By playing so wide it really opened City up and gave us a foothold in the game. Scary to think he’s just 18 and was a playing U18’s a few months ago!
 
A really exciting youth. With Rashford potentially turns into a striker, that LW is up for grab.
 
How many times can we come on the CAF after the game and call this kid a star in the making? Pace, directness, bravery, quality. He has everything you need to succeed as a winger at Old Trafford.
 
Incredible talent, so direct and dangerous. His quick vision makes him so good. I'd do everything to keep him

He’s so good at that — he plays so wide because he knows 1. He’s fast enough to get in field so quickly, and 2. His first touch is phenomenal. He basically wants the ball given to him right on the touchline, get the fullback exposed high and wide, and blitz him on the turn.

PL football is so difficult. Even elite players need at least a season to adapt, more if there's been a change of manager, or their team-mates are rubbish.

If this really was the case then why was he in Atletico's youth team and not Real's?!

And if he wanted to play in La Liga then why did he leave Atletico for Utd?

As people have mentioned, Real also already have Vinicius in his position.

He's a sensational talent though, it's a joy to watch him play already.
 
He is a young, two footed version of Giggs. He seems to breeze past players and is absolutely fearless. What we hoped Antony would be.

Just get him signed up on a long term deal and hope he doesn't go fecking about with others' wives.
 
we spunked 160 million or something on Antony and Sancho and this lad is better than both of them
 
Viva Garnacho.

Really impressed by how he mixes it up. I always thought he was a bit too predictable when I'd seen him in the academy but he's added a lot to his game this season. That turn was majestic.
 
What's his contract sithation? We need to get it sorted.

That's not a certainty, depends what he actually wants, he may want the big money sooner rather than later, I think he will sign but don't 100% bank on it

Where else pays more than United? If he wants £200k a week then maybe PSG will give it him? He'll have to do a lot more to get that from here though. Also, there's no guarantee he'll even 'make' it from here yet. Still got a lot to do and he's at the best place to do it, he knows that otherwise he'd have stayed at Atleti.
 
Changed the game for me. Such a direct and massive threat everytime hes on the ball . such an exciting player.
Sell sancho. Keep Garnacho. Hes going no where.
 
He has everything. Defenders have no idea which way he is going. Reminds me of Ribery.
 
Thought he would make a difference if he came on and the lad did not disappoint us! Getting better he is. Let's hope he keeps on working hard.
 
Such a talent, he needs a 5 year + deal at this point with options to add an extra two such is his talent.

He will give whoever is on the left a fight for a starting spot every game.
 
Love this kid, he's so direct and skilful. Only 18 so he's only going to improve further.

Genuinely exciting times ahead with ten Hag who really knows how to develop talent.
 
Why has the contract not been signed yet? Needs to be made absolute priority. We cannot let this drag on. We have another special talent on our hands.

uhh... why would he leave for Atletico when he left them for us? All we need to worry about is Madrid coming to knock but with new owners who are willing to invest, I'm not worried.
 
What I like about his game is he plays things pretty simply really. Is the odd step over but no crazy tricks, show boating or trying the outlandish.

He plays a lot of simple passes but when there is the opportunity to go forward he is very direct and uses his body movement to put the defender off balance.

Although he is a very raw player at the moment, his matury for his age is really good, a great example of that was his bending run to stay on side at the start of the move that produced the winning goal

Think Ten hag is using him very well too, mainly from the bench at the moment. I'm happy with the attacking options we have and youngsrers still out on loan, feel a little sorry for Pellestri as think he can be a player too.

What does it mean that Garnacho is "raw" player? This is being mentioned here quite a lot. To me a "raw" player is someone who has the skills and athletism but doesn't know how to use it effectively. That's clearly not something going on for Garnacho. His contribution per 90' is fantastic so far.
 
He’s brilliant. Crazy that he’s only 18. Looks so accomplished already.

Not sure how we’d stop him going to Real or Barca if (and likely when) they come calling but hopefully he stays.
