This is glorious. The GOP gets worse each year. How low can they go?
Someone made the point that if the GOP higher ups are adopting a "focus on Congress" strategy, 40m people voted GOP in the 2014 elections, compared to 58m in the general election year and 66m for Obama as President. We really have no idea how low their floor is when you take into account the potential for abstentions, I'm not sure there's a precedent. Similarly, they may still choose to ride this out and hold their noses. No idea!

Former Editor of The Apprentice says there are far worse tapes out there .

That Kayleigh woman! How morally rotten can a woman be.

Leak fee is 5m. I'm sure Cuban, Soros, Moskowitz or Buffet will be happy to pay :D

The reality is, if someone is driven enough, they'll leak it. I suppose it also matters how likely it is that the person would be narrowed down to - I suppose it's only a small cohort who would have access to it, which might make them more likely to be identified. Considering the noises today, I think it's moot anyway - I think the press/Clinton campaign have the tape already.

Which is the best network to watch it on? Twitter just sent me this, so I guess it must be one option available here..

Don't know if this helps:

The debate will be widely available on TV and online. Here are just some of the different ways to tune in:

  • The debate will be broadcast live on ABC, CBS, CNN, C-SPAN, Fox, Fox News, MSNBC and PBS. (Note: CNET is a subsidiary of CBS.)
  • Because NBC stations will be showing Sunday Night Football, NBC is broadcasting the debate live on YouTube, as well as on its Cozi broadcast stations in some cities.
  • A live stream of the debate will also be available for free on Twitter and Facebook.
  • CBS News will also provide a free live stream through its CBSN service, which is available on Android, iPhone and iPad, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV and on the web.

I'm not sure which options I'll have (probably will give Filmon a go), but which network would ye go for if all were available?

Fox News will be best entertainment value.

Can't fecking wait for this debate. Might be the most interesting presidential debate in history.

The dem defence is pretty strong. Saying it's a Kremlin release so nothing can be completely believed.

Which is true. There was apparently some modified material released recently, which if true, completely undercuts the legitimacy of Wikileaks releases.

Source? I'm asking about the Wikileaks from yesterday, which the BBC has picked up on, not some Guccifer stuff that's been floating around for a month.

The second debate usually attracts less of an audience than the first, doesn't it? Wonder if this will buck the trend given the build up...

Fox are always going to struggle with a boring email story when you've got the pussy-grabber-in-chief making news.
