s actually fecked us over big time, here.

I thought the new, mature Garnacho had taken himself off social media to concentrate on his football?

I was gutted he was taken off instead of Hojlund, but that reaction is completely unacceptable. Especially when his terrible decision making butchered a chance to make it 3-1 just a few minutes beforehand.

He was very unlucky to be subbed tonight over Hojilund. He was looking dangerous on that left side and is our current only top class attacking player (not counting Bruno as a forward). People should be careful being happy to get rid of him given the real lack of quality we have at our disposal and seemingly lack of money to bring quality in.

That’s strike number 2 by Garnacho since Ruben took over. If Ruben has been told we need to sell a player excluding the freedom fighters I think he’ll mention Garnacho

Very immature in his behaviour and his performances. I would go as far to say he’s not really ready for the first team and should be relegated to a bit part role in the cups until he matures but he’d probably throw a tantrum and leave, which means we’re probably going to have to sell him in the summer while his value is still relatively high.

He is done I’m afraid. I really wanted him to get his head down and work out, but he has been infected with the attitude problems of those horrendous senior players that now have their freedom.

He will be gone in the summer now too and can only blame himself. He had the chance to get his head down and prove people wrong, but he is a lost cause too.

I’m really looking forward to a United without players like these ones.

The club will move him and get ahead of the 200kpw wage demand his ego is trending to. I actually miss when our problematic 'stars' were real talents likes Pogba and Martial and I don't mean that as a compliment.

Crappy attitude, almost like Ronaldo during his last few months here. Time to get rid.

Kid is only 21. We just don't have the patience

125 games is patience my friend. We have kept players for far too long post Ferguson and seen their value plummet. We can’t afford to keep doing this when it’s clear his ceiling isn’t very high.
At 21 a player must be showing improvements in his game if he is going to be a top player.
Bellingham is 21, Palmer is 22, Yamal is 17. These guys are light years ahead of him as were Saka and Foden at his age.
Unfortunately Garnacho has had more than enough chances to showcase what he’s got and sadly he’s actually just not that good. His pace is decent but not exceptional, he’s not a very good dribbler, his finishing is appalling, he’s lazy, he still, after so many games can’t pick his head up at the right time… I understand players need time but this narrative that he’s ‘only 21’ so that’s a reason to keep him needs to stop. He won’t just wake up one day with bags of natural ability. If that was the case me, you or anybody else on here could too.

What does he mean by the Rashford reference? I feel like I'm missing something. In any event, it's really time for Garnacho to grow up. I wouldn't lose any sleep over selling him for 60+ in the summer.

Eh? The whole point of selling him would be to bring much needed funds in so we can bring more quality in.

Can our current recruitment team find more quality for £60 million than Garnacho offers? I should hope so, otherwise we really are fecked.

Should be sold as soon as we get a good bid for him. Not denying his talent but has these streaks of a rotten egg. With Amorim trying to build something, he needs group of players that work together, no matter what. Hoping Rashford, Sancho and Garnacho can be sold in the summer.

If Amorim stays I think he'll be sold. I personally didn't like the sub as I thought it was more a punishment than out of sound logic. Felt it was a very impulsive decision from Ruben after Garnacho's typical selfish act a couple of sequences before when he should have made an easy pass for one of our strikers but instead decided to go on his own and got tackled near the box.

This can’t be excused by age any more. It’s simply a stupid act. Why do we always have players like this?

Another one who thinks he's bigger than the club. Just sell him in the summer.
Ah yeah, sell the 1 player we have who is capable of running with the ball and tries to make things happen because he was unhappy at being subbed in the first half.

I get the disappointment of being subbed but reacting poorly to it is just stupid especially when team is down to 10 men. Players reacting to manager decisions giving media to make headlines have no place in the team. Has any players shown poor reactions in other teams? Can’t recall any for the amount of games I’ve watched this season, seems to be more of a utd syndrome for the past 4 seasons atleast

Rashford not acknowledging RA after he was subbed off in his last game against Viktoria Plzen. Was highlighted at the time as a lack of respect and he didn’t get in another squad after that.

Ah ok.

Amad is better at both of those things. It’s also possible that £60 million might get us a player who can also do those things. And they might even be able to finish or pass to team mates.

Glad his self awareness is getting better, he knows he stunk up the place when he was on

All he had to do was not to click "Post". What is he getting out this? I doubt it will increase his value or fix anything. It makes things worse for both him and the club all in 10 seconds of him making that post.

Can someone please explain me the exchange between Ruben and the journalist in the post match presser about Garnacho and why Rashford was mentioned?

I think he made the right decision there. Both our strikers are horribly off form at the moment and the space opened up. Garnacho has more goals than either of the others this season. He probably thought, rightfully, he was the better option.

Does anyone actually trust him with the ball?
He seems quick and dangerous.
The moment he gets free with the ball in his feet, I 95% expect a bad decision. Tame/wide shot, underhit/overhit cross. Getting blocked all the time also.

Aaron Lennon of our own. He should shut up
on social media and work to improve. Seems the ego is more than the ability.
