Assange being such a self-important narcissist that he is, attempts to make his first big Hillary tweet about him.

I was thinking the same thing. Although, it was definitely said tongue in cheek. It just goes to only prove what a precious little twat he is.

Wishful thinking? Or a sign of the strain supporting Trump brings upon you?

OUCH! I wonder if that will stop Trump though? He loves nothing more than throwing Reagan's name around any chance he gets.

I'm pretty sure Reagan would've voted for Hillary, just as George H.W. Bush recently said he would. The Hillary brand has a good amount of crossover, especially on foreign policy with the old school, pre-Tea party nutter GOP. They would obviously not agree on Reaganomics, but would probably compensate for that by agreeing on defense policy.

To an extent...NAFTA, welfare reform, tough-on-crime, are all issues common to Reagan and the Clintons.

Free trade hasn't been much of a party specific position as both parties have supported it over the years. Reaganomics is generally a reference to trickle down economics that advances the view that reducing taxes on the wealthy will result in the wealthy (or semi-wealthy) reinvesting their taxes into starting new businesses which will eventually help people at the bottom of the food chain. That of course, doesn't work and there's been a clear delineation between the GOP and Dems on that over the years.

I'm pretty sure Wallace is concerned about the perception that he will be soft on Trump because he is a Fox News employee, and will compensate by being more aggressive in his questioning. And he will be harder on Hillary as well to avoid the perception he is just going after Trump. So in essence, the final debate should be a complete brawl.

The Democrats successfully stopped NAFTA when Bush I ws in office, so it was a partisan issue before Clinton came along. And the flipside to Reagan trickle down and lowering taxes is cutting spending, hence welfare reform.
OTOH, the crime position wasn't economics but definitely something both Reagan and Clinton embraced.

I'm talking about Presidential politics. Clinton supported it, still does. So does Hillary of course. There is far more crossover in terms of free trade agreement among both parties than there is populist, working class policy divergence.

It better be real.. A cakewalk for Clinton would be boring.

This is exactly what's wrong with our world today. In a sense, it's not an election, but a source for entertainment and people want it to see saw instead of a one sided affair. At least, prateik isn't voting in the US, but the number of people in US having this mentality staggers me.

Assange is a traitor with american logic(guess they see themselves as the world government). He probably expects a lot of people from both camps to view assassination comments favourably.

Well.. the only reason I feel that way is because it isnt affecting me directly.
I am sure I wouldnt feel the same way if I was living there.

Exactly. The way some pundits were talking about the debates made it almost seem like the build up to a big football match.

How is he a traitor?

Assange came on Bill Maher and 'declared' that he isn't trying to be partial to Trump.

This is the problem with running an organization that claims transparency is their main goal. Their agenda has to be above reproach and purely impartial. When they take sides based on ego and personal preference, they destroy the credibility of the org as well. Thank you Assange, you thundercnut.

Just in.

Disclaimer: the last CO Monmouth poll was done in mid-July, Clinton 48-35, so this poll actually will lower her chances in 538 forecast.

And the good news just keeps rolling in..
http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/201...-ordered-new-york-ag-stop-fundraising-n658651
New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman's office on Monday ordered the Donald J. Trump Foundation to "immediately cease soliciting contributions" after a report that the charity lacked the proper authorization to seek public donations.

"The Attorney General's office is the sole regulator of charities in New York State, and when evidence of clear misconduct is brought to our attention, we take action," a spokesman for the attorney general's office said in a statement.

The "Notice of Violation" letter obtained by NBC News warned that the charity "shall be deemed a continuing fraud upon the people of New York" unless it provided required paperwork regarding its fundraising activities within the next 15 days.

The move comes after the Washington Post reported last week that the campaign lacked a required state certification that would allow it to request funding from the public. Trump organized a veterans event after cancelling a primary debate appearance in January and collected $1.67 million through a website directing donations to the Trump Foundation.
