Did Jeb! always intend using his stupider brother to campaign for him? I thought that he was desperately trying to pull away from the Bush legacy hence his refusal to use 'Bush' in his campaign materials.

The poor fool is really scrambling.

It's a South Carolina thing, Dubya is popular there they say. But don't think he'd be bringing him in if he were sitting in the top couple of spots.

Trump has now scored endorsements from the Bush-Cheney duo of awesome. They're tempting me to help make america great again ;)

I was on the 'Bernie won't get anything done' bus for a while, but then, I think the Republicans are so obstructionist now that the lovechild of Reagan, Bush Sr. and Jesus Christ would struggle to work with them if they happened to be a Democrat. I'm not convinced that Hillary and Bernie won't get equally blocked.

And at least Bernie is trying to accomplish real change.

Exactly. The people who fund politicians want the American people to be disillusioned with govt. Divide and conquer.

I meant the politics within Congress and Washington.

Republicans fought Obama on just about anything and everything. Tea Party got people elected, who basically said, their only goal was to disrupt things.

People like Cruz - offered nothing.

Someone as 'radical' as Sanders would face 10 times worse and the partisan politics would go to another level.

Putting aside the notion that Bernie might get elected. I think republicans stand to gain from the democrats imploding in the process. Lot of undecided voters who hate Hillary and might be tempted to vote for the other side.

Ted Cruz: We think that Jesus Christ is our God, and our savior. A commander in chief should start each day on knees praying to almighty God. However, he shouldn't interfere with our politics, and leave the politics to politicians. Amen!

Jeb Bush: I am a devoted Catholic, and I respect Jesus, but Jesus should not raise his concerns for the global warming!

I really doubt that. It would have happened if Republicans had a semi-normal candidate, but the likes of Trump, Cruz and Rubio are extremely divisive. It would be a 'cutting off the nose to spite the face' way of thinking. However, they might not want to vote at all.

On the other side, I think that Hilary fans would vote for Sanders without a problem, but then those who are on the center (neither Democrats, nor Republicans) might not like to vote for a socialist.

It would be difficult to not support a president from the same party, especially if the president wins the election by promising very large reforms. Those senators/members of house have to worry for their re-election too, and if Bernie popularity continues increasing, not supporting him might be a political suicide.

Of course, this doesn't go for Republicans. They will block him even more than they did with Obama. It is imperative for Bernie, that Democrats gain control of the senate, and hopefully lower the difference in house.
Not for red-state Democrats it wouldn't, quite the opposite.

Except when it comes to gay marriage, equal rights and pay for women and abortion.

Not only Belgian... but the name is in French... you know, that language that only works 12hrs a week.

Fabrique Nationale d'Herstal (French for: National Factory of Herstal) — self identified as FN Herstal and often referred to as Fabrique Nationale or simplyFN — is a leading firearms manufacturer located in Herstal, Belgium, owned by the regional government of Wallonia.[1] It is currently the largest exporter of military small arms in Europe.[2]

Lots of respectable polls coming out over the last couple of days showing Trump ahead by atleast 15 points.

Could be a big win for him.

Tbf, Jeb doesn't even have an ounce of his brother's charisma.

I feel for Jeb, because if I ever had to run for President I think my campaign would end up being as meek and awkward as his. "Uh, guys... so I have these policy plans and if you manage to stay awake during the next hour, I'd like to share them with you".

The trouble with Bernie getting elected would be gridlock like we've never seen it, in which case what's the point of electing Bernie. Policies like Medicare for all, free public Uni, and taxing the Jesus out of Wall Street would be dead on arrival since the Congress would be overwhelmingly Repblican and even centrist Democrats wouldn't support it.
Most of the Democrats wouldn't support it

Hillary and Bernie seem genuinely tied in NV according to yesterday's CNN/ORC poll. Would be great to see Bernie nick it in the end as it would put a lot of pressure on her in SC.

As for the GOP - I think Carson and Kasich will drop out either after SC or after Super Tuesday, which will benefit Rubio and Cruz and to a lesser degree Trump. If Jeb and Kasich drop out, that's great news for MarcoBot.

Think that one basically depends on how many non-Dems Sanders can get registered in time, if it's a lot then it looks like he could win.
