That 2nd one was awesome, when he catches one I love the way he just aggresively rips at it and you know its gone before the camera even turns to look.

Totally agree, comes across as the ultimate professional and has the talent to back him. When is he a free agent? 2010 or 11? I can't seem him even leaving the Cards at this point.
The Dodgers second half collapse has begun. I predict they don't win the division. Either Giants or Rockies will take it.
Their bullpen is shot and their starters can't pitch deep into games. It's a recipe for disaster. Most innings pitched by a bullpen in the majors. Their ace Billingsly has turned to a pile of shit. Should make for an exciting Sept.
Probally not what it's meant for in this thread.
My grandson, who is 12, was asked to play for an American based team here in the UK. They are affiliated with "Little League" in the US.
He has made the all star team and will be playing in a knock out tournament in Poland in August. If the come in the top two they will immediately fly to Pennsylvania for the Little League championship. Right proud of him I am.
fecking hell America, sort yourself out
Watching a Pittsburgh game and they're advertising 'all you can eat' seats
Cut to pictures of a row of fat bastards gorging themselves whilst watching the game
Dodgers will do it, I'm positive
Be positive Boothy, you can do it.Thats great, I've always wanted to start baseball over here but theres nowhere local to me.

Currently sitting in first with 325 innings pitched by their bullpen, far most in the majors.
Their starter has turned to complete shit over the past month and 1/2.
Pitching is what wins championships.
The Dodgers are fecked.

Why were you watching a Pittsburgh game?
Why were you watching a Pittsburgh game? They are horrible and are in the process of making themselves worse by trading away the rest of their players
it's funny 'cause it's true.
Im glad the Sox are in the AL for that reason alone... hell, even the worst teams in the AL are decent enough and have good enough young players.
I watch what the TV shows!
I've got Oakland on at the moment, they'd scored 12 runs by the 2nd inning so it's hardly riveting stuff!
Is there a US channel in Sweden that shows all of these games?
It only makes it easier for the Cubs though, so it is not all bad. That being said will the Pirates ever have a good team? I just don't see it happening unless they change owners
Well it's ESPN America, they show their 'official' games like they do for you over there, but they also show the market games too, hence seeing some less high profile games
The Curse of Jim Leyland
No Huntington has them in a different direction with re-building, there's a bit of minor league stability and the trades of Bay and Nady are good, and soon enough Sanchez as well.
They should be able to build and kick in soon, but you expect in a sports successful city (Steelers, Penguins), their poor performances are going under the radar and not getting the attention.
Yeah, their minor league system should be good but once those players get good with the real club they get traded to a bigger team. It seems like an endless cycle.
Oh I see, that is pretty cool. Do they show NFL games as well for you?
But he's only been in the job since 2007, a period in which he's changed the face of this team entirely.
Tons of good young pieces for the future, it reminds me of the Rays slightly
Yeh they do, but I'm not into that
They had the hockey too. Only thin they don't seem to have is NBA. Which is fine by me, I hate basketball. Do show college stuff mind
I hope they become good, because it will make baseball more competitive. They should just combine the Nationals and the Pirates
Yankees surging ahead of the Sox in the AL East. Should be a close race right down to the end. Manny pinch hit a grand slam for the dodgers. If they get Halladay they would be favorites to win the World Series imo.
Why were you watching a Pittsburgh game?
Friend of mine used to play for Pittsburgh, Lance Parrish.
Lance Parrish played for the Phillies for one season. I was at a game, sitting near the batter's box, when he let a pitch the pitcher was trying to fool him with go by for a ball. I yelled Good eyes, Lance. He looked up at me and smiled. Sigh.
Neat story, sort of have a connection along the lines with Matt Stairs... before he decided to be amazing he played co-ed ball with my mom and my uncle, and to this day he doesn't hesitate to invite us up to his home in like, 3rd home in New Brunswick when he crosses the border.
Big trade today Holliday to the Cards also looks very likely Halladay to the Phillies.
I hope Holliday blows but I am sure he will do good. I don't know about that trade though, considering Holliday is a FA after this season.
Halladay to the Phillies seems like it would guarantee that the Phillies would make the playoffs and do some damage in them
