Yeah, I know, it's pretty ridiculous when you think that this is the more moderate, sensible of the two main parties. Very good speech admittedly, but one that could only ever work in an American election. Imagine someone like Tony Blair or George Osborne delivering a speech like that!
Neil Kinnock tried, with hilarious results.

This Trump university thing is all very sob story, propaganda-esque.

True, but there'd be plenty of republic countries out there where the level of patriotism displayed in America would be (and is) largely ridiculed. All comes across as quite corny and silly, but that's the culture I suppose.
Yeah but #2timeWWchamps and all that jazz

But hasn't spent 8 years as VP (not to mention losing his son). That kinda stress ages people.
Yeah, Beau's death was what made me sure he wouldn't run.

Interesting hypothetical I read the other day though - if Obama had plumped for Kaine as his running mate in 08, he could've had a very decent chance of being the nominee right now, given everything.

On a serious note though, that was an excellent speech from Michelle. Got real potential as a politician if she gets more into it. And looks great for 52.

I don't think she, or others, really believe that. But you get so much shit over here if you don't proclaim it every now and then that it's just not worth not doing it.

It's a meaningless statement anyway. Best in what way? At being powerful? At caring for citizens? At being decent people? It's a statement that can't be defined as such, but voters love to hear it nevertheless.

Here ya go, Raul. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/7/24/1551904/-New-Trump-Logo-Unveiled
