Surprised that he is off. I thought he'd stay for at least another season. Not really too fussed after seeing his attitude and performances either. Shame he didn't have the mentality of some of the other players (Fellaini, Young) and stick it out.

I'm surprised there were so many claiming there is no way we were going to sell him or "look at his quotes about wanting to stay". Would have kept him but he was useless here and I can't complain too much. Think it was always clear he wanted to PSG instead of us last season anyway.

If he doesn't want to be here what can you do? It's a massive shame though as he's genuinely one of the best players in the world.

If he hasn't turned up without telling the club, he can feck off.

Also, we should hardball PSG now even more and get at least £50M.

Hopefully we get a big fee for him. Disappointing, but not all that surprising based on the shit attitude we seen from him last season.

Without knowing all the details, thats a shame.

It seems like he didnt want to join us in the first place as most mentioned, after a three game spell, it seems he wasnt the same. TBH, we played our best football last season when he didnt start (even if he was the assist for Matas awesome strike against Liverpool).

TBH, id rather we have somebody who wants to be at the club

Pretty much this. Had some good moments last season but nothing to justify the money we paid. We'll be taunted mercilessly by rival fans for this I'm sure.

Or make him put transfer request if we are to give him some bonuses and stuff.

As long as Depay is ready to go He shouldn't be much of a loss

If he goes, he goes. Feck it.

I'm not gutted about it because he was never great for us but there is a sense of frustration at what could have been.
If his heart wasn't in it though, there was no way he'd ever reach the levels he's capable of here so he may as well feck off.

It'll also mean more opportunities of game time for youngsters like Pereira, Adnan and Memphis so all is well.

1. I'm disappointed at the caf for not tracking their whereabouts sooner
2. i knew Di Maria was going to leave eventually but playing hide and seek? wow
3. Rojo must have a really dodgy passport.

I hope he ruins his career and gets injured. I said this for Thiago when he signed for Bayern and we all know whatvhappened shortly after.

Also, I would imagine LVG is saying "I don't know" because the reports of an agreement are true but he doesn't want to confirm anything.
People are being too quick to call Di Maria a cnut and say he pulled a no call, no show.

Call him a cnut for being a whiney little bitch who didn't want to stay and fight for his place but wait for the facts on this.

Yep. We basically never had him, as he did so little after October last season, and we brought in Memphis who I think will be fantastic for us long term and most likely better this season then Di Maria was for us. Not to mention that we'll probably sign Pedro as well, and will get 45m or so for a player who will need a complete turn around to last season just to start ahead of Mata, Memphis and Young.

Yeah and it makes you sound like an arse wanting a player to get injured. No need to worry about him ruining his career, he'll win plenty at PSG but thankfully we won't have to read people on here deluding themselves that he's one of the very best players in the world and would tear the league apart next year.

Extremely unprofessional and disappointing if he's decided to try and force the issue this way. I never understand why, if players REALLY want a move, they don't just submit a transfer request. I know they get a 'loyalty' bonus if they don't but i think if you really want to leave that bad then you forgo your loyalty payment. Did Sterling, after that whole saga, even submit a transfer request?

Huh, if he has really not shown up when he was expected to without warning I'd be tempted to make the move as difficult as possible, up the price PSG need to pay.

If he's just refused to get on the plane and join the squad then I'm even more convinced selling him is the right decision.

Looks like he has a fecking terrible attitude. Be glad to see the back of him.

At least De Gea is staying professional until the end but it's a shame if Di Maria has really gone awol. At least you expect some respect out of a player.

We need a proper replacement and a real option to Mata on that right side yet again if he's gone.

He was not involved last season when we were going through our best form, we aren't loosing an important player here. He would never have fulfilled expectations anyway playing on the wings, he was sold as a £60m midfielder and LvG realised he didn't fit there in his system, it was bound to end up as a failure.
