His value may have dropped given that Di Maria has basically gone on strike. That and the fact that no other club seems to be interested. What negotiating power have we really got now?

You've just got to laugh at the low ball bidding by clubs propped up with oil money, pay the price or feck off.
A long contract for starters
Fine Di Maria heavily for a start and Woody can tell them to do one with that pathetic offer
This is the team who spent 50 mill on Luiz
When they bought Pastore and Sirigu, they missed some payments and they only respected the agreement, and I think paid everything when Palermo's owner talked about it in the press.

I want rid of him now but obviously £28.5m is a ridiculously low offer and it should be treated with disdain from us.
They paid £40m for David Luiz!
Wasn't it £50m?
Yes it was lolWasn't it £50m?
In June 2014 he transferred from Chelsea to Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of £50 million (€62 million), a world record transfer for a defender.€50m

I thought the fee was euros until a quick google search to Wiki unveiled the joke transfer fee. On that basis ADM is worth double that.Maybe it was then , always thought it was Euros, makes it even more laughable
Someone looking to make as much money for as little effort as possible.Who the feck goes on strike to get a transfer from Utd to PSG? Absolute cretin.

I hope they do. If they make a decent offer I hope we accept that and cut off discussions with PSG. There's negotiating and then there's taking the piss.Bayern Munich could become involved in this as well, they need to replace Robben and Ribery, they bought Costa and could go for ADM also.
Skysports and Wikipedia report the fee at £50m, either way its still way above where it shouuld be for a player of his caliber. The BBC says it was around £40m, think that was approx 50m euros at the time
I would much rather deal with Bayern and perhaps smooth relations with them for future transfers as they have some wonderful footballers who I would love to see don the red shirt of United (muller)I hope they do. LvG does take some of the blame, we never handled him in the way a £60m player should be handled. We seem to be doing everything to keep De Gea but the effort lacks with regards to di Maria.

And this little fella will again be stuck in a club he doesn't want to play for, dreaming of Paris all alongI hope they do. If they make a decent offer I hope we accept that and cut off discussions with PSG. There's negotiating and then there's taking the piss.
Who said he's on strike ?
He didn't report for duty on tour.
If we qualify, I pray that we get PSG in the Champions League.
I think PSG must have included a player in the deal because a bid of £28m on it's own is a joke.
I hope it's complete nonsenseOr else its complete nonsense and here we are discussing it.
