Guardiola's is to midfielders what Redknapp is to strikers.
He destroys their confidence by comparing them unfavourably with his wife?Guardiola's is to midfielders what Redknapp is to strikers.
No one is really available. He really isn't.

Are you skeptical about him only because of his injury?Normally I would want United to succeed getting a player but in Gundogan's case, i'm not really entirely enthusiastic about it. He isn't in my muppet mode say Vidal or Sneijder. Good if we can get him, otherwise there are similar or better options out there if we don't

Verrati - No. PSG arent a selling club.
Schneiderlin - Just a maybe. With his new injury, we would always use the excuse we want to see him back in action before making a move. Arsenal are strongly linked but we are not.
Pogba - Everyone is after him. Not sure we can win the battle.
Xhaka - No. Dont seem like we are even remotely interested and talks of him joining Bayern at the end of the season are picking up.
Koke - We have a better chance of signing Ronaldo.
Strootman - If he didnt have this injury then yes. Now not so sure.
Vidal - I think that ship has sailed.
Nainggolan - I would rather have Gundogan. Especially for the price being touted.
Carvalho - Dont think LVG rates him.
They had coffee together ffs. How bad can it be? It's clearly a done deal.Gündogan won't join Bayern, it just doesn't make any sense. Dortmund would much rather sell him abroad, Bayern don't need a number 8 and the relationship between the two clubs is bad enough as it is, and both sides are aiming to calm the tensions a bit.
England is most likely as I can't see Barcelona or Real being interested.
When have we ever lost a player to city because of the project? Tevez is a cnut so im not counting him.We need to position ourselves better IMO. Either we lose players to City as they were won over "by the project" or we lose players to bayern as they want to play their part in a continuation process..i.e. they won the season last season without me, will win it next season without me, but I'm going anyway to assist with that process. When we get top talent ala dI Maria and Falcao you have Balague saying they dont actually want to be here. Can I have examples of where a player chose us and said "I was only ever interested in United because growing up they dominated English Football for 20 years in fine style....long live Sir Bobby"?
I think Silva and Nasri chose them when we were genuinely interested. When have we ever lost a player to city because of the project? Tevez is a cnut so im not counting him.
A choice between City and United is not hard and I dont think players would find it that hard either.

Turn the clock back 30 years and sign Rummenigge
It's only just turned May and already Depay and Gundogan have flickered between 'done deal' and 'off'.
It's going to be a long summer.

Or better yet turn it back 40 years and sign him.
This reminds me of when a certain poster said that we had a better chance of signing Messi than of signing Gundogan. No one is really available.

Mate of mine, who has a season ticket at Dortmund & who called the Sahin transfer to Real, the Götze deal to Bayern as well as us signing Kagawa reckons he'll end up at Bayern too - they want to replace Alonso & Schweinsteiger.
Hopefully we've acted faster & have him done and dusted.Fits in with the Xhaka rumours, good for them if that's the case
This was taken before the cup tie between their sides. Originally Bild didn't mention Gündogan. It was supposed to be about flowers for Klopp and to clear a bit of beef between them.GÜNDOGAN - Rummenigge & Watze having a coffee. According to Bild, they are negotiating for @Guendogan8 https://futbolupdate.wordpress.com/bayern/

Remember the song? Karl-Heinz Rummenigge...Rummenigge...Rummenigge...he's got sexy legs...Growing up in Germany in the late 70s/early 80s, Bayern were my team as well and Rummenigge was my idol (we in fact share the same birthday).
Risky transfer. Gündogan is not the player he was before his complicated injury.
Well, Dortmund is Bayern's feeder club after all - where else would he go?Mate of mine, who has a season ticket at Dortmund & who called the Sahin transfer to Real, the Götze deal to Bayern as well as us signing Kagawa reckons he'll end up at Bayern too - they want to replace Alonso & Schweinsteiger.
There was some Neumayr lad in midfield for our reserves who went on to play for lower division German clubs and in Swiss league. Our record with the German signings is amazingly poor as well, can only think of Rom Robert Zieler the old res keeper
Interesting.. When was thisThere was some Neumayr lad in midfield for our reserves who went on to play for lower division German clubs and in Swiss league.

#8 to start with I'd guess, as Carrick will still be first choice next season.Where would everyone play him if he was to come?
As an 8 (box to box) or a 6 (holding midfielder)?
I'd personally like to see him as an 8.

I´m normally not the one to call out single players, but Gündogan needs to be gone at HT. Shocking performance by the worst player of a weak team: Lazy as feck, sloppy passing and with a constant evasion of important duels. Some muppets on here should take a good look at this player if they think that Gündogan can play the holding role in an EPL midfield. Unless he makes an 180 in terms of performance level when he transfers he will be eaten alive in England.
