Just saying.

Thing is, I'm not sure we can deduce a great deal from Dortmund's form / performance levels given that their manager has said he's off and numerous players are pondering their futures.

It's human nature for application levels to dip in such circumstances.

Put simply, many of their minds are elsewhere.

As an aside, I wonder what Reus makes of it all...

Bayern makes sense for him. Schweinsteiger and Alonso don't have much left in the tank so they are left with Rode, Thiago and Martinez.
Martinez is Peps plan for CB, but you left out Alaba and Lahm, who are both set for midfield. I have to agree a midfield three of Lahm/Thiago/Gündogan sounds mouth watering :)
Bayerns best 11 currently relies heavily on having a lot of firepower down the flanks with Robben/Ribery, but as we all know, that model has a clear "best use before" mark slapped onto it, and winger/attackers of that quality are extremely hard to find. Pep has adapted his tactics around having no top class fullbacks available (with Lahm moved to midfield), so he may cope with having no Rib/Rob available by adding quality where it is available, which would be central midfield.

No one is really available.

Verrati - No. PSG arent a selling club.
Schneiderlin - Just a maybe. With his new injury, we would always use the excuse we want to see him back in action before making a move. Arsenal are strongly linked but we are not.
Pogba - Everyone is after him. Not sure we can win the battle.
Xhaka - No. Dont seem like we are even remotely interested and talks of him joining Bayern at the end of the season are picking up.
Koke - We have a better chance of signing Ronaldo.
Strootman - If he didnt have this injury then yes. Now not so sure.
Vidal - I think that ship has sailed.
Nainggolan - I would rather have Gundogan. Especially for the price being touted.
Carvalho - Dont think LVG rates him.
 You just put a random bunch of players together and guessed.

Mate of mine, who has a season ticket at Dortmund & who called the Sahin transfer to Real, the Götze deal to Bayern as well as us signing Kagawa reckons he'll end up at Bayern too - they want to replace Alonso & Schweinsteiger.
They only just bought him?

The name on that coffee shop :nervous:
The "Käfer" Family, most prominent member Michi Käfer, is an institution in munich. They run a delicatessen store (second finest in town), run the "P1" Club - many aspiring football talents lost their virginity there, and Olli Kahn found the barmaid of his life behind its counter.
They run the restaurant where the pic was taken, home away from home for all celebrities too old to Party at the P1. More FCB based decisions have been made at Käfer than at any conference room of Säbener Strasse, rest assured.
btw they also run an Oktoberfest beerhall which has a celebriy density only second to ringside seats at Mayweather-Pacquiao. Most expensive coffee as well (10€ a mug).
Do a Google pics "Käferzelt Promi" search, don't do it if you can't stand Pictures of Silicon ladies in Dirndl tho.

Dortmund have rubbished the report linking them with a swap deal of Gundogan and Goetze as per Michael Zorc:

“I am hearing about this for the first time. We transferred Mario to Bayern Munich for a high amount. He is a player of Bayern Munich. I cannot imagine that.”

However nothing about Gundogan going to Bayern.

Said they have had no offers for him.

Ah ok, I know a lot of fans on here don't want him but I really do hope we are interested. I know that German paper stuck by their story regarding us so hopefully we will make an offer once the season finishes.

I'm so convinced Gundogan isn't going anywhere near Bayern that I'll happily leave the Caf if he does.

To the Bayern interest;
there are talks from a Swedish newspaper(take that as you like) who visited München that we(Bayern) are in for a world class player from a world club, who is also French.
You also heard from the club that we can pay 100 million for a player(thats far away to be fair).
Lets go a bit crazy; we want Pogba and "talk" to Gündogan for a smoke screen.

I love these times.

We will splash the cash in the summer. Gündogan is possible. German, younger. But the injuries. We will see.

Griezmann is one of my favourite players and I wouldn't want to see him to go to Bayern to sit on the bench. He is still young, in one or two years he should move depending on the progress of Ribery and Robben.

I think United should think about signing this player because he offers all the attributes that our current left back offers. He knows how to silence the crowd when they are rowdy because he looks at them and puts his finger over his mouth. He is also very good at throw ins and normally finds his intended target.

I'd rather you lot buy Pogba, than one of our competitors in England.

Who?

Real Madrid could see to that, but have to say Pogba really doesn't seem to suit their transfer policy.
Madrid's transfer policy? Can't think of too many players that would be classed as more of a 'Galactico'.

I'm referring to the fact he isn't good looking like James or Ronaldo, but I guess Bale isn't too

That's why Madrid included the headband clause into his contract... pretty him up a bit or no deal.

No way did he start wearing that voluntarily.
