Lacazette is more Benzema
Then why are people saying Lacazette isn't a Mourinho type of player?

First game of the group stage, so yeah it was an important match.
Because Benzema is 187cm while Lacazette is 175cm and people put more importance on height than style when they talk about Mourinho.
This is a dreadful thread. Keeps on going in circles.
People saying we're paying too much for a reserve. People replying with his per minute goals ratio. Two days later, people asking the same question again.
There has been no update for over a week now, and yet there's a lot of pointless discussion going on.
Let me rephrase my question, what if they had lost? They would have got knocked out in the group stage if they had lost? I don't mean to be aggressive though.
Most of the transfer threads are like that.
Well no, most of them in the past didn't have you spamming the thread.
So a winning goal during the first three games of the group stage is an important goal.
The Fabinho thread is still active, even the Perisic thread. There is even a Dembele thread which I haven't read, AFAIK no reliable source has linked him with us.
Has he "said his goodbyes" to his teammates yet though?
Used to pretend he was Russell Beardsmore in the school playgroundDembele wore a United shirt once or something so that's been the core piece of evidence running that thread into the disappointment bin
We'll know when he puts his house on the market.Has he "said his goodbyes" to his teammates yet though?
Has De Gea signed his match ball yet? .....‘Nos Vemos en Manchester’
Richard Tanner of the Daily Express? Really?
Sheesh..that the only name on the back of the United shirts at whichever thrift store his mum picked it up at?Used to pretend he was Russell Beardsmore in the school playground
Yep. You'd think we were trying to prise away a world class striker.Never seen such a protracted saga for a bang average striker. Madrid sure know how to sell. I'd have taken the 60M offer and ran if he was playing for my team.

If he's bang average why Madrid the b2b CL winners are resisting selling him and keep the offer as high as possible to force us out of the deal ? They could have taken the 70m with pleasure as no one will offer higher than this.
They're getting us to pay for their Mbappe bid. They know we're desperate to do or business early and they can afford to drag this on until end of August and still get a deal on the last day.

Real I believe want the French lad but won't sell until they can secure the signing. That equally leaves the door open for the potential for a bid for Bale if he's no longer guaranteed a start. Just feels like people are waiting for the cogs to fall in place....

While i don't think he is bang average madrid resisting selling is not much of a point, they may be back to back CL champions but since they did not pick him in any of the big cl games he had as impact on their winning the CL as you and i did.If he's bang average why Madrid the b2b CL winners are resisting selling him and keep the offer as high as possible to force us out of the deal ? Its either that or the deal is already done and waiting to be announced.

Agree. Big Transfer announces are always for the maximum impact. New sponsorship deal, new kit, stock exchange opening......
Its either that or the deal is already done and waiting to be announced.
What would be the reason for doing that?
Announcing signings when stock exchange is open, is such a myth.
