2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi

Why exactly doesn't that goal count. Surely in that case it should count regardless. Otherwise whats to stop the keeper just knocking the goals slightly off line and every goal not counting?

Not a clue, why not actually make it so the goals dont fecking move anyway?

Gonna be epic if USA score in the dying seconds

It's too dangerous for players to go flying into them if they don't move.

Not sure why it was disallowed though, high stick I guess but we could really have done with an audio on the ref.

In the NHL, you can score on a dislodged goal, but international hockey means it can't count. Not sure why.

Strange decision (although I understand is was correct according to the rules). The goalie moved the goal, and that shot was going in regardless of whether the post was 1 or 2 cm off. I've only seen the third period, but thought USA were a bit lucky throughout it.

Is this a group game still. So no draws in hockey.

I like the drop the numbers down in extra time either way.

Yeah no draws, not sure how international works but in the NHL if you lose in overtime you still get a point and the winner gets the usual 2.

US miss a great chance then. This game should be played with a player less all the time

USA guy banging the Russian (who was down) thrice in the neck with his stick, but no penalty. Bit strange`?

Penalties

Expect them to miss a lot, but not as much as United v Sunderland

This shoot out should be a piece of piss for the americans. Their goalie can just give the net a little kick each time.
