yes, the money he gets in a lot of cases isn't extra cash left over after becoming a company resident in the cayman islands. for a good number of his donors, a biden presidency won't improve their lives compared to trump; for those who ration insuin they die either way. so if the path is shut, i think he should quit.

e - i guess the wildcard is biden's health.

At the start of the race I thought the Democratic base would elect it's own version of Trump. So a empty shell of a human being appealing empty progressive signifiers but it turns out they are just electing a old racist lying white dude.
 
A bunch of Warren staffers are getting their IDs tattoed onto their arms. The location and style of the tatoo is somewhat similar to Nazi tattoes on Jewish prisoners. Bernie has spoken of growing up in a Jewish area and seeing these, and how that motivated his politics.

I don't have much to say about the tattoes themselves, it's probably insensitive but not the end of the world. My problem is with the (non) reaction to it. If Bernie supporters (let alone staffers) pulled off something similar aimed at something so serious that Warren called foundational to her life, there would be articles and news segments about dude bros. But since the entire industry of Bernie bro reporting is just spin against one candidate, there's nothing.

Is Joe Biden perfect? No.
Is a Joe Biden presidency better than a Donald Trump presidency? Of. F*cking. Course.

That should be all this is about. Trump is an existential thread to the United States. As in - if he is vindicated in what he has done in the last 4 years, the United States could cease to exist as we know it today.
The number one indicator of economic success over the past century is strength of institutions. Trump and the GOP are a wrecking ball to those institutions.

If I were American, I would vote for a upside down mop wearing glasses if it meant getting Trump and his cronies out of office. Barr out of the DoJ. Kids out of cages.

But instead liberals will fight about how Biden's platform (which btw is the most progressive for absolutely years) isn't progressive enough, so dammit the systems broke and I'll show everyone how disenfranchised I am by not voting and then we get Trump but I always said Bernie would have won but oh yeah my country is f*cked but it's not my fault.
 
They are going to have egg on their face once the results come in. Biden will win Michigan by double digits.

The worry I have is that if Bernie loses tonight it will just cause people to donate more(Happened after Super Tuesday)in a desperate attempt to change the course of the race but as you said Bernie donors aren't rich and will need the money that they are donating.

Ah didn't know about upcoming the debate although I'm not sure how many people will tune in if Biden wins tonight. Also Biden would have to really bomb on the debate stage for it to really matter, the sad fact is we've lost the argument and are now hoping everyone notices the other is senile.

Realistically the debate cancelled then? It'd be really weird to do it without an audience after (as far as I recall) they've all been in front of one thus far.

There have been a few VP debates without audiences IIRC. It would probably cause the candidates to be a bit more candid since they couldn't pander to applause.
