Don't know why you should half joke about it, never liked collages and free or not, feck them
Yeah as someone who never went to collage(Well University over here in the UK)I'm partly very bitter but also I do think it turns people into middle management types. Not a great outcome for socialists.

They’ve also been shilling hard for Harris. Just look at the likes of Harry’s Enten and the CNN posse who have been talking her up from day one. I also doubt Biden will go into debate two with his shields down after what happened last month. Harris will no doubt try to pull another zinger on him since he continues to beat her among black voters, and she knows she has zero chance if he continues to dominate her on her own demographic.

He just unveiled his criminal justice program whose intention will be to reduce incarceration of black community which will help a lot.

Beto hasn't got a clue what he is doing. While everyone is obsessed over the Mueller testimony, he decides now is a good time to publish this policy.

Why on earth would you release this today when you know its not going to get any focus or airtime.

He's probably releasing it because it won't get any focus

It wouldn’t matter much since the policy wouldn’t receive much in the way of scrutiny until it’s been out a few weeks. He’s probably releasing now because the debate is next week and he will want to talk about having released something on education.

A key point of these policy proposals is getting airtime and letting people know what you will do if you win the nomination. Its useless releasing a policy on a day when you know its not going to get any attention whatsoever from the media.

Agreed but the air time would come a bit later not the day of release. People need a bit of time to digest the policy, compare it to what the others have put out etc.

you missed my point.

You didn't really make a point, you just said a thing. If you're trying to say that she has a lot of plans that you don't think she can action then that'd be fair, but it still wouldn't really mean anything when it comes to this specific tweet, which you'd be missing the point on, that at least one of the answers given was a positive indication of change and the other one was fluff.

building housing units does not address the needs of working people.
It needs to be affordable housing.

Do you know that that isn't her intention? I genuinely have no idea, but that wasn't the point of the tweet. You could likewise say "telling developers they 'can't just do stuff' doesn't address the needs of working people, because the developers will just laugh in your face. It needs to be an actual plan."

If it turns out her plan is housing that is unaffordable, then I'd agree with your point but to say 'X has a lot of plans' as some kind of criticism when that in itself is a good thing, and not discussing the actual merits of it is just lazy.

First read the tweet and the thread. Not doing that is lazy.

EDIT:

Tbf to Warren, I do like some of what she says. As I have said before, if she ended being the nominee I would vote for her.

But I have my doubts is all.

Is Cory Booker just in this to be a spoiler? Like he's made some pact with others to attack the top two Biden and Sanders only, while no one actually knows what he himself is for.

I'm pretty sure Bernie is trying to hint at people starting mass protests as a way of demanding, but not outright saying it for obvious reasons.

It does bother me that he’s had a whole election cycle since his last run to generate specifics to go along with his messaging, but he apparently hasn’t.
He's had more than that, he's had his entire career.

That's why he passes the 'purity test'. He's barely ever engaged in any actual lawmaking or policy forming, which is where people face the need to compromise in order to achieve a partial form of their policy rather than not achieve the "perfect" policy.

Hes not hinting, he said this explicitly in his closing statement in the first debate. Disingenuous people choose to ignore that.
Disingenuous people say Bernie explicitly calls for mass protests in his closing statements, even though he literally did not say that, and call other people disingenuous for saying he's hinting at that.

Smartass Eboue response goes here :):

Bernie clearly has specific policies and explains how he is going to achieve them. he also has spoken of compromises.
All you have to do is go to his website.

But Republicans and Centrists who are happy using Right Wing talking points attack him with this nonsense.

Biden the corporate Dem leading despite being the worst candidate out there by far. The USA is fecked and rotten to the core. The only chance at survival is Bernie or Warren. Anyone other than that and the status quo will just continue, just with a different face.

I wouldn't give a shit tbh, but the current the world is in the balance and few can see it and even fewer care enough to do anything about It.

Similar plan, actual identification of the enemies to the plan (developers).
