Klopp isn't going to Liverpool, and neither is Gundogan.
Klopp, i wouldn't be so sure, Gundogan ain't joining Liverpool i'm pretty sure.Klopp isn't going to Liverpool, and neither is Gundogan.
lets be honest barca having a transfer ban may rule that one out
Just hope we get him!
Agreed.
@ravi2 Considering that Dortmund supporters on the cafe have said that Gundo requires Sahin to carry out the defensive responsibilities required by dortmund...why do you think Gundo can do it all by himself at United? Apparently he's lost his dynamism and tackling tenacity with the injury and is more of a playmaker at Dortmund...doesn't sound like a number 6 to me really
Schneiderlin would be a good option. Should not be too expensive and PL experienced. Plus would fit the role and age profile very nicely.
it doesn't give you a "wow" when you first watch over the video, but after finishing the watching apparently he's the one we are really in need:
a linker in midfield who always makes himself available to his teammates around him and is capable to move the ball around.
we should go get him
feck i hate Munich.
Why would Dortmund intentionally sell him to Bayern when he has suitors elsewhere? Still, I won't give up hope until I see him in a Bayern shirt.
I agree with that unless he joins us, in which case I'll disagree. Not really bothered at all missing out on him. Nearly every Dortmund fan says he is not even the same player that was one of the best midfielders in the world in 2013, and that he has lost a lot of intensity.
wouldn't care either, better give Pereira chance to shine, he's good for that role and buy strong defensive minded midfielder like Schneiderlin, Gundogan wouldn't solve our problems with no6 positionNot really bothered at all missing out on him. Nearly every Dortmund fan says he is not even the same player that was one of the best midfielders in the world in 2013, and that he has lost a lot of intensity.
And that'll stay that way until Dortmund's best players stop leaving for Munich. Why not when the Bayern offer is the best? If they really offer 25m + Hojberg, it's understandable and more useful than our offer. It's not like they are really competitors right now.
Well I think Bastian would be the CDM cover we desperately need to compete with Carrick. We'll also need another #8 I agree.schweinsteiger would be a great addition as long as he's not our only central midfield addition. him AND gundogan would have been great. pogba and vidal would do, too. but him alone would be... eh.
The #6 role is more about passing range, incision and awareness than it is about defending, that is why Gundogan is a better fit for us than some of the destroyers being listed by people.
I think we will sign him or we wont sign him. No middle ground in this story.
You didn't say dead in the water. You need to say dead in the water.German player goes to German champs, or German player goes to non German team that finished fourth.
This one is dead. Next.
Why are you believing what jan aage fjortoft is saying? About a fortnight ago he said Gundogan was going to Atletico or Arsenal. A month ago a fee was agreed with us, he's as random as a tabloid, seems to me he thinks if he throws enough bullshit some of it is bound to stick. Not really bothered at all missing out on him. Nearly every Dortmund fan says he is not even the same player that was one of the best midfielders in the world in 2013, and that he has lost a lot of intensity.
Really think he'd be an excellent addition. For the price mooted I hope we're all over him, I'd be confident of winning the midfield battle against anyone in the league with him Herrera and Carrick.
And that'll stay that way until Dortmund's best players stop leaving for Munich.
And so what? Spurs didn't accept our higher bid for Bale despite the fact we weren't really their rivals. They still chose to sell him abroad. Same would happen with Sterling should he be put up for sale. Not to mention United would've paid more than Bayern and if they wanted Hojbjerg, they could've bid for him.
If Dortmund sell him to Bayern then my sympathy for them has run out. Player wants to leave this summer, so force him to move abroad.
This.As opposed to?
