One 'undecided' black (!) female (!) voter from the debate to Sky News: 'I think he was great. His answers were clear, concise and thorough. He has a great vision for our country.'

:wenger::eek: Either severly brain-troubled or a hardcore Trump supporter pretending to be undecided to get in.

But it's from a Ohio small sample voter group though.
Doesn't matter, if he was up the media would have that as their talking point and build it as a comeback. It's still an absurdly high score for him given he just threatened to imprison his opponent if he won, but I'll take it.

There was a fairly interesting story on opinion poll reporting...

About her going easy to stop Trump from dropping out...
Overall, fewer than 4-in-10 voters — 39 percent — think Trump should end his presidential campaign, while only slightly more voters, 45 percent, think he should not drop out.

But voters are largely viewing Trump’s comments through their own partisan lens: 70 percent of Democrats say Trump should end his campaign, but just 12 percent of Republicans — and 13 percent of female Republicans — agree.

If it's a black woman who's undecided at this point...

Krauthammer on Fox making a good point. The debate was either a narrow defeat or a draw (although CNN's poll might suggest it was a heavy defeat), but technically a win for Trump because it's allowed him to (briefly, most likely) shift the discourse.

He also says the election is a foregone conclusion and Clinton has won barring some extraordinary exogenous event.

He's scary!

Unhinged and being talked about stalking Hillary like a bully A LOT on Twitter.

Somebody on CNN brought it up, too. That women of a focus group (?) expressed during the debate great discomfort how Trump behaved when he was not talking.

I've been pretty nervous all day leading up to the debate - not knowing what nonsense Trump may have up his sleeve, whether he would go nuclear, or how she would react. I'm pretty relieved its all over. Trump will live to fight another day, but that's about all. He managed to re-energize the right wing of the Republican party, but didn't do anything to bring moderate Republicans or Independent undecideds into the fold, which I imagine will be reflected in the first polls that come out on Wed and beyond.

Mentally ill. Seriously disturbed human being. Not much else to say really.
Couldn't agree more but it's seriously disturbing that such a scumbag still holds on to about 40% of the votes!

I don't see the point of that article.

It's nonsense that she would intentionally go easy on Trump to prevent him from dropping out. Nobody does that and it's in the 'Can a loss be a win' Liverpool argument territory. However, she has always been a risk averse player and the calculation here could be to stay above it and attract the independents by taking the high road. It clearly works and I think will make Hillary the winner of the debate. We were baying for more entertainment and humiliation for Trump, but this approach gets more independents. After all, Tim Kaine tried and everyone declared Pence as the winner when he flat out lied just because he wasn't eager. On that count, this is a bloodbath for Trump.

7% of debate watchers haven't heard about Trumps tape before tonight, according to CNN.

Under which rock they've been living for the last 60 hours?

Clinton going easy on Trump intentionally? lol

Alas, that really is the best she can do. Against Trump. No, really.

Exactly. Like Trump not winning independents and moderate Republicans, Clinton's coalition is about older Democrats, women and independents. We don't know if the millenials will hurt Clinton, but poll numbers are working in her favor. She played out a less risky approach, that doesn't guarantee her win today. She doesn't have to do that today and more and more it looks like there are further controversies for Trump ahead. Safe is better and I think she won it today.

Rudy Giuliani is a cnut. That is all.
Actually, a bit more. What is his game? Supporting Trump to the point of lunacy, but what can he gain here? Everyone (even senior Republicans) are admitting this is done. Why would anyone continue to support Trump beyond the point of some perceived party loyalty.

I agree, but when you break it down I can see and understand many frustrations and also understand ideological differences, but also you have to take intelligence in to consideration too.

Rudy Giuliani is a cnut. That is all.

Yup and

Kayleigh Mcenany

Jeffery Lord

Kellyanne Conway

Katrina Pierson

And all the Trump surrogates...

BTW, Kellyanne Conway looks seriously ILL! Seriously tired and under severe strain too. She doesn't look good at all, and I guarantee one more scandal and she is GONE!

If judged objectively, Clinton handily won that debate. All you can say for Trump is that he didn't go completely off the rails as expected. He certainly didn't win over any moderates, and he gave his opponent even more material to work with. Material that is going to hurt him: "Locker room banter", "send her to jail", "Hasn't talked to and disagrees with his running mate", bringing up Bill and the 12 year old, "I'm not as bad as ISIS", & "I never paid federal taxes".

Clinton was solid but uninspiring. She played it safe, like a smart away performance in Europe in the Fergie days. In the coming days, I am certain we will see more tapes emerge, and the remaining senior Republican figures will desert him. This race is over.

That Lewandowski guy is so hypocritical and deluded that I can't decide whether to punch him in the face or pity him.

I love Ana Navarro!

Apparently Maddow just called Rudy "nuts" on MSNBC  Did that really just happen?

And in an online poll over 60% of people think Trump won't attend the final debate.

Did I get this straight? Gloria on CNN saying 'Donald Trump is a 69-year old, fat - excuse me - guy' - interrupted by laughther of the panel and from the people surrounding the stage.

Did you hear right? I think it was related to 'frat' and she checked back and mentioned it is a college campus.

Anyone who thinks Trump "won the debate" needs to frame what winning means in the context of this new map, which was done pre-debate and pre-pussygate.

Fox peddle an insane line of surrealism. Even they must know that they're full of shit. It's amazing.

I think the debate was a lot closer than some people seem to (maybe even a narrow Trump win -- MAYBE), but these people are claiming that it's the most impressive performance in the history of presidential debating. Insane.

Also, on the prison thing, I don't think that hurts Trump as much as some people do. I also think it's a legitimate comment. Didn't the head of the FBI say something along the lines of if it weren't for political red tape, he'd have prosecuted her? I need to reread the exact quote.

Having said that, everything is measured in demographics. And maybe the concept of imprisoning a female presidential candidate will repulse a lot of women voters (almost certainly).

As a president, he can only request the Justice Department for a special prosecutor and he can't order an inquest.

That's why I was asking. Fat would be accurate and perfect in the context Gloria was talking, too, and I think that those who laughed also heard 'fat'. :D

Exactly. It's not even within his power. I just read it as a vote winner, though probably not a good one considering the people who want her locked up probably already decided to vote for Trump about a year ago.

Lewandowski is similarly psychologically disturbed as Trump.
