So the deal is likely almost done then why exactly Di Maria refused to meet with United on pre-season tour again?
The feck, It is not like we've blocked his cock. No need to act like a child.

Listening to Laurent Blanc's press conference, says it's very close, very positive about it, but not official yet, still a United player, AdM not in USA, maybe he could come before they leave USA but more important that he would be in squad before the season starts
Press conference here , but poor sound quality and of course in french

You actually listened Larry White? You are a better man than I will ever be, he is so cringe worthy.

Blanc seems pretty confident about this. I'd be proper chuffed if we signed someone who is both a top player with great pace and also fits into van Gaal's system as Di Maria's replacement.

di maria's attitude is a huge issue. even if he stays would he be completely committed to the cause? he had the most assists and the most key passes per game in our team but only had 20 starts. the people who say that we wont miss him are wrong imo.

Lol then he will play as a LCM, become world class and we will all be crying again
he might not get a chance to play lcm. he works quite well with pastore but i wonder if he will end up displacing matuidi out of the side. its more likely we would see matuidi with verratti in the middle with di maria and pastore as the AMs and cavani/lucas and zlatan playing up front. its sad to see that we will be helping a european rival make a well balanced pacey team.

@Speak it makes the club look bad, which hurts. We are getting pushed around by agents and "star" players. I am sure Woodward will learn from this and shape future decisions.

I was talking to a friend about this, exactly. We seemed to be on the shit end of a deal with Madrid for De Gea and now PSG are taking a world class player from us. We should tell di Maria to feck off and force him to stay. If he starts performing, then he won't be unhappy, anymore.

We're getting rid of a player who was displaced out of the team by Ashley Young and who seems to collapse at every kind of physical challenge he received. It's like he's made from paper! The good thing is that we won't lose a lot of the transfer fee we paid and we can reinvest the money in a better fit.

The little scrote is finally getting his "dream" move to PSG, a club that have only been relevant in the past 3 years.

He's weak; a coward that isn't man enough to put up a fight and decides to completely give in after 9 months into a 5 year contract.

I hope the remainder of his footballing career fails miserably, or that something terrible happens to him - God forgive me.

Don't let the cnut go for less than £50million, I say.

He himself has drove down his own value, so let the bastard pay a large sum of his own cash to help buy himself out of the contract.

Yep. Just keep mentioning Luiz to them.

We should bid € 18.95 m for Veratti or Moura in response.

Not sure whats so funny. It's the sort of thing United would do . Just a opening sweetener.

Just saw that figure. PSG can get fecked if that is their offer but me thinks it's Jamie Jackson talking out of his arse seeing as all other reports mention a fee above €60m.

It's also the sort of thing that in almost every study into negotiations and negotiation techniques is shown to have created a hostile atmosphere and is statistically much less likely to bring about a quick, positive outcome.

Indeed. The concept that you always, absolutely always start at two extreme ends and meet in the middle is very far fetched. If the middle point you expect to finish around is £45m then PSG shouldn't start from £28m nor should United start from £90m. There's some haggling to do over the fee but the spread of offers should not be very high if both sides are serious.

Yup, your first offer should always be in the low end of acceptable. Otherwise you are just insulting the other side.

It's very funny.

Blanc - "the deal is close"

PSG then bid 28.5m

me thinks deal is not close.

Also, there is nothing sweet about it.

How do you know, maybe it's 28.5m + a suitcase of Snickers.

You've just got to laugh at the low ball bidding by clubs propped up with oil money, pay the price or feck off.
