Adnan Januzaj

How do you get a Costco card?

For individual membership you need to work in specific occupations. The question being, is Adnan an accountant? A dentist? We knew he was versatile and a special talent but this is something else

If he plays from the left at the weekend Sagna will be his toughest opponent yet. Sagna's in good form and he won't afford Januzaj the sort of space he's had against some of the teams he's faced. I'm looking forward to seeing how he does.

I'd love to see Januzaj start vs Arsenal. It would show a lot of faith in him from Moyes.

I'm thinking the front 4 will be Januzaj, Valencia, Rooney and van Persie. With Kagawa a very tasty sub option.

I also think that Moyes will go with the "safe" option of Valencia but I am not sure he'll throw in Januzaj just yet. Lets see

Dude, they are Albanian players, with Albanian parents, who speak Albanian at home and visit their relatives every summer. In many cases they were forced to leave their homes due to the war, so it's not like they left out of volition. And they have probably experienced some level of racism growing up, which probably has left some scars. Ok, now they're big players and adored, but I'm pretty it hasn't been a walk in the park.

I would be ok with Januzaj choosing Belgium or Albania because at the end of the day how one feels about nationality is a very personal question. But please don't try to make it like choosing one nation over seems like such a clear cut choice. He'd be more successful with Belgium, but he won't win the World Cup with Belgium so success is relative.

The example of the Icelandic player US misses the point. I mean US would wipe the floor with Iceland for example; to suggest that he chose USA because it's easier to break in the US team vs Iceland seems wishful thinking.

Shows what you know. USA don't have attackers. They've got Altidore. That's it. We've got Alfreð Finnbogason and Kolbeinn Sigþórsson. And we generally play with one striker. Aron would have been 3rd in line because he's not as good as they are and he's not much younger.

You assume that they have scars. You assume that they go back to Albania every summer. I'm sure in most, if not all the cases, they left because of war. Fact is that all of them played for a youth team that isn't Albania. Fact is no one has asked to play for Albania. You don't think Shaqiri could have played for Albania if he wanted to? You don't think Xhaka could? Of course they could. But they didn't. They chose the country they grew up in and know best which also happens to be the better footballing nation.

I don't see why you thought I was making out the decision to be clear cut. What I was getting at is that it makes perfect sense that all of them chose Switzerland.

We might not know what country he'll end up playing for, but I just saw him shopping Costco, with his family.

What the hell is he doing shopping to there? Does he not realise that he can afford to go to the likes of waitrose now.

I think he'll start both. Width and directness are important qualities against Arsenal, so Valencia will be a good option.

Januzaj not featuring in midweek gave me the impression he was being readied for the Gooners.

I think he plays on Sunday on the left, and on the right, the safer option that is Valencia.I would like him on the right with Kagawa left and Rooney and Rvp centrally but that aint happening.

I think he has to play. You can't have a plan for something or someone you know little or nothing about and they'll struggle with him I reckon. You can plan all day for Tony V and perhaps Nani also, but for the time being this lad is a hanfful and he could be our ace.

Personally think he should be an impact sub at the 60th min mark.

Somebody like him to come on when the game is tight ,can swing the momentum in our favour.

If we had in form options to start if agree, but we don't. And he's simply performing too well to not start with him right now IMO.

Agree completely with the first part. I'd like to see him and Kagawa start right and left respectively but it will be Januzaj and Valencia.

Adnan,
He's Albanian,
He'll sell out your stadium,
And he'll score just like Cole and Yorke.

I'm not too worried about that particular face off. Reason is that Januzaj will keep drifting infield. If he drags Sagna in too, Evra will have a field day :)

Januzaj could be, if nothing else, an effective decoy. I suspect if he plays given his form in recent weeks that Arsenal will be tempted to dispatch two players to keep an eye on him at all times. Possibly freeing space for someone else.

Don't see the negative in starting him against Arsenal. A) he smashes it and confirms he's going to be a big talent B) plays poorly and helps Adnan realise still some work to do and forces him to work on his weaknesses.

For the record I didn't think that chant up but some bloke put it on twitter and it got a few hundred retweets. I think it's better than the shite we've heard so far and actually works with the song.

He has to play against arsenal. He's been amongst our best players this season. So far nothing has suggested he won't be able to handle the occasion and his defensive work has been far from poor. Anyways leaving him out for a 'safer' option would be the wrong way to go about it. We're home and should be going for the win.

He simply has to start. We need him for this one.

Definitely something Arse haven't faced when playing us, he really will not be fazed by them
That too. But simply in terms of us needing what he brings or has brought to the table so far. I can't think of a single reason to start Nani or Valencia or Kagawa who have all been decent this season ahead of Januzaj who has almost been the best player on the pitch every time he has played. We need to field our strongest team, not our oldest or most experienced.

I'm convinced he will play after being left out in San Sebastian. He offers something completely different to the others. Difficult to predict who the other winger will be though, probably not Kagawa but one of Nani or Valencia.

"US has no attackers", but Altidore, Donovan, Dempsey, Eddie Johnson are still better than Shittonsson and Crapasson. And US will go to the 7th consecutive World Cup, whereas Iceland has never been.

I think I have explained this quite a few times. Shaqiri was never called from Albanian FA while Xhaka has been asked to give 40k EURO in order to get the passport and be eligible to play for them. Both have stated that they will be willing to play for Kosovo in case it gets accepted.
