If it isn't then it will have the opposite effect of being perceived as a last gasp hail marry drummed up by desperados on the left to help their guy win delegates, and will gain Biden sympathy of being the victim of a last gasp smear campaign. Just look at the last minute laundry list of accusers Trump faced in late 2016 - it wound up helping him.

With a allegation as serious as this - former staffer who worked for Biden and who also has two people who say they remember her telling them the day the allegation happened. Of course the Biden campaign should be suspended, not indefinitely but for some time period. At the moment both Biden and the DNC are just ignoring it.

I don't think an accusation is enough to suspend a campaign. If it gets found that he did that, then not only he should cancel the campaign but get persecuted. Until then, I don't think much should change.

It happened in 1993, I'm guessing it's impossible to prove now. It will be her word against his. Unless the police get involved which is doubtful, the next best thing would be the DNC suspending the Biden campaign until it comes to it's own decision about how to move forward.
