That’s an actual drink in Spain. It’s called Calimocho. Equal parts coke and red wine. It’s mainly popular with young people.
I was just at a wedding in spain this summer and my wife got hammered on red wine and Fanta lemon, that was the most popular drink there. She said it was delicious

I bookmarked it.
I sent the below to some friends earlier. It’s not exhaustive and I might be missing some things but this is what I’ll be keeping an eye on

Arizona: Maricopa County and I guess also Pima County.

Nevada: Clark County mail in ballots will decide this

North Carolina: Mecklenburg we want big numbers. Wake county important too. And keep an eye on Cabarrrus County. Trump will win but Anything above 45 for her there is a good sign. Lastly Nash county flipped to Biden in 2020 and has an important congressional race too. Hopefully the republican candidate for governor is so bad people stay home rather than vote for him

PA: Erie county swings constantly so could be telling. Biden won it in 2020, Trump in 2016. Northampton county usually votes for the winner. Lackawanna used to be a safe bet (+28 in 2012) but both Clinton and Biden only won it by single digits (Biden +8, Clinton +3).

Georgia: Forsyth, Fulton, Cobb, Gwinnett, and de Kalb are key. Keep an eye on Oconee too. Trump will win but will be hoping to double her tally. Anything over half of Trump’s total, or one third of the vote, there is good news for Harris

Michigan: Saginaw county. Trump won it by less than 1,000 in 2016, Biden by 303 in 2020. And Detroit: She’ll want to run up big in Wayne county (won 68% in 2020) Oakland (56%) and be competitive in Macomb (anything over 47% is really good there looking at 2020). Wayne county has a high Arabic population so Gaza could be significant.

Wisconsin: Ozaukee and Waukesha she’ll lose both but will be looking to get into the low 40s in both. She needs to blow him out in Dane.

Circling back, I know someone who puts Diet Coke in red wine, please tell me you’re not doing that?

In spain is wildly known half coca cola and hald cheap red wine. Called Kalimotxo. And is good

I’m nursing some Evan Williams Bottled in Bond at the moment.

I’ve got some Sierra Nevada Celebration IPA in the fridge if things go good

The Spanish know food and drink. Some of these combinations sound iffy at best, but if they are doing it, it’s probably pretty good. As a Brit, I’ve learned it’s pretty folly to turn your nose up at Spanish and Italian cuisine/beverages. They are light years ahead of us.

Think it’s called a tinto de verano

Is not. Tinto de verano is red wine and gaseosa that is a carbonated soft drink a bit sweeter than soda club. Never heard of wine + fanta lemon but might be good

It helps that a litter of cheap and not as bad wine can be purchased by 1-2 euros. so you are not afraid to waste too much money in experiments

Apologies if wrong, I just googled and found several sites saying this

Tapas are the great enabler when it comes to experimenting and trying new foods too.

Something is wrong with Charlie Kirk's face, many people are telling me.

Well I'm no longer worried about the vote. I'm expecting Trump to get massacred. Just a bit worried about what shenanigans they have prepared.

Jill Stein seemed to have participated in this election just for lolz

Pro Israel + Pro Russia is certainly an...opinion. Reminds me of this Chinese meme (from a pro-china viewpoint of course).

From the Guardian Liveblog -

Leona Green, an organizer with the Milwaukee grassroots group BLOC — Black Leaders Organizing Communities — has been knocking doors since 8 am.

“During early voting, it was lovely — the line was majority young and first time voters,” said Green.

But she’s been frustrated to hear from men on Election Day who “feel like a woman can’t handle it.”

“I’m getting that from a lot of males, and it’s just crazy,” said Green. “They think that women are too emotional, can’t make decisions. It’s shocking.”

Still, Green says she thinks young and women voters will outweigh the “old school” views of certain men she’s encountered while canvassing.

“I’m claiming it,” she said.

Ffs, have these idiots ever listened to Trump,?!

The worst posts are the ones that state a hunch / opinion as if news has just dropped, getting my hopes up
