But this is Sky Sports who reported it, not the daily mirror! If we can't trust Sky Sports who do we trust?
Just the BBC (for me)

Wait, so people have actually given up on this already?
Dortmund wasn't going to say "Yeah he's off, we've lost Goetze, Lewandowski. Losing Klopp and now we're going to lose Gundogan. But we'll be OK".
Patience people. There was too much noise last night for it to be all false.
Plus we managed to get knocked out by the likes of Basle, Otelul Galati and Benfica in the champions league due to the lack of investment.

Only with Italian stuff...BBC and di Marzio.

Either way my point was that we should have been investing in our squad properly during those years which would have prevented us from having to become desperate when buying players once Ferguson left. In our final match of the group stage campaign we had a team with no midfield. We were knocked out because that year Fergie underestimated the Champions League group and rotated the players alot - gave young players chances. That eventually backfired. See the teams for all the matches in the group stage.
That 2009 summer was a stinker, £80M in for Ronnie and we bought Valencia and Obertan and got Michael Owen on a free.
Not really. We did well in the league but that is because SAF would have been able to win UCL with Heskey and Cattermole too.Until we changed managers that policy was working.

We did badly in Europe after Ronaldo left. The squad quality significantly decreased since 2009. The policy wasn't working at all, but Fergie was so awesome that masked the policy's failures.
Yep. Quartes in 2010, couldn't pass the groups in 12 and we lost in first KO stage in 13. Compare it to other top teams, or even us in years before it.We did make it to the final in 2011.
That's in the gossip, when they now tweet Gundogan is close to signing with United, it's as good as done. Dont read the gossip anyway.BBCs record in transfer gossips is vitually non-exisitent. They dont speculate, they report things that took place.
Marseille, Chelsea and Schalke. We couldn't have asked for a better route to the final. I think in the final we went with Giggs and park ji sung in the middle. We did make it to the final in 2011.

Giggs and Carrick in midfield. Park and Valencia in the wings, Rooney as No.10 while Chicha in offside.Marseille, Chelsea and Schalke. We couldn't have asked for a better route to the final. I think in the final we went with Giggs and park ji sung in the middle.
I hoped he would have just sat back with a defensive team and try to grab a goal on the break. Guess he had too much pride for that.Giggs and Carrick in midfield. Park and Valencia in the wings, Rooney as No.10 while Chicha in offside.
Giggs and Carrick in midfield against best midfield ever was criminal. No idea what SAF was thinking.

The more this deal delays the more i find faults in his play which is strange because i wasn't even thinking about Gundogan before yesterday.
Winning the title is far more easy than winning UCL. Playing Schalke, Marseille ir even Chelsea is a different beast to playing Barca at its best.It was the lineup that won the title in the run in and got the team to the CL final.
I think someone made a comment about his shooting being similar to Andersons or something. Probably thrown a spanner in the works.

What does this actually mean? The other option would have been to release him by paying every cent until the end of the contract. The rumours about a move from Gündogan to United were already denied on Friday evening by Dortmund. Dortmund CEO Watzke repeated this on Saturday: ''There is and was 0.0 contact with Manchester''. Gündogan has a contract til 2016, so BVB have to give their Ok for a possible departure. Behind the scenes, different scenarios took place the last few days. Apparently, Juve and Bayern made inquiries about Gündogan's availability. But BVB didnt receive any inquiries, from Gündogan himself also nothing.
Dortmund have negotiated a contract renewal with Gündogan a while ago, his salary would be a high single digit number (in million per year), it just needs his signature. Last season, Gündogan missed the complete season because of a complicated back nerve injury. Nevertheless, Dortmund extended his contract for another year. In the current season, Gündogan fights to find his form again he had til the summer 2013, which made the superclubs interested in him. In Dortmund, it is thought that the possibility that Gündogan would decide to stay at Dortmund meanwhile as the most probable.
But Dortmund are looking for replacements in the transfer market. Question remarks remain if Dortmund really want to keep Gündogan at all costs. With his dithering and hesitation, he didnt make himself a lot of friends in his surroundings. Apparently, it is getting interpreted as a lack of loyalty from the long injured player.
After all, the club stood by him through bad times. Even a move to the rival Bayern wouldnt make somebody go to the barricades in Dortmund as long as the fee received for him would balance out the loss of his departure.
