Where else pays more than United? If he wants £200k a week then maybe PSG will give it him? He'll have to do a lot more to get that from here though. Also, there's no guarantee he'll even 'make' it from here yet. Still got a lot to do and he's at the best place to do it, he knows that otherwise he'd have stayed at Atleti.
It's not just about a salary, he might get a bigger signing bonus elsewhere, there all sorts of different incentives, I think he will sign and stay but in todays game you'd be deluded to think it was guaranteed to happen

we spunked 160 million or something on Antony and Sancho and this lad is better than both of them
Yes!
Real argument for him to start games ahead of both.
Seems like ETH doesn’t worry too much about what players cost, but Antony is his signing so…..

Such an exciting player but has end product too. So impressive for his age, he will be world class if he keeps this up

What does it mean that Garnacho is "raw" player? This is being mentioned here quite a lot. To me a "raw" player is someone who has the skills and athletism but doesn't know how to use it effectively. That's clearly not something going on for Garnacho. His contribution per 90' is fantastic so far.

Probably meaning footballing maturity. He's very exciting for sure and it's great to always make defenders second guess when he takes it on the outside/touchline. His stats speak for itself but if there is any criticism (however harsh), he does have a tendency to maybe over dribble and go for the take-on due to his enthusiasm.

There was one play where he tried to take one of the centre backs on AND with Walker covering behind him on a promising break, where he could have just stopped and perhaps played a pass/cross for Rashford, who was in the centre. He's done this quite a few times in several games. It's a bit like when Greenwood was so successful with his shooting when he first came into the squad and then overindulged in it.

It's fine line though because you don't want him doing an Antony, which is basically forgo all the space on the outside and instead prefer to cut in/recycle possession. Yet if he continues with let's say his 'high risk' dribbling but backs it up with the assists and goal, then you'll say he'll have matured his style etc or something to that effect.

He's nailed on to stay, he left Atletico for this, he's not going to go and do it again somewhere else for a laugh. If we can guarantee him first team football as long as he earns it he'll stay. I'm not saying Madrid won't come knocking at some point but it won't be at the end of this contract.

People need to let the Madrid thing go and seek therapy. If he wants to go at some point, he goes. All we need to do is enjoy his good play and enjoy watching his development.

He has everything. Defenders have no idea which way he is going. Reminds me of Ribery.

I was thinking of a player he reminded of the other day, couldn't find an answer and left that thought behind. Ribery is actually a fantastic shout.

So many wingers nowdays cut inside all of the time. This lad keeps the fullback guessing because he can cut inside and go on the outside to get a cross in. Hope we can tie him down to a long contract.

If he continues as he is someone might very well come knocking, it's happened before and will happen again, until he signs on the dotted line there's no guarantee

They think they are being original even though a dozen tossers say it every time one of our lads is playing well and we've heard it a hundred times or more. Your sentiment is correct.

Love this guy! What a player he is and he gets people of their seats. Most impressive thing about him is that he’s got end product. He’s contributing in the final 3rd which is what we need. Does a lot more then what the likes of Elanga does. We need to keep him happy though and give him plenty of game time or I’m worried he may look elsewhere.

Need to get him signed up to a new contract. Top priority.

Don't think it's any disrespect. Januzaj had the potential to be a massively good player, just attitude let him down.
It's not, Januzaj looked a hot prospect and had some good games but he took a nosedive of epic proportions. Garnacho looks to have more to his game, he looks the clever and more dangerous player.

I love how two footed he is! Always dangerous and now showing a lot of end product. The future is looking bright!

He's so exciting to watch! His decision making seems very good as well, obviously a couple of times in the city game he made the wrong choice, but he's young, his work for our winner was fantastic. He seems to have a lot more to his game than "just" being a page merchant.

The worry for me is I can almost see a mirror image of the young Ronaldo situation - we get him for a couple of years at most then RM come calling and he's gone. Especially as I'm sure I read somewhere he was born in Madrid.

I don't know how we can become the "sexy" option for these sorts of players - RM don't come and take players from City for example. Even Liverpool you never saw Salah being linked with them.

When is his current contract until? Hopefully his getting regular involvement helps him commit to us, getting CL would help too.

The way he checked his run in the buildup to the winner was brilliant to see. Such a clever player. And absolutely a reason why we shouldn't be signing anyone for that wide left position.
