I’m nursing some Evan Williams Bottled in Bond at the moment.

I’ve got some Sierra Nevada Celebration IPA in the fridge if things go good
I’ve a redbreast 15 year to polish off, and some Woodford double oak I can open. We actually have an obscene amount of liquor in our house right now so limiting it to that unless things go south

Who was the guy back in 2020 that had the 25yr scotch? Was that you?

BBC saying exit poll information starts rolling in at around 10pm Uk time? Not result predictions but data on things like demographics? Anyone with insight on those and what we should be looking for?

He lost in 2020, Roe vs Wade was overturned since. Without even considering all his other shite the last four years, that alone enough to know he's going to do worse in this one. Seeing the women turn out has solidified it for me.

We want the Female participation to be higher than 2020 and we want college educated to be up too.

It's 5am here, I'm doom scrolling already. The nauseous feeling is starting. Please don't feck this up Americans.

Basically, this year I will believe nothing until results are posted.

Trump will need to see high turn out of men across the demographics to have a chance in contested states. If you were to simplify, this election really is men v women in every sense.

I have some Blanton’s and some Booker’s for a different day (got wrestling practice tomorrow morning before school) if it all goes really well.

I’ve not touched the Blanton’s since we won our region last year.

A first world like USA, still relying on signatures? What happened to fingerprints? My drivers signature is not even close to my actual signature.

Yeah very weird. I had to sign my passport recently and I haven't signed anything since my driver's licence renewed a few years back. Never use it for anything anymore, could hardly even remember it.

Heard it won't be until 11AM tomorrow until we know who's winning this.

We rely on signatures here in the UK for postal votes. I’ve managed elections and I’ve had to reject signatures before because they don’t match. We always write out to people and it has to be quite different for it to be rejected.

Uhm.... like I'm not into conspiracies and shit, but I'm not positive that is Melania walking around with Trump today.

I got a letter in the mail that my signature didn't match. I had to email them a new signature.
Heard of this happening a lot this time around. Not blaming the clerks because they have basically been instructed to more heavily scrutinize but at the same time it's a silly system. How many people actually sign their name the exact same way every time? Or what about people who change it if they get married and simply haven't updated it yet on their DL or other ID? It all feels very third world to me sometimes.
