For reasons unknown, as opposed to because we definitely know he's ducking out because of PSG.
It's pretty obvious that was the reason.

We actually don't know what happened. Best to not speculate without the facts.
This isn't the newsroom at CNN, I feel perfectly comfortable speculating on something that seems very likely to have happened. If it turns out he actually left the iron on by mistake I'll make a full front page retraction.

The fact that Ducker is using a Roy Keane quotation not related to the situation probably demonstrates the extent of his knowledge of the situation.
Wait...that Keane quote was real? The one about it being about a lifestyle not about football. Im sure it was dismissed in here as a fake yesterday.
very surprised you are saying he was shite last year. You were regularly defending him And calling him world class during the season, saying it was madness to consider selling him. Out Of interest, what changed? He'll improve them but I hope people don't start looking at this like we made a mistake.. He doesn't want to be here and was shite last season basically. He was never going to be a success if he didn't want to be here or if he wasn't giving his all every game, same as any player. Best for all parties to let him go and replace him with somebody who wants to come.
I gave up on him basically... And there's no point keeping him if he wants to go... He's world class at his best, and I kept holding out hope that he'd get back to that. Obvious now looking back though that the main reason he did poorly was that he just wanted to be somewhere else, so there's no point keeping him as he would produce the same type of performances most likely.very surprised you are saying he was shite last year. However, the press, judging from views aired on programmes such as Sunday Supplement, like to portray themselves as the injured, innocent party when excluded from dining at the beautiful game's tables. But that isn't true either. Those in the press who complain that they're just disseminators of information for the fans are disingenuous in the extreme. As we document every day in Mediawatch, the press is largely full of speculation, waffle and outright fictions dressed up as news. To say most of it is trivial would be to discredit the gravitas of trivia. 'Footballer eats food' is now news. 'Footballer walks down street' is news. 'Footballer has paint on his trousers' is news. Worse still, banal words are twisted to say something clearly not intended to be said. Headlines are sculpted out of words specifically designed not to give any hostages to fortune. So no-one, on either side, trusts anyone anymore.
Football journalism covering big clubs must be some laugh. Football matches for free, pre-season trips around the globe and all you need to do splash down any old shit on the page.
Ducker using an eight year old quote about a completely different player is fecking pathetic. Surely's he been called on it on Twitter?
that's what I thought. The fact that Ducker is using a Roy Keane quotation not related to the situation probably demonstrates the extent of his knowledge of the situation.
Who ever started this Roy Keane rumour needs a pat on the back.

It's a real quote, just wasn't said about this situation.
He was talking about players not wanting to move to the North East when he was Sunderland manager.
Keano might chin Ducker the next time they meet for pulling that stunt.
Wtf. How am I waking up to hear that PSG have bid £28.5m?
I will be so pissed off if we let them get him on a cheap. I was pissed off enoughwhen I thought they offered £46m ffs. We shouldn't drop a penny below what we paid.
And as we giggle all the way, we should just accept even if PSG put a 10M offer coz a bad season with us drops any player's value by more than 75%Exactly. After the excellent season he had for us and the fact that he is a year younger than he was when he joined we should definitely ask PSG to pay more than we paid for him (because the deal will likely be in euros £46m will have covered our fee already).
We have so many arguments to make them pay €70m here really. Actually ask them for €120m just for the giggles.
Do you think he's worth the £28.5m widely reported last night do you (not £46) which was the basis of my point?Exactly. Isn't the offer £46m though? I mean, that's a pretty fair deal imo.PSG are really joking about us. Lack of respect from such a rich club. No thinking about the player himself, just the respect both club should have. Offering 40M€ his just a lack of respect.
Woodward was the prey in Ramos and Madrid's case, everything was down to Perez. Now everything is down Woody.
Just bloke that stupid Argentinian tw**, fine him till he comes, and reject every PSG's offer.
I tracked down the first mention of it on Twitter... I felt like Columbo, but the guy who started it doesn't seem to even realise he started it.Who ever started this Roy Keane rumour needs a pat on the back.

Never mind, I just read up. e40m, they can feck right off with that shit.

Tonight LVG will have a press conf ahead of the game vs.... PSG. I just hope he slams them.
If it was Fergie instead, be sure that he would have destroyed PSG's direction

Why would LVG slam them? The figures are being quoted by journos who don't have the first clue. Maybe we have a good fee agreed with PSG and the deal is close to being finalized. That could be why Blanc has come out with those comments. We should know more from today's presser I think.
