My bad. I was thinking about another player. One good season, one bad. Plus, the wiki didn't put his goals tally for the Italian Cup and UEFA Cup that they were in to the Final. And if you count international status, he's one of Germany regular strikers.

And of course, it's not all about Goals in Serie A, as it means that George Weah is a mediocre striker, too.

He did struggle with the Italian game and he didn't have the good time he had in Arsenal, but I remember seeing him and saying he has huge class and he will be brilliant, and he still has a not so bad record of 11 goals in 52 games which isn't that bad for a second striker, especially when those years Inter weren't amazing to say the least, but you could still see his class and with VB I'm sure it equals plenty of goals.

I know this is something we can debate/discuss when all the teams are chosen and the matches are drawn out, but is anyone else wondering if this is a Serie A 1990s Draft or a "Good-Player-Who-Happened-To-Play-A-Few-Games-In-Italy-During-The-1990s" Draft?

I am concerned that some voters will be swayed by the bigger names who (arguably) weren't in their prime when they played in Italy in the decade/didn't play that long in the league, over some players who spent all or the majority of their careers in the league during the timeframe. So, will it be cameo > longevity? Potential > prime? It could prove vital when the voting comes around.
