Paul Pogba isn't even close to that good yet, he's raw as feck and people forget this because of his highlight reel. He isn't actually even the best midfielder in Italy, let alone being in the best in the world (which is what you're implying). And the poster you replied to is correct, 2011-2013 Gundogan was a mile better than anything Pogba so far has shown.
This. And I'm a huge Pogba fan

But then again you don't watch him every week so you're arguing in the blind. He'd have won a ballon d'or if he was miles better than anything pogba has shown. Come on now, who's a better midfielder than him in Italy?

London is overrated. The north is where it's at.

You never know tbh. There's the lure of London, as well as his national team buddies Ozil and Mertesacker
Don't think this will be all that important. Granted there are some football friendships born out by nationality (Herrera, Mata, De Gea) but as to whether those 3 are friends is anyones guess really.

but, but, but....Hummels to United yeah? Plus he is so obviously a United fan. It is on!

Why's that?

van Gaal/a team on the up, higher wages and a club with more purchasing power which is likely to indicate a higher chance of winning trophies the next few years. I can only see him choosing arsenal if he's got a serious hard on for Wenger and or London.

Oh, and we're the bigger club.

Arse could quite easily sign Gundogan. They have signed quite well the past few years, and if anything they are also a team on the up who are now willing to fork out.

Whilst I completely agree with the sentiment, I get the feeling London's a very different place if you're earning 100,000 a week or so. For someone like Gundogan who's had a bad injury you'd think that he'd go for footballing reasons/career progression rather than any other factor though.

They definitely could, but in my opinion the chance of doing so is slim if United are serious about him.

It's not the way it was in SAF's final few seasons when Arsenal were quite a level below us in terms of pulling power. Arsenal have some momentum behind them and are willing to spend.

Choosing Arsenal or United is far closer than some people think.

Extremely close. Not as close as Cole and Sheringham though.

I can't see Arsenal signing him unless they let someone go, such as Wilshere who has been linked with City in recent weeks.

dunno if I want him, I would love someone more powerful. it's not like he's world class playmaker either, I mean if he goes for cheap, get him fast and bring on another, or wait here give chance to andreas

Ah yes the age old argument that if someone has a different opinion than you they clearly don't watch the team, a silly way to argue but I'd like to inform you I watch Juventus as often as I can (which is very often) as I have kept an interest in Pogba myself since he left us. Pirlo was still a level above Pogba before his injury. Whilst being slightly off the pace lately Pjanic has outperformed Pogba for a solid year and a half. Pre-injury Vidal was significantly better than Pogba, whether he can get back to that level remains to be seen but he too outperformed Pogba as well for a solid season.

This, and he is not even the best midfielder of Juventus, let alone in Italy.

Arsenal are the joke of the Premier League. They haven't even won a league in over a decade and have haven't seen the CL quarter finals for over 5 years lol. Even Moyes got further than them ffs.

Just under 3 years ago we took their player and captain. Assuming we are back in the CL then we should not be losing out to Arsenal for players.

Aaron Ramsey?

That's not comparable. Ramsey chose Arsenal over us because Wenger said he would keep him at Arsenal to train with the first team, while we said we'd loan him back. Ramsey felt like he was wanted at Arsenal, where as he didn't with our offer.
