Adnan Januzaj

They might not be on top form, but they haven't physically declined. It would be men against boys with Januzaj - they are two of the most athletic in the League. If they are lacking at the minute, Valencia and Nani have the best tools presently to exploit it I think.

You may have a point there. And in fact bringing Januzaj on at the end when they're tired from chasing Valencia and Nani around for an hour might be a good way to maximise his impact.

I fully trust Moyes to play it when it's the right time. He has used him perfectly well so far and also for the right games. Give him the time he needs and it might also help to take him off the spotlight a bit.

I was wondering if anyone had suggested this as a chant for Januzaj yet?

This is Rangers fans singing it for Jean Claude Darcheville, but it would fit like "Ad-nan Januzaj na-na na-na na-na."

It's simple and it's catchy.

There's the Bowie one.. and then there's a new one i've heard at the last couple of away games.

I want to tell you,
I might as well do,
About a boy who can do anything,
His name is Adnan,
He comes from Belgium,
Januzaj! Januzaj! Januzaj!

to the tune of:

I think the lyrics need work but it definitely has potential.

Definitely think it should be nani / evra on the left today.

Although walker can be brain dead his pace and strength are hard to match, if Januzaj had problems against theophile it will only be worse tomorrow.

Is this you Red_Jamie? You have a wonderful voice.

Although he did manage to break football for those 2 weeks following the Sunderland game.

I expect him to be involved against Everton. He has been taken away from the spotlight, so I think it's a good chance to throw him back in at home.

Is this a 'look how much this country loves you! Play for England' thing?

Because how else could he be nominated for that?

To be honest, my initial reaction was WTF, but when you think about it, he's made some of the biggest waves in British football this year. He sparked national debate, he burst onto the scene spectacularly.

He's probably our most talked about along with Rooney.

It's an award for sports personality isn't it? Not impact on football, hence the reaction

Well I thought they were similar things, in real terms. And football of course, is a sport. But yea, it isn't a player of the year award, Adnan won't win that. But for Sports Personality - he has had a bigger impact on the game than say, Aaron Ramsey, who may win player of the year but not a personality as such. Everyone wants a piece of Adnan.

At least that's the way I see it.

I suppose I'm a bit literal, so your way of thinking may be correct, but I just thought 'personality', how much do I know of Adnan's personality? feck all. Give it to Ando I say! Here we go, from Wikipedia....

for the sportsperson judged by the public to have achieved the most that year
Turn's out you are spot on, strange title for the award IMO

I like the fact he's always looking to go forward and take people on, he's not scared at all. I know we shouldn't be putting too much pressure on the kid but he's one of the few players we have who seems to make anything happen offensively.

better let the young players play now. no point of playing valencia, fellaini, etc.

call powell and lingard back, and play januzaj and zaha. front six of

zaha----carrick---powell---januzaj
--------rooney---persie----------

with lingard given some playing time as well, rotate him with januzaj and zaha. and powell could not be any worse than fellaini in CM.

not going to happen though. i know.

He's the only one near RVP on a technical level. Until we get more players with his technique and ability the better.

Not even technically, need more players not shit scared to make something happen. Too many shrinking violets at United

Yeah I agree, that's why I think we need more of him and Nani in the team, they will try to make something happen and that's why at times Giggs is still the better option over clev/fellaini etc because he'll try something. I still think we need to get the former in the team more, preferably until RVP is fully fit with kagawa as I think they could give us an extra dimension but in fairness Valencia has in general been doing well, playing 3 of those guys consistently for me would give us more than using someone like Welbeck atm imo.

Has his new chant been put in here? I know he already has hundreds but this is sung in Stretty tier 2 now. To th tune of ooh wakka doo wakka day (look it up):

I want to tell you
I might as well do
About a boy that can do anything,
He's a Belgian,
His name is Adnan
Januzaj Januzaj Januzaj.

Seemed pretty decent and could be the best one yet.
