He getting so dull with that rigged nonsense. He said the same thing in 2016, when he won.
He’s consistently wrong. No wonder his businesses failed when he’s relying on his opinion rather than facts.
That’s the way he is; he lies constantly so best to ignore. The problem I have is when others blindly believe his lies or can’t see through his bullshit. The 71m (ok not all are about Trump some are there for the lower taxes) but still 71m ??? That’s a lot of crackpots.

That wasn't Hitler's rallying cry.

It is very much about what Hitler came to power with, he tapped into the German resentment to the aftermath of the Treaty of Versailles (1919) which effectively ended WWI. It was only later that his evil intentions became known and by that time Germany had put him and his National Socialist German Workers Party (to become known as the Nazi Party) in power.

In other words it's about as mythical as your idea that most people in the UK were expecting Trump to win.

I think this is your mythical thinking. Most people in the UK were expecting a Biden victory based on the polls that were being issued which for weeks in advance and showed Biden ahead from between 7 to 13 percentage points. My point was about how anyone knew that the large slice of mailed-in votes were for Biden, before they were counted, how could they have known that? The answer that seems to have been accepted is that in some areas large parts of the Democratic vote stayed home and voted by mail, where as most Trump's people turned out to vote on the day.

No wonder no decent Lawyer wants anything to do with him. On Fox, Giuliani was defending the fact that Trump tweeted that Biden had won. Way to undermine your lawyer.

....and they are still running the asylum!

I don't think this comment had anything to do with mail-in votes...

That's really interesting, you think he could have won, he could have beaten Hilary for the Democrat nomination last time had he stood, but personal issues prevented that outcome?
That isn't coming through at all over here (not that it matters) over here to many people Biden looks like a nice guy, but some one heading to be a three-time loser.

Throughout the thread you've said you're not a Trump supporter but at the same time said things like "I think you Americans are going to miss him", "over here people think Biden looks like a three-time loser", and various other throwaway comments that express support for Trump that you attach to other groups on the basis of essentially no evidence.

Yes Hitler was incensed about the Treaty of Versailles and tapped into the national anger around that. That's a very, very loose analogy to what Trump tapped into. So loose that it applies to almost any nationalist leader at any time. So the "where did we last hear that?" is more than a bit misleading because you heard that specific slogan about as often from Hitler as you did from Thatcher (i.e. not that often), more often from Reagan (still not that often), and many more in between. And it very poorly represents what animated the early Nazi movement, which is why they adopted other slogans instead.

While it's true that Hitler used German resentment to gain power, it's completely false to say that "it was only later his evil intentions became known". Hell, he wrote a book about his evil intentions.

Didn’t you know? He was only joking in that book.

:lol:I wonder how many have it right the way through it though. I had to read a bit during my history degree and it is beyond tumescent.
